We don't give animals enough credit. The bear is clearly aware of the falling hazard, and the goat nanny is aware that bears can be driven off by loud sounds. The nanny is not trying to break the rock, it's making a ruckus to scare off the bear.
That's just a young and inexperienced bear. Probably his first year away from his mother and still learning where to go for food and how to get it. He doesn't look injured or sick, just underweight. Not uncommon when cubs leave the mothers and go out on their own. They struggle with taking care of themselves for the first year....much like people.
Why on earth have nearly a quarter of the people who've seen this disliked? Do they hate the bear for being a bear and wanting to eat or the person who posted it for filming nature? Weird world we live in...
How sweet, she's protecting her offspring even positioning him/her on the inside of the cliff! and, putting out warnings to the bear she won't be any easy target by stomping her feet!
My experience with goats is they don’t put there selves in a position to often that can’t escape from . To me it looked like they were ready to go but the Nanny was stomping her foot to scare the bear . If you have ever spent any time with them you would be amazed where they can go even the young ones . Thanks for the video

I came here to investigate a false narrative 🥸

That foot stamping the nanny goat is doing - ewes do the same thing if you get close to their lamb. It seems to be an innate threatening behaviour.

You may have noticed the the goat clearly put her foot down to the bear's shenanigans.

The nanny (female goat) is very stressed, so is her kid (baby goat). The grizzly looks like he hasn't had a full meal in ages.
when your snack gets stuck in the vending machine

the baby goat is too adorable
The baby goat looks so adorable tucked under his mama🥰
That bear was like, I'm hungry but I'm not that hungry.
அற்புத காட்சி! கனடாவிலிருந்து எம் தொப்புள்கொடி உறவுகளின் குரலோசை!
The Bear is like," this ain't no happy meal".
How majestic is that Goat !! 💯👏🏻💫
Those goats are perfectly camouflaged against the rock so cool, also that baby goat is very cute 😌
That little one is sticking to mama like glue!
I like how the goat keeps waiving his hand like "Come on fat boy, try your luck"
I salute the patience of goat.
