Spot on Dude!!! Absolutely 100% correct!! Most consumers are DONE with these OVERPRICED VEHICLES! Great video!!
Nobody wants to pay $110,000 for a fu**ing Jeep 🤬🤬
Maybe 110k for a loaf of bread soon .Its called hyperinflation
They won't and Jeep will fade into history.

Let em go broke! No government bailouts anymore.👍
Agreed..But don't forget the Chinese government put tons of money on their companies...just saying
All three are in the same boat. They are all trash. $100K for a pickup. $100K for a denali. Ridiculous.
Beat me to it. Agree 100%
“You can't shut down, we'll go on strike!!”
Wow, even MORE money saved.
The myopic vision of the USW leadership is astounding. They’ll just shut down the whole thing and you’ll get your union bennies for a few months, then the bread line or your $1200 UBI
as if the UAW leadership has a clue how to run a car company. or any company. all they know is demand more wages and benefits. they are clowns.
Not a uaw worker and my hats off to those people to a point .but I feel sorry for them for the direction there being pushed to support harris .I may be wrong .but I don't think she cares about the auto worker .sad very sad .then for there leader to run his mouth will strike .oh ya that will show um
Couldn’t happen to a better company.
I was a loyal customer for over 20 years.
Then they shafted me large.
Never again, I’d rather hitchhike.
Cheers
Horses, carrying mankind around for centuries!!
If they had a $35k pickup 4WD, 4D, with AC and a radio, they would be selling off the lots.
Full size pick up
The old Ford Ranger and Toyota Tacoma up til about 2007ish are two of the best little trucks ever made. I still got a little 2002 B2300 that sits around most of the year, replace a few $100 parts here and there and it just keeps going year after year.
Actually, $27k: ac+rwd+radio. Would not think twice
The answer is so simple. Bring back the Dodge Dakota as a compact pickup to compete with the Ford Maverick and build them in high volume. They should also bring back some lower and mid level trim Jeep Cherokee 4x4s with a reliable naturally aspirated inline 6.
@@jayson657
Fullsize trucks have no business costing $60 to $110K unless they're dually Diesel trucks that are also fully loaded.
This nonsense of charging upwards of $70K for a Fullsize truck with a V8 is ridiculous.
You can't sell $70K-100K vehicles to folks with $30K-$40K budgets. Top Management is completely out of touch with reality.
You apparently can if you just raise the interest to 15-20%.
Yes you can. Then you Repo the vehicle and you can sell it again.
they are not targeting sales towards 30k-40k budgets any longer...
Do you mean they already sold overpriced vehicles to the stupid people with zero education?
Steallantis as out of touch as the democrat party who focuses on climate and abortion and gays. that as the world spirals out of control. yet the dems are lining up to vote harris. you cant find dumber people anywhere.
It's amazing how tone deaf both UAW and Stellantis are about simple economics. It doesn't matter how much of a salary you promise union workers, if the product is too expensive, and the consumer can't buy it, neither the guy on the line nor the manufacturer are taking any money home. It's bupkis, my little droogies.
That’s true there is not and infinite amount of money and resources, and that “elastic band” will snap
Even if they are on strike for 1 month, they never get that money back and when they know that everything is so bad everywhere and if they have a family, why put them through that? I know someone who worked at a place where the union told them that they should go on strike because the company only offered a 25 cent raise. They were on strike for 1 week and they went back to work and they only got a 25 cent raise. @@markholubetz
@@markholubetz And, the Union Presidents get richer and richer.
Viddy well little brother. Viddy well.
notice how he's wearing vote for Harris shirt my view of the UAW is now fully complete the reason they stomp their feet now for stupid things fully make sense
Good. Who wants to spend over $80,000 for a dam pickup truck. I've seen some over $100,000. That's stupid. If you can't sell your product because it's too expensive for most people, what do they expect. Plus they are junk anymore.
Rather have an older pickup that I can work on.
The position Stellantis finds itself in today speaks to poor management, focused on short-term profits and bonuses. The apparently idiotic agreements signed with the UAW also points to inadequate leadership.
At this point I think stellantis is just sabotaging the whole company because wtf literally! Nobody wants a overpriced ev pos
The uaw has nothing to do with greedy management
Exactly but the bad management alway blames labour
They done it to them selves.
They did it to themselves.
@@majorcarlton137 Quite correct, but I was using street vernacular to be more endearing and slightly ironic. The irony being that a street urchin knowing the finer points of commerce is improbable, though not impossible. What makes you go broke faster than woke? A majority of people say greed.
UAW got that big raise. Now they get to stay home. Nobody is going to pay a person $65/hr to push a broom.
We need to simply open the door for more affordable vehicles
They might soon learn that the real minimum wage is $0.
The also shouldn’t be paying a suit to bang their assistant
American companies who outsource the production of these vehicles should not get any taxpayer bailouts. So in other words no bailouts
Stellantis is not an American company.
Companies in general should not get bailouts, regardless of outsourcing hahaha.
Good job Stellantis…..priced your consumers right out of the market.
I can imagine the board meeting going like "Our customers need to earn more money. It's not our fault they are poor".
Ford n gm are both guilty too
Stellantis this woke people are EUROPE company
Stellantis this woke people are EUROPE company
Blame a good part of that on the UAW. And if the party the unions want gets in to office, the job losses will get far worse.

I just paid $16,000 cash below MSRP for a 2024 2 door Rubicon X. The only reason the UAW supports Harris is because she promised to bail them out….tough times are on the horizon!
If the government does bail them out, nobody is going to buy that crap anyway. What a waste of taxpayers money.
Interest rates were too low for the past 20 years. And that is not the democrats fault. Blame the government
$16k below MSRP. So you still over paid by about $30k.

Union membership totaling almost 40 years . NEVER,NEVER ,voted for the Union candidate. Yes I am grateful for my retirement benefits but do NOT agree to vote for Imbeciles and liars.
I was a union member for 26 years, and I will tell those International Officers of UAW are as full of shit as a Christmas turkey. Being a Local Union Officer I found for the most part that the International Officers really don't care about the Locals they cover. For the UAW to threaten a strike of a struggling company, even though Carlos Travares is the biggest problem at Stellantis, would be a death knell for those local unions, and their members. Travares, and Stallantis couldn't care less at this point if the Unions strike. All that will do is save the company money by not paying unemployment benefits, and shut the production plants which is what Tavares wants. And the ones that suffer WILL NOT be the International Officers. It will be the hard working members of the locals. With that I know that the Unions are between a rock, and a hard spot right now. But grand standing at a political convention is no way to help their members that pay the salaries of those loud mouths behind the podium.
Can't imagine discontinuing the entry level model, I remember decades ago when the Chevy WT work truck series sold like hotcakes, and I still see them on the road!
entry level people can no longer afford even an entry level car...no sense making them...people who have 'means' aren't looking for entry level vehicles...the manufacturers are chasing the money with the upscale vehicles and options.
UAW can sit on it and rotate.
Jeeez, that shows how old you are.
😂union wants stellantis to keep producing when no one is buying.
That seems to be the messaging. The writing is on the wall.
noone is buying because stellantis is charging too much. thats the real issue here - price gouging the consumers
Sorry UAW, your labor is too expensive and the cars you build are awaaaaay too expensive.
@@sprague49
Not to mention poorly built.
Well, workers are not at fault here. Harvard MBAs figured they can make a ton of money for themselves, if they sell each vehicle for twice as much, just with a little bling on top.
Union or not, manufacturing is not why vehicles cost an arm and a leg -- c-suit greed is.
And yeah, workers want management to take a hit, and slash the price in half. I want that too - would be nice to have a decent truck.
As far as quality goes, when your CEO make $100M total comp and you make 100k -- there's hardly any desire to work harder or better. Is that right? No. Can they fix it? Yeah -- just introduce ratios for total comp, eg 1:10:15:40 (min:median:mean:max), and see quality go up. Because when your outcome depends greatly on quality, not only you'll be doing good work, you'll look over your shoulder that your buddy does good work too.
When your building overpriced junk, who cares?
I can’t see how anyone could say Chrysler products are junk.
In Australia we pay around 200k for a fully equipped ram
Shut em down. It’s overdue.

I voted for him the first time…..But lost all respect for him when he tried to overturn the election. That’s treason and a threat to our democracy. And the constitution comes first. And when he couldn’t find any proof the election was rigged that sealed it for me.
I agree! Heck, I’d vote for Charles Manson before voting for that imbecile who was never even nominated!

It’s part of the plan
I offered the price of fire sales, they spit on my offer.
Stellantis is on pace to net 10 billion this year. Although profits are down, they're far from being broke.

Here we go with more Union hating bullshit. No one seems to care about greedy CEOs raising prices and getting 8 figure bonuses. But you prey on the workers who come together to fight for equality, better wages, healthcare, and education. wtf is wrong with you? You do know both sides have to agree before a contract is put up for vote? Stellantis agree to the terms when they knew damn well they could not fulfill the terms of the agreement.
Dodge currently builds crap.
UAW is complicit in this overpriced, low quality, failure.
I have a friend of mine that just purchased a new Ram truck and it has been in the shop 7 times over issues that came from the factory. One was that the tail lights were not plugged in from the factory. A police officer stopped him the day he purchased it and told him his tail lights were not working on the day he purchased it!
The quality control sucks today

That UAW guy is going to run the auto industry into the ground. I purchase a couple acres of land for less than asking price of a new vehicle. 🤦♂

UAW can go pound sand; they can all lose their jobs for all I care. As a longtime MOPAR guy, I think Toyota is looking good now that they figured out the engine problem with the Tundra.
Yep Toyota will always be a better buy as their Japanese philosophy is to build reliable rather than Flash in the Pan Fast burn out in three years trade in's Like Euros and Korean genesis!
@donaldbanner2185 Yes, Toyota has always been a more conservative company business wise and that has served them well.
Sold all my Mopars a year and a half ago because I know that s*** was going to hit the fan I didn't want to lose money on them so I got rid of them glad I did end up buying a Toyota😅
vietnam..... sorry to inform you but my bought new 2019 Tundra is sitting in my backyard with weeds growing in the bed. It has been a total piece of junk since it reached about 40,000 miles. My bought new in 08 Tundra has 300,000 trouble free miles. New Toyota's are junk like the rest of them. Sad.

Shawn Fein? yah. The shirt he's wearing tells his intelligence level. HARRIS doesn't give two shits where automobiles are manufactured. Wake up UAW. Wake up.........

Stellantis does not have a problem selling vehicles. It does not WANT to sell vehicles. Let me give them advice how to sell: slash the price by half, or even two thirds, and things will start to work out. Remove all that expensive technocrap, build basic trucks (ac+rwd+radio) that are easy to service and sell at $27k.
But they want to build unreliable technocrap and still at $90k, and keep the profits in c-suit pockets. Well, it only works for so long 😁
Everybody says they want a work truck but nobody buys em. Numbers dont lie

I’m driving a 13 year old vehicle and it’s built better than the new vehicles. The days of getting 250,000 miles out of a Toyota or Honda are long gone.
Buy the last great vehicle, the 2024 4runner.
I got letters from Dealers asking me to sell my 2013 Jeep Wrangler back.....Bizarro world.
@@2150dalekI think that’s normal nowadays. Dealer just offered to buy my girlfriend’s 10 year old SUV. They’re desperate. They want to buy your paid off vehicle for pennies and get you locked into a 7 year 8% APR loan on a new car.
They don't want a vehicle to go 400 thousand miles. What's in that for the manufacturers?? They want to sell you a new vehicle every 100 thousand miles. That is 4 sales versus one sale. And the only thing Toyota and Honda did was keep poor people driving cars for years
These days they are making cars that cost more with half the engine of earlier years.
Union representing those plants should ban together and BUY the plants and everything and become OWNERS and now they can pay everyone everything they want out of their pockets. I know of several employee owned companies. Bet the UAW would be broke in a week.
I remember 4 years ago everything was booming !!! What happened bidenomics. 😂😂😂😂😂 that the unions voted for so stop crying!!
The Union boys wanted more money. And they got it. Then they got the pink slips. LOL
Never buying new again. Loved dodge. But no more. Never. They went insane with pricing.
These vehicles are not only way overpriced they are shity... Quality. They actually build them so they were failing two years.. who in the right mind would pay $100,000 for a shity vehicle?
Right or wrong, last week I bought a new 2024 Grand Cherokee Laredo, loaded, sticker of $44,200. Got it for $31,425 out the door, including all fees, title, and tag. V6, 4X4, awesome car, we love it. Jeep dealers ARE dealing heavily right now to move way too much inventory. The dealer I bought from has TONS of the new hybrid electric Grand Cherokees sitting unsold. I asked my sales rep 'what's up with all the stupid Electrics?' He told me Stellantis is FORCING dealers to accept (purchase) one Electric jeep for every three ICE vehicles they order. The government is in on this charade, too. CRAMING the electric bull crap down our throats whether we like it or not. It's disgusting. But for real, dealers are actually dropping prices in a big way (Oklahoma City).
You got an excellent deal on that Cherokee. People just need to wait because the deals are coming. And thanks for mentioning what state you bought in.
Fain is as much to blame for this debacle as Stellantis.
The UAW has priced itself out of the market. nuf said
I couldn't afford a used car so I bought an Ebike. No regrets.
Only the Rich will own vehicles in about 5 years
To put car payments in perspective, today it’s $762/month. In 2019 is was around $350.
They are angling for another government bail out
The thing is, our government better not bail out a foreign country automaker, which is what Dodge is now.
No one want over priced rolling piles of scrap metal
UAW has no power my plant closed in 2010 they did nothing!!! You mentioned nothing about jeeps which was in your headline
To be fair unions don't have that kinda power
I have a gut feeling the manufacturers had a pretty good idea it would get to this point.
Make overpriced junk and you go bankrupt.
Hopefully there is a lesson learned there.
The communist thinking is the billionaires vs the workers. Tavares is also from the European communism, which holds the same views. The union needs to avoid playing that game. If Stellantis is in breach of contract then litigate and go for damages.
Yes there are a couple different trains of thoughts.
@@markholubetz So, what advantage does striking provide?
Communist countries produced housing units and highways and bridges and vehicles this is like a third world military dictatorship
I love how Stellantis is trying to go luxury even though there product is known to be problematic and crappier quality. There isn't a world where I am going to buy a jeep over 60k dollars if I know in 20k - 30k miles something major is going to break and you know its just going to get worse with these layoffs and strikes..
The older the vehicle the more well-made it is and simpler less to go wrong with it , people are getting smarter
Ford can cash in if they act fast and build a no frills truck without all the stupid bells and whistles that appeal to the actual working man. Comfortable seats, ac and heat, delete electric extras and use a simple radio. Basic solid colors and steel wheels. A person can add things themselves, just give them the canvas like they used to do.
UAW greed. Company greed. Perfect storm.
I remember when Biden told UAW workers “ I don’t work for you “
I don't understand how he can call Trump a scab. Would Biden force a railroad workers back to work?
Everything was too good 2016-2020. Wonder why? 🤣

Yes so obvious to most
I’ve replaced my Rubicon engine three times and I only have 90,000 miles.
They promised me after I paid them $6200 that I would have a warranty on the heads which they never warranty afterwards.
The vehicle consistently overheats, and they would rather sell you a heater core saying that you have an overheating problem rather than bleeding the system of air .
Can't wait to get a new Wrangler for $20K
That would be good to see again
UAW President got played so badly.

He already got paid. If he gets enough people fired he'll just raise dues on the rest.
Stellantis should do the smart thing and scrap CDJR and keep only the wrangler and ram, but rebrand the ram as a Jeep Comanche.
Their quality simply SUCKS.
Love most of your content bro, but the sales on Ford and GM trucks are way down as well. They are hurting though sales wise and giving up the v8 engine is part of it. People want V8 engines so all the Ram people left for Ford and GM where they can still get V8 engines. Since Ram, Chrysler, Dodge is no longer an American company so many have moved on the Ford and GM.
I don’t see Chrysler sticking around much longer unless they get away from Stellantis which is the only Chrysler as a whole is going to stick around
I see a government bailout coming
This year I retired the only new car I have ever bought !(I'm 54 ) It was a 1995 Dodge Ram 1500 2-wheele drive . I replaced it with a used Toyota 4runner .
My father bought a 98 ram 1500 2wd 5.9 with all the options new and it still fires right up! I drive it around still getting like 12mpg or whatever the pig gets on the road😄🙏
My old Time neighbor told me one time that the union broke the back of America

VERY HIGH QUALITY PRESENTATION, SPEAKER
Thank you very much
They ignore how crummy and overpriced their vehicles are. We do fine at the Nissan plant in Canton, Mississippi with no union in fact that’s why we have the plant.
Brands I would consider last if buying
UAW can buy Jeep, dodge and ram and run the company as they see fit.
Starting pay for those on the shop floor can be $400 an hour.
A 2 day work week.
A solid gold benefits package that includes 100% medical & dental coverage for life.
Of course, their crappy vehicles would have to be priced at 700k.
That sounds like an option although it may not sell any vehicles
🤣🤣....
If Stellantis was to completely go out of business, I don't think anyone would care or even notice!
When the pricing is high and a recession comes to town, your contract isn't going to save you. The company must make money if they are going to continue to pay for what they promised.
It's not just them. All manufacturers has MSRP too high and dealer markups are just crazy. Average car payment is over $700? I hope Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and Ram go belly up and UAW is going to find out.
We need a Dodge “Last Call EV” 😂
I'm predicting that Navistar/International tries to buy Ram/Jeep from Stellantis in the future. BUT don't count out the Chinese car company's if the FTC allows it.
Combination of union greed and corporate greed driving up prices
UAW members own what they build!
Most dealers finance the inventory they have sitting on their lots. The lot rot is costing them a fortune. They will have to drop their prices to move that iron or go broke. They can't afford to have vehicles sitting there for three years. Plus what customer want to buy a brand new three year old vehicle?
Once again, they don't lower their prices.
"Bedazzle the trucks and ask $250,000 for them. People will then start buying again" Stelantis/UAW future plan
dude with a "trump is a scab shirt on" lol
That guy is the UAW SO CALLED

Remember when the union said it was only going to add $500 to the cost of a vehicle under the new contract😂
During the UAW strike, I watched a reporter interview a guy on the picket line. He said, " You used to be able to live on $30 an hour, not anymore." Who would ever think you can't sell trucks for 70k? People are having a hard time paying rent, mortgage, groceries, gas. Hmmmm, I think I'll go out and finance a new truck at $1000 a month! The UAW got what they wanted and this is the result of that. I hope my grammer is correct, it's difficult to see with all the tears i'm shedding for the UAW.
Awesome, a Canadian car channel! Love it!

The company is under investigation for trucks and suv turning off by themselves on the road and getting a low voltage fault. There are about 80 complaints againts tbe company.
We’re about to head into a major recession (or worse), so, going out on strike sounds like a great idea.
