Making My Own Costco Curb Spot

Howdy everyone, in today's video, we are back at the parking lot, making more slappy curbs. I've always been jealous of the LA Costco curb spot and want to make a budget version in Buffalo. I plan on adding some curbs every month, and hopefully, some locals will jump on board. Enjoy the video and GO SKATE!

I bought a cheap yellow construction vest from Harbor Freight, and it let's you rub brick any curb 😂. Ppl just think you're a construction worker.

Costco local here…that parking lot looks like a great candidate. Although it seems to lack a true double sider, it DOES have concrete that is old and cured. Like 20+ years cured. That will always make a good slappy curb after some prep…rub brick, then some brush or roll some latex clear gloss Varithane on the raw, porous concrete. Let dry and apply again; then aerosol gloss clear and wax, repeat as needed. I spray and wax the Costco curbs before almost every session. Good luck!

Yeah, Buffalo lacks double siders, unfortunately, but im hopeful that we can DIY one someday. Going to do some digging soon. 😎

I want to wax some curbs in West Seneca. Afaik there are none. But it's tough to find a good spot. Not many curbs with smooth ground
