I would have to say: Imperial K.K. (Live from K.K. Slider, not the "aircheck"). But I like all songs with a good beat to them in general. A close second would be: 2:00am music (when playing Animal Crossing late at night).
I actually started with this game, so I kind of have a bias to liking this game more than future releases of the series. But yea, I like this game, and it is definitely my favorite.
Gosh, there is a lot of features I like, hmm... *Some time later* ...I would say, internet connectivity to connect with other towns via WiFi/Internet. But most people would say that is a cop-out and there was no such thing as internet connectivity back then (except for a very few games). So a close second would be having more rooms from the DS version of Animal crossing to the original. Why? Because I like having many rooms with different furniture in them (plus I like the customization of having more rooms in that sense).

I'm surprised there are no modifications for Animal Crossing where the models are changed to be more like the standards of the Gamecube.
