    Deconstruction can be a long process for any individual who is in this circumstance or is in something similar. The healing process is not linear, appearing differently for those who do go through the process! High control groups can make you feel like you are not deserving of good things or "will never be good enough." It then becomes important to recognize that none of that is true, and that you are and have always been good enough! ❤

    I’m glad I found your channel, thanks for making this video. I came out of a religious cult and much of what you mentioned resonates with my experience. I’m going through the deconstruction process and healing from my trauma. it’s comforting to know that more therapists are supporting survivors ❤

    I’m really glad I came across your channel! I came out of the 2x2 cult. Really nice to hear all about cults from a clinical psychologist. I think as a victim you undermine everything and then this reminds you that you aren’t crazy. I used to feel incredibly worthless but now I don’t! 😍
