Tom is a refreshing fighter. Honest, well-spoken, polite, all with that charming Northern twang. Expecting big things from him if he keeps improving.
You gotta be from Britain cuz northern twang sound ass backwards
@jackson,what do you mean?
@@TheJcr14 "Twang" is just British slang for a regional accent.
hopefully he makes it to the top 5.
You can tell he just calms liverpool because of all the fighters. For clout
I love how humble and honest this guy is. I really hope he climbs up in the ranks and fights for gold eventually.
He's definitely on the right track
They’re prob gonna give him a grappler next. Hopefully he doesn’t pull a Yair/Hill/Edmen/Holland
@@clarkdark2906 I don’t think that’ll happen. Based on what he said on BYM, Tom started with BJJ very young and was a BJJ instructor before coming to MMA.
@@SD-in2mv he has options. Winner of Harris/Tuivasa, Sakai, loser of Volkov/Tybura
@@clarkdark2906 or loser of Daukas/Abdulrakhimov. Assuming that fight is still happening? It’s been postponed twice I think?
It’s great how humble and honest he is about his opponents. Real breath of fresh air.
Yey I’ll definitely rooting for him in the next fight
Yeah he isn't delusional claiming he can beat everyone and shit he acknowledges he isn't ready for them and that with solid 4 years or so he'll be there wich i think he just might be.
Sas you fakin druggo, you’re spot on
Yea fuckin oath mate. I reckon if he did some training with Lez and warning guy and some other kingdomcomians then he could really elevate his game.
@@SaudiSportsScene yeah nah yeah nah yeah nah
"I'm gonna smoke you, Tom."
"Okay."
Why is he so cool?
He’s the epitome of the toughest possible dude, doesn’t care what anyone thinks so has 0 insecurity, got nothing to prove
@@jackturner4237 100%
Cause he’s probably always been the big scary dude. Sometimes kids that are huge, adopt a sweetheart personality to make friends. Certainly better than “Fuck off I’ll smash you.”
@@jackturner4237 100%
@@Deeplycloseted435 nah he was small till he was like 18
"I'm afraid of all of 'em" His honesty is super refreshing. I love that him and Rountree have no problem talking about their emotions, anxiety, etc.
I like Tom. He's got the right attitude I feel. Just taking his time, letting his skills improve.
Nah he’s the real deal
Pretty enjoyable watch, but if you're just looking for specific fighters:
0:40 - Francis Ngannou
1:24 - Derrick Lewis
2:32 - Augusto Sakai
3:26 - Shamil Abdurakhimov
4:39 - Curtis Blaydes (his favorite in the division)
5:25 - Jairzinho Rozenstruik
6:08 - Stipe Miocic (GOAT)
6:54 - Blagoy Ivanov
7:24 - Marcin Tybura
8:00 - Alexander Volkov
8:46 - Walt Harris
9:34 - Ciryl Gane
10:30 - Chris Daukaus
Thanks for the time stamps . Few days away from Curtis blades fight and yeah he's correct definitely a tough matchup for Tom . Let's see what happens this week .
@@Yeahitsme101 cant wait! should be a great scrap.
They forget about Sergey Spivak and Sergei Pavlovich which is sad.
I like Tom he sounds like a fan , a fan that can actually fight and live his dream
You DAMN Right 😆
Aged like fine wine
The perfect timing he just won
Probably intentional
Kinda the point mate...
1st round KO
I wonder what prompted that
@@danny4081 well he could have lost then it wouldnt be so good timing
As a American I gotta say, I do love this European invasion in the UFC.
As a person, people could care less about your nationality
@@2kmichaeljordan438 obviously you cared enough to comment smh...
@@2kmichaeljordan438 shut up
@@2kmichaeljordan438 Why do bl8k Americans identify with rac3 first then ? Obviously, ethnic background matters.
Me too. Especially with hope for more cards starting at 10pm saturdays and not 4am sundays ':D
Perfect timing lads
dropping that vid as soon as Aspinall drops Spivak lol
He has one of the most likable personalities on the planet, and he's a world beater. I love me some Tom Hasitall :)
You like him but can’t spell his surname. *Aspinall.
@@captaindeadpool2655 no, it's a joke as in "has-it-all"
@UCABNbOWTTJMcn36UmkdXa0A You’re smart aren’t you?
@@gabeh1839 I was being sarcastic. Like…… so sarcastic. Definitely!
I can only apologise, my friends. This is the first I’ve heard of the elbow rule. I would’ve smoked him anyway. Thanks for watching!
It's Toms elbows everyone needs to watch 😏
I was wondering if someone would bring that up 😄 The fact that I instantly noticed it and got bothered, probably means I didn't make the best use of my time in college...
Drinking beer out of the game cup is kinda gross too
It’s usually wrists don’t go over, and you put water in the cups. Also you bring all the cups together not spread out
Don't sweat it lad
Perfect timing he literally just got the ko
Aspinall will give Wonderboy a tough “fight” for the NMF title. Super humble and seems like an all around good dude.
Wonderboy wins, “submitting” him with kindness.
Tom is crazy if he thinks it will take him 4-5 years to fight the top of the division, Dude is on a fast track as of right now.
Not if he just fights guys slightly ranked above him until he gets there. They will offer him the big top 5 fights because of popularity but he doesn’t have to take them. It’s really smart on his part. I’d say 3-4 years tho 5 is way too long
Rhys Jones if he 26 that seems pretty accurate 5 years to be honest , hw champions only fight 1 or twice a year max , so it's not un realistic he gets a shot in 5 years .. I hate how fighter get bumped in the ranking because of there popularity , I honestly could't give two shits about fighters personality or trash talks I watch MMa for MMa not reality show bs
Agreed. His next fight is against #8 Shamil, so if he wins that, gets another win of someone in the top 7, then by this time next year he'll be in the conversation for a title shot
This aged like fine wine.
He’s fighting Curtis now
and now he's the HW champ
Interim Heavyweight
Glad to see him getting more attention! The mans a beast possibly a future champ!🔥
He's one of the best heavyweight fighters in the UFC. Great fight IQ, fast hands, great cardio and an impressive ground game.
@MMA on point is by far the best packaged MMA channel on CZcams. Thank you guys for the work you do.
Absolutely love his honesty.
Got a great win today too. Big future for the lad.
Im loving seeing this sort of content with the fighters from you guys. Great way to get to know them in a different environment. Inspires me as a creator ❤️
Really enjoyed the format of this interview very original and fun. Aspinall is a very exciting fighter and a very likeable dude.
“Curtis blades is a terrible matchup for me” oh Tommy, I’m praying for you 🙏🙏
As much as I love stipe I agree with Tom, Stipe's best days are behind him 😔
Respect to him. Admitting he is scarred says a lot. Saying that you aren’t scarred, you are either a liar or not human. That fear is what Kees you sharp. Knowing that you can get finished at any time
There's something that people forget. Courage and bravery isn't the absence of fear, it's persevering through even with it. I'd say someone going into the octagon scared of their opponent and then winning is much more badass. If you're not scared of being knocked out or finished, you're either really confident or you're really dumb
Well said

czcams.com/video/7gcnclGWFVg/video.html
Scared? Or scarred? Both are very different words. Raise your iq
I hope to see Tom continue on this successful run. He seems like a good and level headed fighter, with a great personality
Congrats on the championship, Tom. 💪🏽
Just seeing his win and now seeing this really shows how modest he is. Nice job!
Love these videos ! Keep up the good work
That short elbow sent spivak flying backwards. And tom was standing on one leg and leaning back off balance when he threw it, with no wind up. Thats incredible.
Love that Aspinal came in with the honesty, the Chandler stuff felt like he was trying to cut a promo, not this
This series is great and Tom is one of my favorite fighters/personalities. Good stuff!
I never actually realized how big tom is, i looked up his height during the fight today apparently he is taller than both gane and ngannou
He is the same height as them. The other two are listed an inch shorter tbh
@@templetonpeck7949 i looked up in centimeters according to google tom is 196 and the other two are 193, its common they list athletes heights wrong so i believe you
He looks taller than the listed 6'5,he was towering over bisping who is 6'2 and was wearing dress shoes
@@flammabletoast5820 yeah I've seen Francis so many times along with other 6'4" fighters and he always looks atleast an inch taller. Even in the final face-off in the cage against Stipe you can see he's clearly taller. I remember him admitting he's actually 6'5" in some French interview quite a while ago. Gane has also been listed at 6'5" multiple times but not in the UFC
@@flammabletoast5820 gane and ngannou are 6'5 they're listed shorter which is weird
These are some of the better interviews. Some type of activity for interviewer and fighter to engage in while chatting makes it more real and we get to know these fighters on a more genuine level 💯 %
Taking his time in the heavywieght division, but storming up the rankings for the NMF belt if he continues like this.
This man is great and speaks straight forward and it’s great a rare side of fighters we don’t usually see let’s get some more content wit him
Great Video!! Tom will go far in and out of the cage. He is very level-headed and well spoken/respectful.
Great episode, Tom seems like a good dude. Very respectful
6:10 damn he said Stipe Miočić more accurately than Stipe does
Tom has Eastern European heritage, polish I think
Man I like Tom. I didn’t expect him to be this laid back. Glad I watched it because I’m a fan now.
Cool episode we need more
This is what I like to see, got a ton of respect for this man. I also admire his respect for other fighters saying things like there is no shame in losing to certain people
Really fun to watch.
Fresh format guys, good work.
I love his honesty cause that fear he has will literally keep him aware of everything in there
For sure, he has a healthy amount of fear
This was rad. More, please.
This was so fun to watch, no pressure, and the interviewer not pressing him for some call out for a clickbait title. It’s great to just watch a humble guy give his honest assessment of the division and you can tell he’s intelligent. Really studies the division, I’m sure he’ll move up the division in a smart way too.
I appreciate the love for Stipe
Tom is becoming one of my favourite fighters. So down to earth and respectful. ...but a beast in the cage. Think he might be champ in a few years .
Coming here to comment right before his fight with Blaydes, love to hear his take on him, going to be a great one💪
I’m glad Tom is getting the recognition and appreciation he deserves, him and his dad are just genuine good down to earth people
@José Flores His dad is my BJJ coach and Tom comes down to the gym
Tom is the definition of an English gentleman, that being said the man's a beast inside the cage too.
can't wait to see how far this man goes brilliant fighter and he's from not far from where I'm from
I have to say boys, these interviews are fucken top notch. Great questions, great chemistry between both men, and a cool concept. Well done.
KING KONG TOM
THE BIG BRIT BRUISER
hey cous. From southeastern louisiana, u got that country boy speed & powerl
Great content
Pure, likeable guy. Big future hopefully
Really good idea for a video loved it
This guy is straight genuinely nice. I don't think I've been as appealed by an MMA fighters personality since GSP.
Mighty Mouse
Gotta love this guy. So humble and respectful like a true martial artist. I'd love to see him fight Jiri
Dude has good things to say about everyone lol. Nice guy! Absolute killer.
Great content, interesting.
Love watching Aspinall!
What geezer! only recently heard of him but he's now my favourite heavyweight. Go on Aspinall get up that hill mate!
Good luck Tom. Like your style
Dude throwing elbows the whole game and he’s getting pumped asf 🤣😭
Phenomenal vid
This is great content
Wow Tom is well spoken and has great analyses of all these fighters. Nice.
Honest, humble and a complete realist
This channel is something special. I hope yall know that.
He has a sereneness which _some_ people have when they have confidence in their ability. Very good trait. Enables you to coolly analyse and appreciate rivals.
Amazing timing
We need more of these videos with unknown fighters!!! 🔥
Big fan of Tom I definitely see him been the champ in the next few years. Reminds me of Cyril Gane the way he moves but I think Toms ground game is leagues above Cyril Tom has been training BJJ since he was 7 and his dad is a hell of an instructor.
This guy is awesome
You Guys On Point.
more of this!!!
What a great guy
I respect this guy so much
Amazing how fast his hands are. Whatever the weight class. Can’t wait to see his next fight and beyond.
Great down to earth humble hungry man future champ defo good luck Tom 💯👊🏻
What a lovely fellow he is.
New favorite heavyweight, great guy
I really like these new humble and honest guys. Aspinall, Gane and even Champ Ngannou. Calm and collected, let the hands do the trash talking…
Super pumped to watch the dude crawl up the division.
Only saw a highlight of him. When he’s not next to another heavyweight this dude is huge
Tom Aspinall “ I’m in no Rush” and now 9 months later is ranked in the top 6.
I like the no rush part. Taking his time
You guys keep doing new things, and I love it! But I can't help but call you out for the egregious elbow violations @8:42
Timely
Dudes cool asab and a hell of a fighter. Hope to see him keep climbing.
His knee + elbow was smooth asf
Toms one of my new favorite fighters
Tom!!!!!! This make me a Fan!!!!!
His evaluation of stipe is super honest, I share the opinion.
Aspinal with the massive win, with this video. Good to see him getting some online exposure
