What are the grey fittings you are using to build the manifold? It seems threading the valves in would make it easier to replace them in the future and not require a bunch of cutting and reworking the manifold.
@@Irrigation_Tech_Talk You pounding each valve into the pipe made me cringe. Using a FPTXBAR adapter allows you to screw in the black pipe to valve w/o the pounding. It would require one more adapter at each valve.

Also made by dura but the Pringle’s in the spears are better the do make it easier to replace in the future
Why not insert fittings into black pipe then screw into valve?
Easier to service these manifolds and replace a single valve
