Looks really good!
Thank you!
That ride height seems pretty high for 32s
Yeah they don’t give a spec actual ride height just axle angle.
Ride height and axle angle are fine
@@bobbyb608 i guess for 20mph and under
@@sleddheadxp800r mine does just fine sitting like that racing.
16 1/2 is high for 32’? They suppose to come factory with 16. I have 18 in the front on my turbo s due to aftermarket tender springs and does fairly well and have never broke a axle.
How did u run the brake lines???
Right now he’s got them zip tied to the back tube on the upper a arms
@@SomewhatHaggard I ended up tapping some mounting holes
Yeah that’s the best way! It wouldn’t surprise me if he ends up doing that eventually.
I must say that's sweet looking
Thanks! Super happy with how it turned out!
@@SomewhatHaggard i Love the sport But it's a non-stop upgrading..
Yeah it sure is!
Did he keep tie rods stock?
Yep
@@SomewhatHaggardi got a 22 2 seater sport and just got a 23 pro xp4.. i just ordered the a arms and radius rods was on the fence about tie rods, going to get trailing arms too tho. Axles down the road, why did he stay with stock tie rods? Just wondering
The trailing arms are must!!! He left em stock just cuz they weren’t necessary to complete the project and there hadn’t been any issues with them. So far they’re still fine, just survived a Tennessee trip on 35’s. I’m guessing if they fail he’ll end up getting aftermarket ones.
Don’t know why people keep asking why he is running 32’s with foward a arms, blow budget Billy and Josh run foward a arms because they obviously make your wheel base longer which is usually better for rock crawling. But no issues with the 5+2 offset with the foward a arms?
I think most people were wanting to know why 2” forward. His intentions are to run 35’s so he went with the 2”. He just didn’t get the 35’s yet. Nope, no issues with this set up.
Do the forward a arms change the angle of the front shock?
I wonder if the forward a arms are causing the discrepancy in your angle readings
Not sure, we are gonna cycle the suspension a bunch and see where we are at.
Looks great 👍🏻 same questions why 2 inch forward when he stayed with 32s and the arms look wider what is the front n back widths please . Great video guys . Thinking about putting on a long travel on mine , have to figured out something good to tell my wife about long travel kits how much safer they are 😂
He got the 32’s because he wasn’t sure if he was gonna if he was getting everything needed to run 35’s this winter. It just so happens that he did. He went 2 inch forward because his endgame goal is to be running 35’s. Lol I did explain all this the camera but the audio was terrible and had to cut it out. I’ll have him measure but it should be similar to stock. Hell yeah I wish we could too! More width, more stability, definitely the safe route lol. Thanks!
Is this stock 64 or long travel
Stock 64
Curious why he went 2" forwarding arms if he stayed with 32s
He bought the fresh zillas before the suspension and gear reduction. His plan is to go 35’s on his next set of tires.
@Somewhat Haggard gotcha. What kind of speeds are u seeing with gr?
We haven’t been able to get to a park and really test it out. We’re hoping soon, we’re still finishing up some of the winter projects.
Why not long travel?
We live in northern Illinois and want to be able to go to Wisconsin and they’ve got a 64” limit.
Nobody gonna talk about me mimicking a squated truck
Maybe you should buy those c. bearings in bulk
Haha the set of hd’s on my pro xp seem to be holding up! Hopefully his set will too.
