Tbh, the abyss watchers weren't as difficult as everyone says. Yeah they were fast, but I've Neve died to them on any playthrough. Just go play Bloodborne for a bit, then come back to abyss watchers and play like it's Bloodborne (i.e. do not use your shield, just dodge everything)

Little late, but only DS2 required the button press. All other Souls games require you to hit them or roll into them
