The only reason why it gets a lot of praise was because it was released during a time where multiplayer games became too oversaturated in the market. CDPR only made one decent game as Witcher 1 & 2 were dogshit. What’s wrong with multiplayer? If someone likes to play with others rather than themselves then that isn’t an issue. Sure, multiplayer games nowadays suck ass and identically play all the same. But there’s no denying that there were awesome multiplayer games back in the 90’s and early 2000’s. Basically 2010 and under. Left 4 Dead, Borderlands, Journey, Dead Island, Halo, CoD, TF2, Planetside, AVP, Battlefield, etc.

And fillers were a little too much in the game... It is good but not even close to best unless you have only played 5 games in your life or you have only played battle royales...

Just a guess but he would probably not like it for not introducing anything new as a game. The games he usually praises are ones that either add some fresh innovative mechanic in the gameplay or use a pre existing one gets perfected. TW3 is a game that is all about the story, so if you don't like anything related to that (main story, lore, dialogue, voice acting, characters, etc), the game is average at best. He has also stated that he hates RPGs (and in TW3's case, RPG elements) so he would probably treat it like a modern Assassin's Creed.

I don't mind item durability generally and I haven't really had issues with it in the Witcher 3 sorta..., I wouldn't mind if the weapon durability in particular was about 50% longer lasting. Because he has a valid point in that money is ridiculously hard to make in this game for much of the first 80 hours and that weapon durability is a real dick punch. Armour is good though.
+Geralt Cousland Early game you really don't have swords worth repairing. By the time you are high enough to make a worthwhile sword at 11, repairing is pretty affordable..

When I first picked up TW3, I had only ever played one video game before and it was a shooter. I gave up 7 times and restarted because I couldn’t stay alive, and got stuck in the Keira caves with broken equipment and no repair kits. Then I found this video, and the HIT! HIT! DODGE! clicked in my brain like magic somehow and I finally was able to handle combat in the game. Thank you for the helpfully silliness! This is one of my favorite video games ever now :)
