Have you guys ever fished an electric only fishing tournament? This was my first one and it was pretty sweet! We ended up having a pretty decent day, push poled into some tight spots and caught some fish. Lookin forward to the next one!

I always love the “we can do this” talk with the partner….. and then get smoked 😅🤣🤣🤣
Got 2nd and BF with just a troll motor in a regular tournament , before I found a motor for my boat😅😅
Looks like a good time brother! Look forward to watching your season
You’re killing it so far this year! Keep it up!
Thanks for all the videos. I learn something every time I watch them.
love to see it! keep em coming.
That boat is just so clean dude. I can’t get over it. Awesome video 🤙🔥
Love the video! It’s nice you fish in Va. gives us a heads up on what’s working, thanks and looking forward to the next video.
Great job Matt!!!
Great job of showing how it is! Thanks
Good tournament blast off was epic love the channel
"Both of them pants us!" LOL
Tight lines man awesome stuff!
You're having a fantastic Spring.
great video, keep em coming, tight lines from illinois🐟🎣🐟🤘
Just followed ya on Facebook buddy, cant wait for more tourney vids, Tight Lines!
I enjoy the social aspect of fishing in a boat,I enjoy the size and amount of fish I catch out of my float tube😉 Big fish spook easier then most guys could imagine
It’s something I’ve been thinking about a lot more lately…especially on pressured bodies of water.
Thanks for the video 👍😀
Great video big homie
Great job man. Still happy for u and that last win
Perfect timing let’s go
That is so cool
Always enjoy your videos man! I saw you were at a local reservoir that I fish. That was cool to see you there, I would of said hello but I ran out juice in one of my troller motor batteries lol.
Junebug is killer in the Spring here in Texas too ....Congrats on top 5 Always fun to watch your videos !!
I think junebug catches them everywhere in the spring!..love that color almost year round #cali 🎣
Awesome video dude. That take off was like the Nascar Senior Citizen series of Buicks and Mercury Grand Marquis in the right lane of the Interstate 🤣🤣 Great job though!!!
so funny to see all those boats "rippin" down the river. Good times.
Great job
That was quite a boat flip!
I forgot the net!🤦🏻♂️
You guys stay slaying em 👌
Glad I brought Matty Ice to catch em!
@@SBFishing I might need to find me a Matty ice too cuz lake anna has been tough it should start getting good here soon tho 🤞
Nice tournament Matt, we have several electric only clubs here in PA. You need a tiller TM for the back of the boat now to get a little extra boost!
Hey Joel do you happen have name of some of them . I help run RLOS and we’re wanting have contacts for other electric clubs .
I really like that tournament, being a electric & tin rig, makes for a even playing field, y'all are a good team, & y'alk snuck in that cove being electric put a surprise on those fish, I wish there were tournaments like that here, no such thing here in Chattanooga, TN, was wondering why your not using the Shimano reel?
Just in time!
Yesssssir
Aye nice video and nice bag
You got a taste of kayak fishing lol, slow and thorough!
stealth mode!!😂
Hey man if you guys are going to fish these electric tournaments and if it's allowed I'd get a tiller style trolling motor and pull your gas motor off and get ya another battery. Using the one on front and the one in the back will surprise you how fast a Jon boat will got!! Good luck.
The chic is always a fun place to fish. My only complaint would be the boat ramp and dock needs renovating.
Awesome, Awesome!! You think BASS would have been innovative enough to bring in electric motors already... Not as much 💰 in electronics I guess... Great video! Been tuning into a few of your now bout time I subscribe I can’t miss anymore of this awesome action!! 51 boats!! 🔥🔥🍻😎
Whoop whoop
Love the videos!! Why not trim up the tiller less drag for the trolley motor?!? But you guys killed it !!
If it’s trimmed up the back end swings around like crazy. Having it down slightly helps you track
Heard tubes smack on this lake good job though ✅
I know you're not using it here, but how has that Tohatsu held up? Do you wish you went with a Merc?
Nope, big fan of the Tohatsu. Has given me 0 issues and the thing is a beast!
This may blow your mind - but Tohatsu actually makes Mercury's outboards under 30hp. They have slightly different casing/design but the internals (I believe) are nearly identical.
Hey man! I’m in VA as well I know some good holes for potentially some double digits was looking to see if you would like to fish sometime looking to start up a channel here soon to post some crazy footage I have of some toads. But love the content my guy! Jon boats killer sick💪🏼 but definitely need to get up and fish sometime
Crazy i used to fish in the ripping lips tournaments
Thanks Cody, let’s go
@@SBFishing I’d love to man! Definitely have to contact you and we talk details
@@SBFishing let’s go!!! I’m ready we need to try Briery again, caught one couple weeks ago didn’t have scale on me it was atleast 10 I don’t know I’ll show you pics though
Where’s the link to billy baits
Flip the push pole around in soft bottom.tip from a fl guy.
Thanks for the tip, I'll give that a shot next time.
U playing WSOP series this summer?
Too busy fishing!
What kind of rods are those? The cork handle ones.
Kistler rods
@@SBFishing alright thanks man!
Well damn --- thinkin' those 1st couple to start (of the season) were flukes --- just gettin' warmed-up it seems. WTG!!! Pretty cool too. Now thinkin', inside the box ---if they're hittin' hard and pullin' da bait off (not pinned)... why not shorten up a lil on length? Aggressive to take it off the bed ??? Follow me? Honestly Matt --- I'm not bein' smart ... i'm asking. But that may not be what is happening at all. Reasoning: I go back to the 50 State Tour ... clear(er) waters, they would move the "invader" off the bed -- sometimes more aggressive. Be Safe
That’s a great thought and suggestion. Wish I thought about that
Hey Matt, what is the black trailer you use on the red chatterbait? If it's secret you can keep it. Just checking Lol
It's a 10,000 Fish Yotoworm
Yoto worm
that tree at 2:01 me and my grandpa pulled 4 soild fish off of them
North east Ohio has a huge electric only circuit. Nothing to see 40 boats on a weeknight tourney and 50 to 60 on a weekend
That live well plug with the metal t on the end might cutt up your fish just a suggestion easy to get one that's not sharp.
You’re 100% right, I was thinking about that recently myself.
@@SBFishing right on bro I been thinking about that since I saw the boat reviel lol
The rules say you have to remove any other motor. Do they not enforce that? If so I might have to get in on one of these sometime later in the year. I have zero experience fishing the Chick but I wanna get out there this year if I can. Good job on 6th place!
They said it was okay if you have an outboard on the boat as long as you don’t use it.
@@SBFishing Well thats sweet. Taking an outboard off is a pain.
@@fishingwithbigchris5470 agreed
what's that senko color? Pumpkin with black?
Yep
What place did you finish in??
6th
What was first places weight?
23lbs and change. Had a high 7 lbr (almost 8) as well!
The other end of a push pole should be forked in case of soft ground.
That would’ve definitely helped. It’s a power pole stake, got the job done.
@@SBFishing as long as you find a way to make it works, that’s what matters.
Whay size is that boat
It's a 15'x48"
You need spear point hooks they are the best
Eagles Landing.
That dude at 1 55 was not in a electric only unless he had a elco 50hp
Shit with the cost of gas this might just be the ticket this season. electric tournies.
Sadly, I cannot watch this video. I came back to this video 3 times already and yet, still no CC/subtitle.
Hey, I just uploaded and posted it - the subtitles sometimes take a little bit to generate. I'll double check it in an hour or so, if it's still not up I'll input manually for you.
Should be good now
Need to Tesla swap your jon boat.
😂
This might be the dumbest tournament rule ever! 😂
And why’s that , we typically fish lakes that are electric only . You may think it’s stupid but we’re averaging over 50boats per tourn and around 200 members .
Definitely not dumb, it’s just different. It’s a really good idea IMO not only for the fact that it opens up accessibility to a bunch of people who don’t have a full sized bass boat, but also allows you to fish tournaments in waters that big tournaments will never go due to electric restrictions. I think there’s nothing but positives from an electric only series, and if you don’t like it, you don’t have to fish it 🤷🏻♂️ pretty sick that they get 50+ boats turn up though.
Sanko or Senko? Not an A...... It is not Sanko, I'm sorry but Senko
Hey Thank you for your content I truly do enjoy the whole Jon boat angle. Sorry I got a little triggered on a pronunciation of Senko last night. You do you brutha!! Keep up the good stuff!!
