Here is a fun round-up of what foliage we've learnt so far with a few surprises and alternative methods thrown in.

As important as it is to paint in detail, it's so handy to have a mini, simplified version handy. Perfect for borders and wreaths, the miniature versions are often just the same technique with a smaller brush but there are a few techniques to learn too.
I'd love to hear your suggestions for things you would like to learn how to paint in the comments below.

These tutorials are a gift to beginners. So easy to follow, with good opportunities to practice using various brushes, mixing colors and blending. Thank you
You are so welcome!
Beautiful. Thku for sharing Harriet.
No worries Ruth x
Alway such a treat to paint light, airy and without too much of a forced hand, while listening to your happy birds outside the window. These are lovely, Harriet! Thank you.

Ah thanks Frances!
Even just watching these videos, does wonders for my mental health. They are both relaxing and motivating. I can choose which one. Thank you Harriet. I was getting quite frustrated at not being very good at watercolour. But I must keep practicing practicing practicing, and maybe one day, I’ll be able to paint as good as you 🙏
Oh thank you so much!
Your angles, stem curvature, and leaf placement always look so natural and just "right" - nothing ever seems to look stiff or awkward. I'm hoping that practice will continue to improve mine - your tips are really helpful.
Hey Kim, Thanks so much, I'm glad you think so. The natural feel comes from regular practice but it's also a bit tricky to do on camera so I'm particularly pleased it comes across ok.
Your leaves look like they are going to pop off the page they are so beautiful and so real looking! I really enjoy watching you paint! Thank you
Ah thanks Denise!
Beautiful!
As a fellow left hander, I particularly appreciate your tutorials.

You're very welcome!
I'm amazed at how natural and realistic your paintings look! Not cartoonish as some tutorials make things look. I appreciate that soooo much! Thank you. I find your tutorials very relaxing and satisfying~
Thanks so much Ann!
Super lesson. Thanks!
No worries!
This is such a fabulous video…and excited to try the wreath. Thank you for inspiring me to revisit botanicals …❤
Wonderful!
Your work and your voice are sooo relaxing ! 🌸. Thank you, really helping me on different levels.
Ah thank you Emilie, I'm so glad you are finding these videos helpful
😍 stunning
Thank you!! 😊
I enjoyed learning these techniques so much! It’s become obvious that I need to invest in better brushes as mine don’t come to a crisp point. I used these forms to create a wreath painting. It turned out very pretty. Thank you!
That sounds lovely Leslee
Thank you so very much! I have been enjoying all of your previous leaf tutorials. I have to say that I especially like the style of leaves you painted in this video tutorial. The colors you chose to use are also quite lovely. I can't wait to give these leaves a try.
The nice thing about leaf painting is whatever shape you paint there is a leaf out there somewhere that looks just like it!
⚾️ looks so easy....will try
You should!
Another lovely card working. I have to say this was so above my league, though I hope to one day be able to create something as lovely. You share such brilliant teachings.
Thank you so much!
Hello Harriet, thank you for your beautiful tutorials. I came across your channel only last week, but you have made such an impact, I have ordered and received your beautiful book. I’m enrolled in my first art class next week, that being Watercolour classes.
I’m also left handed, so it it lovely to see how you go about using and holding the brushes. I hope to be as good as you one day in the distant future…
Best wishes from Dianne in Melbourne xx

Thanks so much! 😊
Lovely.
Thanks!
Yes! perfect!
Thanks Deanna, have you also had a go at my autumn leaves tutorial too? There is plenty of inspiration outside.
For rounded leaves try a filbert brush sometime. I’ve just discovered it! Your painting is wonderful.
Thanks for the tip!
Thanks for the tutorial! I like your drawings a lot! Sometimes it’s a bit challenging to see your drawings which is outside the screen range :( and wondering if it would be able to have the top view for the drawing steps? Thank you!!!
As we made more videos we improved on this
I just cannot get thin stems!
Keep practising!
