I dont hear the fuel Pump priming
I love SR 50’s I’ve never dared to buy a ditech though!
I chased an electrical problem for weeks on 1. There’s 2 plugs on the wiring loom that are used for a numberplate light in certain countries and someone had plugged them together causing all sorts of mayhem.
Also from what I can see on your videos, it looks like your stanchion tubes aren’t in the fork yoke correctly. The stainless clip that you can see poking out at the top should be inside the clamp and then the rubber bung sits flush with the yoke. Your supposed to put the clip around the top of the tube then push the tube in from underneath and the clip sits in a grove inside. I’ve had 2 that have been put together how you’ve got yours, the rubber bung won’t last 2 mins and it’ll disappear out on the road.
we got it all worked out.
SR was one of the best looking scooters going! I had two 125 two strokes it has the same engine as the runner but was air cooled rather than LQ. But they were on the ball the frame on the 125 had the mount points for a radiator and water hose guides. So if you got hold of a 50lc front and the relevant parts from piaggio you could make your sr125 a liquid cooled version! Shame you guys over there never got the EU internal headlight set up suits the shape so much more!! Keep up the amazing videos!

You can thank the DOT for that. Im working on converting my SR into more of a EU spec. LED EU headlight, and the blinkers, ect.

@@Scooterswapshop they looked awesome and we’re crazy fast! even with just mild mods ie air filter/exhaust rollers. Wish I never sold my last HARDA racing rep one 🤦♂️

Hey SSS, is there an easier way to change the front brake pads on a bug-eye Zuma than having to unbolt the rotor so there's enough clearance? My caliper would NOT go on without hitting the rim. I'm an MX Tech, apparently a good one according to customers, but that front caliper.......almost put me in the loony bin.
Mx tech? but thats the easiest if you cant spread the pads enough to just slide it off
@@Scooterswapshop I only had 2 drinks, but that caliper was 🤬! But yes, I'm a tech and have been racing for 32yrs. Idk if I had a sudden drop in IQ, but that caliper gave me more problems than any motor, linkage bushings, siezed crank ever did. Replaced them last year no prob.
My friend has a Aprilia Sport City one 50cc 4stroke and has changed almost everything in the scooters electric system and it worked for a day but it was really slow (30kph) and now its broken againa lol.

The ditech was allways on a bad name in europe thay allways broke down ,and you cnat wheelie them ,you should get an aprilia sr150 2stroke
