Mfw as a nutrition student, smell is incredibly important part of taste. Tastebuds are just salty, sweet, sour, bitter etc but the profile of most things is olfactory.
Listening to joey try to explain exactly this and garnt not really getting it was such a rollercoaster of emotions.
Lost _taste_ (not smell) during covid. Food was inedible, despite the smell being fine. Turns out, all that "salty," "sweet," and "sour" part of tasting food is pretty damn important :P

I got sick for a period of time and experienced anosmia for a couple of days which is effectively the opposite and all food and drinks taste like nothing either. I was actually under the strange impression that olfactory detection was more detailed than the tastebuds but i suppose they create a foundation for what we determine as flavours and so they would be massively important to detecting foods. In the context of the would you rather question, its still crazy to me that garnt was willing to give up memories of his own wedding though
Reminds me of when I had to take nasty medicine as a kid, was taught the trick to hold your nose so you didn't "taste" it. You still feel the bitter sensation of it on your tongue, but definitely a lot better than taking it normally.

this isn’t a trash taste episode, it’s an after dark episode
The real downside to only needing 1 hour of sleep is regardless of what you can do unless you've got an excess amount of money is you'll eventually have nothing to do until everybody else wakes up you can make paintings and build gundums and stuff like that but then you have to wait until the gundum store is open or wait till the amazon driver wakes up to drop off your new painting supplies etc.
Not to mention that in the case of the bois they would not get much more work done since they have to wait for the staff to wake up for recordings and in case of IRL stuff you have to wait until wherever you're going opens up for normal operations. The only real work they would get done (to my knowledge) is that they can upload their videos more frequently because the can edit the videos themselves instead of the editors.
Anything that requires them to create as a hobby that doesn't require them to wait for other people like I mentioned painting and also coding or building stuff the limit would be their imagination but even then it'd get exhausting having to think up new ideas to satiate your boredom.
TLDR; You would still have to wait for other people to wake up to have real fun and productivity.
Only needing one hour doesn’t mean you are banned from sleeping more than one hour. I regularly sleep more than I strictly “need”.
Im gonna disagree, I spend my days from like 10-3 instead of 7-12 and Im very happy, I want more time in my life

Have owner do things/show things with dog that makes the dog excited and prompt it to bark like feed it, or take out a favorite toy, or show the dog a leash. Connor translates the loud barks he can hear. See if they are accurate to the scenario.

You can test whether a person can fully communicate an animal by making them ask information only the animal would know.
Like put a dog into the other room without the person in question to play ball with a staff. Then afterward ask the person tested to ask the dog what they were doing. Repeat the test with other activities dozens of times to make sure.

Blindfold yourself and turn around then have another person hold up a random amount of fingers with the animal watching. There's a 1 in 6 chance you get it right by randomly guessing. In just 15 rounds, which would take no more a minute, you will get all guesses right which should only have a 1 in 470 billion chance of happening. That's the simplest and fastest way to prove that you can talk to animals.

i've lost pretty much all sense of smell and taste for about a year after covid. Biggest problem of losing taste was the fact that i still remebered how food should taste, but it didn't. And every meal became torture of nostalgia and hope about the taste from your memory. After experiencing it for only a year i would rather take 5 year memory loss over another year without taste.

It DEFINITELY depends on where in the US but I love where I'm at. It's quiet, peaceful, and I don't have a lot of bad neighbors or anything like that to deal with. It's a small town that still has good amenities (though our water is fuck off expensive compared to basically everywhere else in the US. I live next to a river that has never ran dry but somehow my water is more expensive than Californians pay apparently). If you didn't mind driving to a store, you could even get a peaceful place in the mountains with an amazing view for not a lot of money in most states. America is HUGE and there are so many options. You could pick a peaceful place yet still only be like a 10-15 minute drive from a big city with whatever conveniences you could imagine. Realistically, the only downside would be, unless you decided to live in a big city, you'd definitely HAVE to have a vehicle to get you around, it's just to big and spread out otherwise.
Plus, this question never specified that you couldn't do leisure travel whenever you wanted so you could travel to any of the countries you wanted to while still having your home in America.
The food budget question really showed the boys have never really lived with a restricted food budget
