Console gaming setups are amazing! I personally went with the Alienware AW2521HFL. It's mostly the same except it's 25 inches, lacks HDR, but is much cheaper ($300). Going with a 240hz monitor is great for future proofing since many people using a monitor for a console are probably looking to buying a PC eventually.

I highly recommend using a gaming monitor for the series s. VRR alone as a feature is worth it. Better contrast, lower input lag higher framerate will give you a much improved experience for less than 200 bugs. I got the msi g24c4 for 189⏠and itâs a blast.
Considering buying the g24c6, how does the colors looks with the series s? and can you play at 120hz with the hmdi 1.4?

I have a 24â Lg 1080p, 144hz gaming monitor with my series X. Honestly the monitor is awesome and the 1080p image on that monitor looks really good. I donât really care about 4K as much as I care about my fps which I have no issue with on my monitor it all runs super smooth, looks good, and I got an amazing console to go with it. i also have the series S for the wife and she loves playing halo infinite on it lol
I love the Xbox series s, itâs great as I travel for work and I can just throw it in my bag and go.
I got a Series X and a 4k UHD 28inch Samsung monitor and it works so well i am in heaven when i start a game or movie its so good,

If youâre getting the Arctis 3 headset, buy the version that is PC specific and not the console version. Itâs usually cheaper for some reason, but it comes with an extra cable that splits the mic and headphone for some PCs. So you end up getting more for less.

do you still think the s series is a good option to play titles like starfield on a 75 inch 1080p television? I hear the downsamoling of the x and raw processing power is much better on that one now that games are advancing, and we are getting closer to the next generation. Plus right now there is only a 120$ difference in price as the x series is on sale. I'm thinking of researching also to see if these can steam to a Rog ally so I could play the Xbox from another location???

I wish I had a really good looking 1080p 120hz screen to pair with my series S, I do have a 27â 1440p 144hz MSI curved gaming monitor which is great but the Series S canât do 1440p 120hz with this particular monitor, it can only do 1080p 120hz or 1440p 60hz which if I do use 1080p on the 1440p screen yeah it runs a lot better but I lose a bunch of the crisp clean quality you would get at 1440p
That sucks. I bought a pixio px277 prime monitor and it outputs 1440p and 120hz at the same time to my series S.

I might had cheapest setup in the world a 1080p 32tv(used to monitor)with one s with my headset kb etc came with 230usd i changed that with 1440 120hz and series s but old was definitely works fine and i wouldn't change it of newer games coming out to only next gen

You are only getting 60Hz max with that setup. However, that may not matter to most peeps.

I've got a 27 inch 1440p 165hz IPS panel connected to mine. 1080p games still look great on it and then when you've got a game running above 1080p it looks even better. And of course the 120hz comes in clutch on fortnite for me especially.

I've just moved to a new apartment and sky say I've gotta wait 6 days for an engineer so I'm looking at my favourite paper weight (series s) counting down the hours until I'm back in a gta online lobby...
What I did when I moved into a new place was to use my phone as a hotspot. I was without Internet for 2 weeks and my 100gb data cap allowed me to play online for hours every day just fine.

Microsoft has to add a storage hard drive at this point. the xbox series s and x are the same other then storage. and seagates 1tb is almost half the cost of the series s, it is kinda out dated for how many gigs games can take up on this machine. but I think i will manage with storing my games nd taking them out of storage to play. noting the fact i wont be playing more then 4 games on this thing.

Iâm thinking about downgrading from 27 1440p to 24 1080. I have a gaming PC with a 2060 thatâs struggling keeping up and my series S I think maybe looks better on a 1080p than on a 1440p monitor as most games run at 1080. Bigger isnât always better.
Yes if you run games at 1080p on a 1440p monitor games do look not as good as if you played on a 1080p monitor

I almost went with that exact Alienware monitor but 1080p on a 27" screen is something I'm not fond of. Found the Dell S2721DGF on sale for only $300 at Best Buy and couldn't resist. Does 1440p @120hz with variable refresh rate enabled.

Doesn't the monitor need a hdmi 2.1 to support 120hz AND variable refresh rate otherwise you're stuck at 60hz and variable refresh rate or a static 120Hz?
Only at 4K; for 1440p and 1080p, HDMI 2.0 is enough.
No monitors supports hdmi 2.1 at the moment so games will run at 60.

Question my younger brother asked me, and now I asked you, he has a 32 inch 720p LCD tv. He is wondering does he upgrade his tv or get a xbox series S. He cant afford both. And I'm wondering if this super sampling would give him a visual improvement. He currently has a original xbox one, and my original ps4 as I have a ps4 pro.
I would wait as long as games are cross gen for more years to come and save up to 4K and X or 1080 and S.
The super sampling thing would only work if the games resolution is running above 1080p. Which of course it doesn't on the base ps4 or xbox one.

Dream is big screen hdmi 2.1 tv with dolby atmos surround sound avr tower speakers, not small computer screen with headphones lol
I have a 86â LG 4K 120hz Tv in my media room which I used to play my consoles on before but have played on monitors for years and for my eyes I can track enemies better on a monitor than a larger TV for games like call of duty. Otherwise if Iâm just playing single player games the 86â is perfect for it.
