    Your channel is by far one of the most detailed channel about bike reapairment if not the most detalied one, the only thing sad it's thats only about scooters (i got a honda helix 150 deluxe, 1985, but im bike mechanic, so i got other 4 bikes)
    Greetings from argentina!

    I watched this video about a week ago as I attempted to remove the clutch from my 2002 50cc Zuma. Just got my spanner wrench in the mail today, and re-watched this evening so I would be certain what to do. Thank you for posting this, it is (so far) the ONLY video on CZcams that actually demonstrates how to do this for an old Zuma!
    I wondered as I watched both times: "How come he never says anything?" And this evening I noticed your fingers counting the bolts in the crankcase as though you were using ASL. I figured, "Lots of people probably count that way." Still, it seemed odd that you never spoke in the video and that you counted in this somewhat unusual manner.
    But hey! I get it now!!! That year of junior college ASL that I took sometimes pays off. Thank you again for posting this! It needs no spoken words anyway, not the way you filmed it. Well done!

      Okay, Mitch, now we have a problem: I followed your visual instructions here for removal of the clutch: you take a socket wrench, brace the spanner against the ground, give a few solid downward pushes, and pop! It comes loose! The thing is, I am not at all certain you had not removed this same nut earlier, because I just tried this with a regular wrench with my spanner against the ground and despite heating the nut with a blowtorch before applying my greatest strength against the nut, the wrench slipped off the nut and I ended up gouging two of the fingers of my right hand. Once the bleeding stops, I will try to remove the nut again, but I have to ask: how did you get this nut off the FIRST time you did it? It cannot have been as direct or easy as you show in this video. Did you heat it first? Did you use different tools? Power tools? How? Please explain! Because without that information, the video is misleading at best and people like me get injured at worst. Thanks!

      @Kirby444 Před 4 lety

      So I got a 17mm shallow socket, and between that and a breaker bat I got that nut off! Man, that was hard! Thanks anyway! Enjoy Hawaii!

    Excellent, thank you this will be very helpful. I’ve owned mine for 10 years and just hit 10,000. I’m having a buzzing/chatter from the CVT, so this will come in handy figuring out how to fix it.

    Hey Mitch. This video was supper helpful. I’m installing some new OEM parts in my cvt on my 2005 yamaha zuma. New cutch and springs, new belt and new variator and roller weights. My question is: do I need to lubricate any of these new parts with moly grease or any other lubricant or do I just install them all dry? Thanks!

    I have had a vibration for the last 100km and finally I just lost drive on my 2003 yamaha bws. It's got 25,000km on it. I have not had the chance to open it up yet. What's the most common part to fail on these things. The belt? or did my CVT go to shits maybe. I was doing a lot of brake stands on it and it started to wheel hop which probably wasnt the smartest thing for it.

    Mitch help! I have a Yamaha Zuma 50 (2004) and I'm trying to remove the starter motor to test it cause I believe its very old and may need replacement since the electric start is not working, but the screws to remove it are on the inside and I cant get to the bottom one, not sure how to do it without taking apart part of the frame maybe? :S I'm new to mechanics and scooter stuff but I'm learning a lot thanks to your videos and others on youtube :)
