I have been a fisherman all my life.. fished an abundance of tourneys.. spent many wonderful days on the water. Now why this fellow doesn't have 1 mil subscribers I just dont know. He's the most knowledgeable fisherman I've ever had the privilege of learning his technics. Fantastic content sir!!!

I'm 100% believer in catch and release. I release some in hot oil and most back to where they came from. Enjoy Richard.
It's ok to keep some for eating
Sometimes I put a worm in the fish mouth for a thank you or it was hungry then I release it.
I release in lake wesson oil
I don't get to fish enough to catch and release. I only release, what I'm legally required to. Especially with Crappie. 3 or 4 Crappie fishing trips in the spring gotta last me til fall.

You not lying🤣. Crappie and me haven't connected in a good while. My stepdad would be 20 feet away and miss a crappie bite. I get catfish or bass. I'm confident this weekend I'll catch em.

Bass are pretty good eatin. Usually toss em back but I’ve eaten quite a few over the years, especially clearing out small ones from family members farm ponds (they can take over, hundreds of 8”-14” ones).
To many little ones will stunt the growth you gotta get them out👍🏽

Dang, I never would have guessed that a Mach II retrive would catch ANY Crappies. All your other vids on Crappies has you using kid gloves barely creeping jigs for them. Wow!
