    As an Aussie I really appreciated seeing this tutorial. Diluted paint really does make a difference

    I love the way you explain
    And the way the work is without harsh lead pencil outlines
    Please explain your watercolours
    If they are customised by you

    Lovely! I’m loitering. I’m waiting for some supplies to arrive. You may have been responsible for a few of them. Thank you ;-) I have your book and it’s a lovely read with plenty to look at and try out. I’m still trying to master the one stroke S and C curves. Time is tight at the moment but I will get there. A new way of doing things is always a challenge at first and satisfying when mastered. She said.

    I so love following along to these videos - really easy and good step by step. I use winsor pans rather than the tubes and I dont seem to get the same rich colour you do. Do I just really need to be layering on the paint in the mixing palette?
    Thanks, Laura

    • @deWintonPaperCo
      @deWintonPaperCo  Před 4 lety

      Hi Laura, if you check the quality of your pans, is it pro/artist quality? That will help with good colour. Otherwise experiment with adding a little more paint every time you put brush to paper.

    How did you pick up those small puddles of paint that had been at the tips? Could you show us that in a future video? Thanks for teaching me so much!!!

      Hi Cher, you go back in with a clean brush and soak them up. Watch my magnolia video and you will see me do it

    Thank you for the tutorial. I really love your finished painting! I painted along, but my stem placement is super awkward. Any tips besides just practice practice practice?

    • @deWintonPaperCo
      @deWintonPaperCo  Před 3 lety

      Yes you’ve got it! Practise will help a more confident and fluid flow!

  • @yunzers

    Did you sop up some of the color that puddled at the bottom of the leaves? Mine didn’t dry like yours.

    • @deWintonPaperCo
      @deWintonPaperCo  Před 3 lety +1

      No it’s just all about practise, you will soon get the right amount of liquid on your brush that works for your painting style
