I believe Dickson was still on at this point because there were several years right here where she and Katherine fought over having the most time with Phillip. I think Walton came on the scene right about the time he died. I don't think there are a lot of scenes with those 2 because she basically came in at the end of the story. The aging of Phillip here is one of my all time favorite storylines from this show. Crazy Suzanne Lynch was another one (79), and I think my all time favorite is when Lori was accused of killing her future mother in law Vanessa Prentiss in 1981/82.... It is so sad to me that this show is basically over for me. It just doesn't "bring it" anymore, and hasn't for an incredibly long time.

Why did they get rid of all the orginal characters except Jill and Katherine?? The Brooks and Foster family were the best. I didn't know they had this episode of young and the restless back in the 80s although I was born in the 80s I've only seen the ones in the 90's and 2000s as well.
Seeing this show about Phillip being with Nina reminds me of what Christine said to Danny last week about Nina not wanting Sharon to be with Chance because of her past. Well seems to me Nina took Phillip from Christine her best friend. We all know Phillip and Chricket were together back during this time at some point.
Just finished watching ID the self telling true t.v. show and Thom was telling the story about his brother who killed their mother and all this was going on as he was doing the young & Restless.And yes he was gay in real life.His contract only last 3yrs.He was a good actor..
there were lots of older clips from the show but because of copyright they were removed this and a couple others are all that's left and soon they will be removed too ...i wished there was a website that showed older episodes of daytime shows...they were better written back then

Cute young man, but he didn't age well. Plus they made his character Gay, in more recent episodes. I'd also like to add, he has a troubled brother in real life. He was on an episode of, "Evil lives Here". It's really sad. It's why he was absent from the show, for long lengths of time.

Thom Bierz was so handsome and then he went and had plastic surgery and had he ears pinned....the original was a work of art. The new version not so much.
She was like a grandmother to him because her former husband was his birth father and she is trying to get him to go back to dating this really nice good girl because she does not want him to get mixed up with a not so nice girl. She was being maternal and worrying about him. That is the way it was on soaps.
