I've been watching your videos for a few days and enjoying them. You sure have some interesting stuff. Some minor annoyances would be: - audio quality. Maybe instead of doing one take talking until the end, you could add some cuts where you show yourself while you are brewing and add the voice afterwards, recorded in a closed space without noise? That would also give us more details about how you brew :) - the glare/glow in the video, which looks like the lenses are dirty? not sure, but it looks weird. Congrats and keep making great content!
Been wondering how well those Bouncers work. Any notes on affects for hop and malt characteristic loss? I’ve heard from some that it bumps down the beer flavor a bit. Others say it has no affect and just makes clear beer.
I’d say it has little affect on flavor. If you let the kegged beer sit long enough all the yeast and hop particles will drop out anyway. The bouncer just helps spread things along. There are 3 levels of filtration you can choose from depending on your needs so if you only want to catch hops you can just use the red filter but if you want to catch everything use the white. In my eyes it allows me to get to clear beer a lot faster than just waiting for particles to naturally fall out.
