Nice this makes me view the song/video as her celebrating Crash being the final record with Atlantic, the cheerleaders/confetti celebrating, the shady underwear reveal with the record company logo, everything she went through as an artist from looks to how each album/ep sounds, very cool!

Personally prefer this sound, maybes it’s basic but it’s popular for a reason. I think it’s good for artists to switch it up every album, I’m sure she’ll go back to some more experimental pop in a year or two, people need to chill.

She's so cool and talented, I love her eighties and nineties vibe. The production of her songs are so good, club music and chilling at home with surround sound on tunes. She reminds me a bit of Madonna at times, quite a provacateur and always coming up with something new but def inspired by classics ❤️

I saw her live recently and the blonde dancer is on tour with her. He really serves just as much as she does. Super entertaining to watch a human dance fluid the way he does. Her dancing live also didn’t seem awkward at all and she smiled, genuinely enjoying herself as we all cheered her on
this is her best music video.. referencing herself and all of her eras in very subtle ways, the how i’m feeling now inspired outfit in the last scene, the pink cheerleader outfit with the atlantic panties referencing sucker era probably.. the rave in the glass box scene representing her humble beginnings. the leather bondage look being reminiscent of the vroom vroom era. idk i love all of it!!
Just found this song. Heard of charli and enjoyed her music before but this is next level brilliant.
Love the Show Me Love sample as the undertrack. Digging all these pop songs bringing back the late 80's-90s tracks.
I love how this song and its video (and CRASH itself) celebrate both her being a big record label artist but also freeing herself from the chains of the contemporary music industry rules and standards.
Charli successfully managed to navigate through all of the good and the bad sides of being a big label pop artist remaining unapologetically herself. That is why she is and will remain a trailblazer of the 21st century pop music and I can’t wait for the next chapter of her story.

Is this the reason why Charli and Pop2 came out as “mixtapes” with so little promotion? It seems like they let her do what she wanted artistically with Cook, but just refused to give it full publicity (or money to get the videos to the same level as the music, for sure).

yooo charli is a REAL one. my friend was working on this music video shoot she said that part when she sits down on the toilet the plan was for her to just sit down and fake use it but charli was SO into her craft that she actually took a real shit right there. and the best part is she just kept going hard the rest of the day even though there clearly was no toilet paper on the set. no other artist would keep shooting keep dancing keep killing it after they did that. but charli did that cus thats what a bad bishh do!!!!!!!!!!!!!
