A Cool Way to Pack Toothpaste for Your Next Trip

  • TravelWithRoger... - If you don’t like checking a bag when you fly, your liquids must be in containers of three ounces or less, and they all need to fit inside a one-quart bag. Yes, toothpaste is considered a liquid. The big tubes are far too large, and those tiny travel toothpaste tubes only last a few days - not two weeks! But don’t fret, I found the perfect solution that’s easy to use and only costs a few dollars. A link to the solution is below. Happy brushing!

Roger, I watch your videos frequently and sometimes refer people to them to improve their presentation skills. You are an absolute gem of a communicator who uses language and inflection masterfully. Keep up the good work.
That said, I’ve watched this a half dozen times and still can’t understand why you don’t just brush your teeth with the excess toothpaste in the tube. 😅

I bought a small round container and just squeeze my favorite toothpaste into the container. Now I have my favorite toothpaste and enough for a week or more.

Thanks. I can't find my fave toothpaste in a small travel contaier.

This is really cool! I've never heard of this product before, I use a specific toothpaste that seems to be more expensive to buy in travel size than the full size because it's hard to find! I'll definitely be trying this product out, thanks for making the video!

Those tiny tubes of toothpaste only last a couple of days, so I love this method. The other choice is to simply set aside a full tube of toothpaste until it's about half gone, and then include that when packing your toiletries. Keeps it under the 3 ounce max that way.

Ingenious in some ways but mostly impractical and an extra nuisance. Just go to the dollar store and get as many of the travel size tubes you need for your trip. You are allowed to carry-on up to one quart of liquids so as long as the tube is 3.4 oz or less you can have as many as you want up to 1 quart. Or if you are going to be away for several weeks just purchase something where you go. Traveling is difficult enough nowadays and I personally wouldn't want to reuse this toothpaste 2 Go.

Absolutely! I've used this method for years, but admit it's a bit messy at times. If you use a particular toothpaste, you may have challenges finding it in some locations and it takes another stop. The tiny tubes of toothpaste you typically find at retail outlets usually only lasts a couple of days. You can always bring several with you - which I do on occasion.

@@DestinationDevelopment That's my point. Why mess with this Toothpaste 2 Go when you can bring as many of the $1 travel sizes you want or just buy one for your travel day and then stop at a store wherever you are heading for a larger tube? No mess, No fuss😀

@@55EileenDaniel I am not so particular in that way. I use Colgate cavity protection but rarely see it in travel size so I just pick any I see.

Or just buy a 100ml size of normal toothpaste and no need for any complicated squeezing and filling of tubes ...Life's too short to peel my grapes !😅

Always the best option - IF you can find any tubes that are less than three ounces.

My neighbour used to leave his teeth at home and the maid scrubbed them and put them back on the bathroom shelf! 😀
