No, it's a slavery mindset since the beginning. Black men basically makes a slave child with black women who they refuse to take responsibility for or see them as potential money making for them. They turnaround and procreate with a white or other race women to raise children who are well provided for with wealth and access to resources that they normally would get with their own race. It's a slave mindset and it's on full display every time we watch anything on TV and see a black man with a black woman struggling to be a "man" or the happiness and freedom with a non black female as a great "father". I personally think that black women need more brown men than black men in their lives.

True words! Now, women don't want a guy so hard up that he mooches off the woman, and I think that's what Helena is getting at in her roundabout way. But, with the socio-economic realities of today, she sounds like she won't even give any Black man the time of day unless he giving himself a heart attack trying to make money. Where does love fall into this discussion? All I hear from her is money, money, money! And, that's what's wrong with so-called Black culture anyway. All the focus on material wealth has causes so many people to commit crime just to get that mean green.

Hi Helena, as a black man I can only say that BM in mass do not hate BW. But I can say for the men that they’re tired of trying to find a needle in a haystack all the time. It seems basically impossible at this point to find a BW over 23 with no kids, a good attitude and in shape. Thats really the main thing we want. Also, the ghetto ratchetness and the obsession with the men who destroy our community. I could go on but this would go for a whole page lol. Great video by the way.

Sad to say, but my best relationship when I was single was with a married woman that was 12 years my junior 🙈She was a wonderful communicator, supportive and very intelligent…..of course this comment will cause eyes to roll 😮…..as for the “passport” mentality…..gentlemen, good luck with that! While it may seem like some Black Men hate Black Women, we don't. However for the Men who are really good men of character and morals and principles and striving hard to be financially secure; we can at times become frustrated with our sisters and their behavior and mind set and actions. And I'm not surprised that more brothers are beginning to have a passport mentality. I went through that phase years ago. However, I NEVER wanted to marry a non-black woman, I just considered marrying a Black woman from another country. Fast forward several years later, I met a Black woman with whom I had seen before but had never approached in my city, however this time around, I introduced myself and set up a date for coffee and dessert. We had a nice conversation, sparks flew, and then over the course of a year, we got the chance to get to know each other better over dinner and other activities. After 1 yr. we got married, had a daughter, bought a home and the rest is history...

For me it’s been exposure and experience. I was born in a predominantly white area, moved to a predominantly black area right before adolescence and a lot of what I saw there was what you’d consider stereotypical behavior and tendencies for us. Then on top of this, with me already having different interests and background, I was kinda shut out for a while from black women and men as well when it came to making friends. Now as an adult in the same area I’ve just found it a lot easier to connect with women of other races. I like to workout, go for hikes, try new things, and try new/different things and a lot of this stuff has been called “corny” or “too much” out here.
So I agree with other points in the comments, there’s no hate for black women coming from me, I’d just say I haven’t been exposed to any yet that value what I do or share my beliefs and because of this the majority of my relationships throughout my lifetime have been outside of my race.

And if every nationality of women walks past me..who do you think are the ones that walk by me, see me and ignore me?? Meanwhile, other races more than likely will say good morning with a smile. I always loved black women but I did got bitter toward black women and purposely stopped pursuing them for a while. The reason I got bitter toward black women was because they always rejected me because I did not fit into the mold of what they thought a black man should be. Now that I'm 41 years old, I tend to get a lot of attention from black women, but I'm married to an Asian woman that I'm very happy with. So one reason some black men may be angry toward black women is because of black women denying that man's blackness. And also I just want to point out I am no longer angry with black women at all.

I’ve had my share of bad experiences with black women, but I never once believed all black women are like that. In fact, what I came away with is that all races have their fair share of bad women, same as all races having their fair share of bad men. I too date mainly black women, and I only have sisters as siblings, so I’ve seen the whole range of black women. So I’m always appreciative when I see the truth, and I know that true love is just harder to find
But yeah, it’s true, I’ve interacted with many black men that are just hostile to black women but are quick to flash a smile and offer themselves as doormats for women of other races to wipe their feet on. It’s shameful stuff, and I always end up not being open to dating other races because it just feels like a trend to not be appreciative of what you most familiar with. I’d rather struggle with black women, trying to find the right one than believing I’m smarter if I deem black women to be unattractive. The only thing that gets in the way of my loyalty is when women of other races find me attractive, I don’t wanna be unfair to anybody 😅
But it’s true, our community really needs to get their act together, urgently!

They openly scoffed at plumbers and other tradesmen and we know they make lots of money. Another woman said that being a housewife was like being a SLAVE, but wanted a traditional man. Another woman said that being asked to smile was offensive- like damn we can’t even get a Black woman to smile at us? Then you had the career women with all the degrees saying how they wouldn’t settle for this or that. Just open hostility smh

My wife and I met really young in life, she passed six years ago, so I'm literally new to dating. From my perspective it's frustration, not anger or bitter....... first I'll say alot of it has to do with where you meet them. It's frustrating that most BW are overweight and not wanting to consistently do something about it (diets don't work long term), multiple kids by multiple men, the entitlement, the hypocrisy, unaccountability, and lastly the attitude.
As a whole, if the respect, cooperation, weight and not having so many pre-marriage kids and I know that's alot, was eliminated or greatly reduced. Relations between so called black men and women in my opinion, would be better.
All of that starts with having more two parent households and shaming babymamahood, throwing a baby shower for her saying congratulations.......congratulations for what? Choosing to statically give her child the worst chance at success in life.

I am white and brunette. I met a nice black guy, he was an accountant and seemed very professional. We dated and I moved in. When we were dating, he said I was everything he ever wanted. I didn't care that he was black, but I really liked that he was the best dancer I ever dated, so that was a plus. After I moved in, he slowly started letting me know that he didn't like me being white. He said I dressed white, I ate white food, I listened to white music, I danced white, I even "talked" white, etc. I never even thought about those things before. I didn't know that I "acted white". I didn't know what "white" had a culture. I was just being me. I also enjoyed reading history and biographies, so I knew a lot of stuff. He said that he could not stand that I acted like I was smarter than everyone else, and whenever I knew something he didn't he said I was putting him down. When we went places, he always talked about how people "reacted" to us as a mixed couple. I never even thought about that before. We watched movies and he talked about how the characters acted white or black. I never noticed that before. This went on for a while (a couple of years), and I tried to make him happy, but everything white about me disgusted him. He finally dumped me for a blond. I could not understand: if he hated whites culture so much, then why did he date me in the first place? And if he was sick of my whiteness, then why did he replace me with an even "whiter" (blond) girlfriend? Since that happened, I notice that when I do see a black man with a white woman, she is usually blond. Even if she is ugly, she is blond. Why is that? (After him, my next boyfriend happened to be white. It was nice to talk about things like what's your favorite flavor of ice cream, and do you want to hike on the beach or in the hills today? I said to him, "I like to read, so I know a bunch of stuff. Does that bother you?". He said, "Of course not. Who doesn't want a smart girlfriend?" )

Besides people that are actually on here commenting, I wonder if not liking black women is actually the case with most men that you see, or hear dating outside of their race. it might have nothing to do with them directly. My last relationship, I just happen to be walking down the street, and this black woman was smiling at me when she was at of stop sign and drove off. I knew that my time in that relationship was short which it was, but I said the next woman I date will be a black woman, and a lot younger. When that time came, I used Bumble, I was 52.(now 53). Most BW women that approached me were old school mindset. oldies music, overweight, masculine and around my age. If they were fit, that was apart of their profile, pictures at the gym, running, or in workout clothes. It was almost like they assumed thats what men wanted. In person, finding someone younger just wasn't common with BW. Most women that were younger were non BW. I ended up with someone 11 younger than me, that was latin which is common as far as age difference between men and women. I am pretty active and I definitely want someone youthful and feminine. She was always smiling at me during our dates, and she still looks at me as if we had just met and its almost been a year. Sometimes I personally think it’s the way other nationalities present themselves as women that attracts all men. Attraction is going to be the first thing between a man looking at a woman. Her feminine nature, warming presence is what eventually won me over.

that know feminine qualities only act that way to get what they want not because that's who she is. As far as I can see a Modern woman is useless to a man which is what feminist wants so let it be. I don’t think we hate black women. From what I’ve been seeing and approaching and been approached, a lot of our sisters lack professionalism and morals to the point I can’t even trust my sisters. I see it from being in outdoor settings, y’all can’t help but to twerk ya booty and wear colorful hair in an environment where it’s just a good nice peaceful vibe. Even at airports. Seen a sister who started singing loud on the plane and it took for a stewardess to tell her to stop singing or else she will have to get off the plane. It gotten bad y’all. I love my sisters, I wish I can be with one but a lot can’t stay off social media, lack accountability and awareness. I’ll hope our sisters will find their way and come back to us proper. It’s hard to find a good black woman to love 💕 without fear of being cheated on and things like that

Helena, this is what's going on in the blk community. And social and mainstream media are fueling the divide between bm & bw. Each side is constantly bombarded with negative information about the other and so a result, disdain starts to fill our heart against the other. We need more positivism amongst us starting early, such as grade school, high school and college. We can defeat the outside forces pushing our gender war if we are willing to come together and work things out. I love bw and always will.

Helena, I love your videos and you present an intriguing question. Here's the real deal: we don't hate BW. There are various factors at play. Social media is a MAJOR FACTOR. Women talk and have exposed a lot of secrets of being unfaithful. What they say makes them unlikable. Reality TV shows give Black women unrealistic expectations. You yourself mentioned that 80% of women want 15% of men. If Black men are rejected constantly, then it may make it harder to love Black women. You mentioned many Black women being overweight. The crazy thing is the overweight women want men in shape or at least better shape than them. Sometimes picking these women are problematic and being solo would be a better option. I'm not a passport bro. I only put a ring on the finger of a Black woman and a Black woman gave birth to my child.
We do not hate Black women. However, we damn sure are cautious these days!!

No! Most bw want bm as husbands. Most bw don’t want nonblk men and you know it. Bw want her kids to look Blk, she wants her culture to be Blk, music and food, Blk. BW are the most loyal to bm because that’s how she’s conditioned in BC. Now, bm prefer anything Wht to light skin with straight hair no matter size, how many kids, etc. if nonblk women were into bm as a whole, I’ll say 99% of bm would have a nonblk woman. However, nonblk women are conditioned to get a Provider and Protector - $$$, and most WW want her WM. Don’t sit here and lie. BM want the opposite of his looks- Lightest to Wht / Straight hair looking in his partner and offering. 🙄

This is one of the only vids that was not overtly misogynistic when I searched “Why black men don’t date black women” after having a conversation with my friend. My theory relies on the famous “doll test” in 1940s, where black children preferred dolls depicting white people over black people because of how society shaped their mindset. Although not as prevalent or severe as back then, I believe we are still seeing that effect. Seeing some pretty nuanced takes in the comments, so great video and hope this helps!

First Helena, I compliment your beauty. Starting @ 2:24 in your vlog, you asked "what is it that has "black" women so hated?" The answer to that question is in the dictionary under the definition of "black" = 'Void of wisdom' 'Outrageously Wicked!' 'dirty dealing' 'sullen' = resentfully quiet, 'Marked by disaster or calamity' & more! Our countless shades of multigentic darkest, to the lightest brown & beyond brown visually fail to match any shade of "black", because the word is a byword description of what "we" did in Isreal as the true 12 families / tribes of the negro prophet Jacob who's name is now Isreal [KJV Genesis chptr 35 vs 10] [Also read Book of Deuteronomy entire 28th chapter] which will also elaborately explain ALL answer of the hatred among "us" & all hatred to "us".
