This is one of my favorite Charli XCX songs of all time, but I don't think it should've been on the original CRASH. A lot of the songs on that album have a vintage/nostalgic flair to them, and this song (and most of the deluxe songs) sound very modern. They just wouldn't have fit, in my humble opinion.

@@dancerarinz556 i mean.. Move Me and Twice don’t really have retro vibes either, and this song at least interpolates a song from the 80s! plus this would’ve made the main album 13 tracks which fits the whole pop-villain-who-sold-her-soul vibe of the album’s marketing

@@lexandur1824 Technically its not actually a sample, I just checked out the original song and it's basically an interpolation, using an existing melody (and in this case the lyrics as well) but re-recording it instead of directly sampling it from the original song
this feels like the song that truly marks the end of the era
