I think people need to give Oh a bit more of a chance. Most of his appearances have been off the bench. When you add up his total minutes on the pitch (in League & Cup) it comes to just over 4 and a half full matches. He's scored 4 goals so far! So that's actually a more than decent return for a striker. His problem is that he needs a run of games but he's not been given that run of games because Kyogo has been in such good form. It would've been madness to take Kyogo out of the team for 3-4 games when he's been in such great form. I think once we get a full pre-season, we'll see a much better player in Oh than what we've seen so far.
Scott McDonald's insight on this upload is a breath of fresh Air not only the level of friendly competition but also the Ariel threat Celtic will face and the danger we should pose opposition teams from set plays loving his Take on everything Here not only because it mirrors what I have been saying for a while I do think we could look to Martin O'Neil's set up in essence a 3 5 2 for European games and domestic Derby's and flood the midfield with talent to compensate for the lack of a hammer throwing twinkle toes who would be a rare acquisition indeed with Wingbacks the also invert I'm sure Ange has forgotten more about football and he will be Evolving Ange ball and how that is applied for European competition simply put to be the best we must play the best and evolve our staff and tactics . HH 🍀🍀🍀🍀
Thanks guys. Excellent show again. Scott is bang on the money with his take on things . I would love to see Rocco playing more & impacing the 1st team, Summers and Brooke too( good striker) , hopefully more to follow. I always favour our own players as they are less likely to be looking out the door! What a weekend we have this week ..Paradise twice , cannot wait 🙌 HH to all at 67HailHail 🍀💚☘
It's not a time to panic over one defeat even although we were dire on the day. We've asked these boys to go to the well on so many occasions this season and when it mattered they've won. So although we can't excuse the performance what does it really mean in the grand scheme of things NOTHING. That game shows that our depth can always be upgraded as its maybe not as good as we thought. The Ibrox support were letting off fireworks after winning a meaningless game so it shows they're still as deluded as ever and they think they're back. Ange will know that there's no excuse for that performance and that he got the team selection wrong but I've felt that the team has looked tired for a few games now and it's been a long hard season so it's understandable a bit of fatigue. We just need one final push to hopefully get this treble over the line and we can't afford to take Inverness lightly as we've been stung by them before. I would've loved to have seen us break the points record as the team deserved to as some of our play has been outstanding at times this season. If we do beat Caley and get the world record eighth treble and the fifth treble in seven years then last Saturday won't ever be remembered, it won't even be a footnote in the grand scheme of things HH
I was interested in Scott’s comment that it’s tricky to play when you are cold and haven’t played for a while. My view is that Ange wanted to give some of the new players a bit of a baptism of fire. He wanted to see how they play under pressure. I wonder if there is also an element of warning people that playing poorly because you “haven’t had a run of games”. Won’t cut it anymore. I think Ange wants our fringe players to always be training hard and bashing down the door. Anthony Ralston is a good example. He was ready to go when called upon. Ange wants a squad that’s good to go always and he will push for that moving forward. The result is unfortunate and it always hurts. But I think there is more to come. We can’t rest on this though. Must keep progressing.
Great chat bhoys thank you both. Its a must we must keep CCV Hetate and Kyogo . We need clear the dead wood like Bain Hazzard McCarthy etc waste of wages. We definitely need a really good keeper ansld striker n I would like to see bit more muscle/ height inni team esp midfield
Its true.. glad you have you back with your silver lining Scotty. Disapointed with the result but true, with a transfer window looming, this was a good opportunity to test certain players in a big game. Moneys on movement during the window, 2nd GK, LB, CB, ST.. and depending on rumoured exits a RW & AM. Ange will be looking to upgrade on outgoings with maybe 1 or 2 new starters.. Wouldn't be surprised to see a South American.. Brazilian maybe?
Looking at the squad depth photo you forget the amount of players still at the club, but not playing and that's not including loan players still to return! So I think we definitely need to get rid of players that aren't contributing or that have a future! For me Ralston, Forrest McCarthy, Hazard etc have been good servants of the club, but it's time to move on. Get the prospects out on loan etc If we manage to keep the majority of our players and add quality to the team, we could have a real go of Europe. An 'enforcer' CDM and another solid CB gives a physical element to the team. Then a strong LB and RB to add depth and competition for places. A RW is a must, we've been compensating there most of this season. Finally another CF or striker that can be ruthless in Europe. So in conclusion, 6 high quality players could take us to the next level. Doesn't seem that unrealistic as long as we get rid of players we no longer need and send others on loan 🤔
Hart needs backup/competition, unless Bernabei gets better we need a LB that can hit the ground running, a CCV standard CB a Hatate style, Hatate level AMF and a 3rd first XI striker. Offload McCarthy, Welsh, (if he doesn't improve) Bernabei, Turnbull and Forrest. Wouldn't say no to another RW to help Abada, if he was Jota level that would be...
Cover required across all defensive areas . Ralston, kobayashi and bernabei are of unacceptable standards to play for Celtic. Midfielder and another striker needed aswell
Being a wee bit unfair on ralston imo, the Bhoy has been an absolute rock in past games. Kobayashi I agree with, I never like to bad mouth players but I just don’t think the players got it. And I thought bernabei was unlucky to be thrown in cold with a team that was not playing to their best against a team who were playing as if their lives depended on it. HH
@@thomasdbrady3696 just think our back ups are way out of their depth . Saturday proved our 2nd string still isnt strong enough. Serious money needs thrown at this team because i feel Saturdays performance was the last chance for a few. They failed anges test
Not lucky goals? A rebound off the keeper, and Calmac playing Sakala through via miscontrol. Aye, no luck in there at all. No wonder Rangers are failures, with fans that mentally challenged.
50/50 What is Scott on about? Kyogo, Hatate, Maeda are levels. Iwata will be fine, Kobayashi is still young and has played one bad game. Only Ideguchi has been the clear failure and this is due to injuries. Learn some Mathematics pal.
Sorry I’ve tried and can’t watch an episode when McDonald is on it Particularly when talking about winning leagues ..how any Celtic fan can forget his ridiculous celebrations in a game that meant nothing to him is beyond me . A debate in which a fair few Celtic fans find it petty ..fair enough that’s their right :i however will never understand that viewpoint
I mean skippy hamish he lost it went back tae help fellow players hes, got tae stay in his position hes the general in midfield thats why hatate and o, riley didnt get to grips with midfield calmac, was reported missing,, cal stay ware you are,, ok
Skippy what you think about calmac as now he thinks hes a defender,, hahfa, i think ange should be striged and drop calmac for the cup final and give big, carl the armband and then you might see the midfield commando the player in midfield he, s allway, s been,
I think people need to give Oh a bit more of a chance.

Top job. Brilliant input from Scott.

Love to hear Scott's analysis ,great knowledge and insight, you're not bad yourself Hamish.
Come on the hoops cos Glasgow green and white
We Learn, We Move On, and we Conquer!
I thought we missed CCV and Alistair Johnstons physicality in the Derby at the weekend.
We did.i can see our whole defence getting looked at in the summer. Ralston , bernabei and kobayashi proved they cant be trusted.
Come on the hoops cos Glasgow green and white

I love the classic design with the "ghost" emblem. Far better than the other design. A classic home kit in honour of the Lisbon Lions is overdue.

Can we stop all the stupid comments about the mole on their managers face it’s childish school playground stuff
It’s beneath our standards
Ange should be looking at LB for Melbourne City in A league - Jordan Bos.
Too late 😢
Remember when Hatate started he was getting bounced off the ball a lot, then he got the gum shield! Maybe Yoki just needs some time and a gum shield!
Classic Shirt Beautiful in it's simplicity HH
Now that it’s settling down after last weekends game, what about the missiles thrown @ our players again

Half our defence was missing though, I would have played some kids that would have stopped them gloating
Pot 1-3 teams are millions £ ahead of us ,

Rotate!! I meant rotate not 'cycle'... could not , for the life of me, think of the word.
Need better quality playing out the press under pressure and an long out ball player when it not working.
Oh dear, you watched Eurovision?
Come on Hamish, you're better than that!
Scot MacDonald says what needs to be said. Kyogo and Hatate get pass marks.

The new home top for next season is horrible
So you prefer having a huge ugly betting company logo on front instead?
I personally love the simplicity and showing the hoops front and centre
No I don’t like the sponsor but the black design on it I don’t like
I mean, it's entirely up to you.....if you wanna watch the Eurovision Song contest. I'm not judging......if I did, it'd be Nil points.
We need to upgrade on Taylor Kobiashy, maeada Oh and Abada
Kobashasi don’t see anything there hope I’m wrong
Celtic were pumped, end of story. And not with lucky goals like when Celtic won.
Double in the bag 🏆🏆, hopefully treble coming soon.Glasgows Green n White 🇳🇬🍀🏴
