I'm somehow 115 hours into the game and just on the boss of the third main dungeon. The worst thing is that I only feel I've put in like 30-35 hours tops

That's what I figured. I got the hint that you could see them with torches. But the hint never specified. Turns out, the ones I collected weren't the right ones. Still a bit bs imo, just tell me which torch it is in the hint then and maybe even a hint where it could be located when you make such a large Open World game where you can miss an item even easier than before. In the end, I just used AoE to kill them since they stay dead even if you die.
As a souls fan, I was suspicious of the Longtail Cat Talisman. "immune to fall damage" Switched display window and sure enough, I was right to question the power of the item. Found the small print: "Does not prevent deaths caused by fall damage"

@@poopsmith6853 not really, having it in the quick items is a lot easier to dismount while moving, in the item pouch I have to either let go of the left analog to press the dpad with my thumb, or hold the controller weird. I prefer quick item so I can more easily get the jump animation when dismounting.

So I watched this and then fought the final boss myself, on one of the runs I actually got the glitch where Radagon just doesn't move or attack and was laughing and relieved. But then I broke his posture and broke him out of the spell, I should have been able to get to the second phase easily but I panicked and died. So embarrassing
As somebody who has only played ~50 hours of Elden Ring, I appreciate that this video was 90% spoiler-free for people who only listened to the audio. Except for the part about lobsters. No way I'm stopping to fight them after hearing what they do.
lobster's don't have a second phase. Dunko's battle with the lobster somehow wandered to a different area where a one of the grafted dudes spawn. It was just a coincidence
The first time I was in the underground city I outran one of those things then went into a chapel, got the item at the front and turned around only to find that it had followed me up the stairs and went inside and the doors closed behind it. There was another one later that just tracked me halfway across the city my guts hurt from laughing

The talisman itself is immune to fall damage. It has no effect on the wearer

So I watched this and then fought the final boss myself, on one of the runs I actually got the glitch where Radagon just doesn't move or attack and was laughing and relieved. But then I broke his posture and broke him out of the spell, I should have been able to get to the second phase easily but I panicked and died. So embarrassing
As somebody who has only played ~50 hours of Elden Ring, I appreciate that this video was 90% spoiler-free for people who only listened to the audio.

lobster's don't have a second phase. Dunko's battle with the lobster somehow wandered to a different area where a one of the grafted dudes spawn. It was just a coincidence

The first time I was in the underground city I outran one of those things then went into a chapel, got the item at the front and turned around only to find that it had followed me up the stairs and went inside and the doors closed behind it. There was another one later that just tracked me halfway across the city my guts hurt from laughing
