For those wondering, it is $3,500.

@@kwiiten2032 sure abt that.....😐
*chokes*
Well Macbook users can afford at least
Now make a MMO with this!
Future came fastt
I would like to test this and wish more competitors come to bringing this innovation to full reality.
Their are going to be other competitors like apple and google and many more but they are trying to build for the masses and the technology is not ready also the cost to make these things needs to come down so the price of the AR glasses will be affordable. I’m guessing apple will release their AR glasses next year or in 2021
Some other pretty good ones are coming out that are much more geared towards consumers (check out the nreal glasses if you haven't already). Still, I think this is the standard when it comes to MR. I haven't seen anything else that looks close to the Hololense 2's integrated hand/eye tracking. Can't wait for my local AR/MR meetup group to get their hands on one!
I find it incredibly hard to believe that it will actually work as advertised
The first one did! Expensive as hell but everyone who reviewed it says it was mind blowing
Was lucky enough to Job Shadow at Microsoft South Africa HQ a year back and believe me when I say it works, I got to try out the prototype for about half an hour and boy does it work
semi it does actually, that’s why it’s $10,000 lmfao
@@Imasquidx 3,499$ actually
It actually does
This would be great for computer technicians in training. Practice working on a digital model of a device first!
I understand enterprise and industrial use of the HoloLens 2, but I do not believe it should be used while operating on a patient for safety risks alone. Hands free but will be distracting. The principle of this technology is advanced but we all know that bugs are just a part of all technology.
Waiting for our AR SAO. Some will understand.
Can you see inside people with these on? I saw an ad making it look that way.
Any idea how this feels wearing them all day? Comfortable or uncomfortable? Too heavy? Or are they good to wear?
Tony Stark has left the chat

3:50 Wayne’s World :) Excellent!
Yes, everyone will want to walk around looking like they're about to attack the Death Star.
Black Mirror.
Guides is where it's at to learn anything and it show u the pictures and tell u wat to do u gonna b set
I really wonder how that could be built, and which programming languages were used
All of the laser display elements of the Hololens2, including the lasers, scanning mirrors, and guides, were invented by a company called Microvision. Microsoft buys these critical parts from Microvision to enable their design.
Unfortunately, Microsoft pretends they invented the whole thing. Microvision can't speak up because they are under an NDA.
Close up pictures of a prototype unit shown in another video reveal that the Microvision logo is on the PC boards. Microvision did admit that their name was on the boards when asked in a conference call.
So, just remember, this is only possible because of proprietary tech purchased from Microvision.
Atomic Surf who cares, we just want the finished product
Cool that they flip up and work with glasses. But those features won't bring widespread adoption. Product designers need to focus more on the meat & potatoes... better/smaller hardware, and especially better software that enterprise users actually need.
Watch the keynote please.
I firmly believe the future is no hardware and only software. Of course there’ll be some sort of hardware but it’ll be extremely minimalistic. And I think they’ve got the entire concept of augmented reality wrong. They need to project it in the real world instead of projecting false images of the real world on the smartphone. This is where I see the future to be honest.
Now we need this to support mobile networks and make it usable as a phone so we can add Unlimited Data in it and use it everywhere.
These AR devices will have unlimited applications. It may be targeted at Enterprise at the moment. but it will go to the rest of us. I Imagine the advertisers jumping on this. Walking down a High St being bombarded by stuff. Street directions etc from GPS. Reminds me of a HUD in military aircraft. It must have AI applications too.
All we need to know? Twice the price, half the buys
why they didn't demonstrate the military applications? it would have been fun to see she that take up a virtual weapon. They have a $479 million military contract, why not?
Maybe because youtube isn't the right target audience for that? Boeing probably won't advertise F-18s on youtube either, would they?
We need a map
How much bruh

Cool but the question nobody else will ask, how much radiation are you exposing your head to? I bet my bottom dollar radiation level of the fancy toy is off the charts.
White mans Magic :P
I do not know why Microsoft is making so much of a bad decision, only for the business ?? , they should have made one for consumer that communicates with a standard wireless PC instead of having a standalone system.... Now with wifi 6 and 5g, they could build a cheaper, lighter, more affordable system. Another company will overtake microsoft and as usual Microsoft will have a technological lag..... since a few years now.... MS seem to sleep on gas.
Worthless and waste of money until they increase the fov to real life fov and fix the shakey 3d models when walking around it
Hi, this is second comment
This is not consumer level and good luck convincing businesses in buying this overpriced piece of shit while there are cheaper and better alternatives.
The US military are already in contract with them.
Aslii kagak penting banget ini project.. hadeh2.. get a real job yo guys
