I always liked this episode BECAUSE of the Junior Members (I don't necessarily know much about) taking on the General who Hulked out and doesn't see the hypocrisy of his actions. When I was younger, I didn't get the deeper meaning. But know that I am older, I appreciate the depth. He became the monster he so feared the Justice League was.
"You're right, I've become what I hate." He then still tried to justify it and say the little people would still need him to stop the heroes someday. And he never even showed up in profile for the finale.
Captain Nazi actually is a comic character, just a DC one by purchase. He was a villain of the Marvel Family back in the Fawcett Publishing days, and was the arch-enemy of Captain Marvel Jr, since he killed Freddy's dad from what I hear. I sadly haven't seen those stories yet.
Well, since I'm not even sure I've heard the name before... no? (Not that I'm Chuck; I'm just a guy with a passing interest in comics and a head for picking up trivia, which you've added to.)
2:25 I can't tell if you mean during and after WW2, or after the Berlin wall fell and then Russia invaded Ukraine. When it could honestly apply to both.
Gotta love DC's Golden Age characters getting the respect they damn well deserve.
It's certainly better then when they kill a bunch of them off just to show off how powerful a villain is like in Zero Hour.
@@mikegates8993 Still, at least that was more respectful than Heroes in Crisis.
I love this episode of JLU, and you're saying all the things I said when it aired.
"Green arrow is a threat? Not your hulked out on Nazi juice ass?"
Can I just say: Vigilante is one of the most underrated characters of this universe?
He was a real charmer for sure.

If memory serves, doesn't it get super on the nose and the General says that very thing himself?
@@JSmith99 my own memory is fuzzy on that, but that is entirely possible

They're know as the Seven Soldiers of Victory.

this is honestly one of my favourite superhero episodes ever
The cowboy who looks like a Cobra trooper at a dude ranch.
Nah, Cobra was more low key than wearing company colors in that episode from what I remember.
Well litteraly everything they did back fired and had to be stopped by the justices league kinda killed there own cases
Deluded Nationalists like Eiling are too Pig Headed to accept when they're the Problem.
honestly did The Red Hulk better than the actual Red Hulk
I loved justice league unlimited growing up
Most of 90s babies loved it.

Soooo... you didn't recognize that those boys were in fact the Newsboy Legion?

@@boobah5643 You're welcome, Not-Chuck.
I still think Waller should’ve been thrown into prison
She must've had some really good blackmail material to weasel out of the mess she helped make.
At the very least, Waller wasn't the one who injected himself with Nazi-juice and go on a rampage.
im glad you made a video on my favorite JLU episode! Really well deconstructed
.....
Damn it, now I'm picturing Green Arrow in a Schriner car, giggling it up while Canary watches with her head in her hands.
Perfect end to Part I 😆
Tiny cars? The Shriners in my area do parades from the trailer of an 18-wheeler and playing boomer music.
wait fusion dampeners..... THAT WOULD MAKE THINGS WORSE!!!!!
Nazis... why does it always have to be Nazis?
I just wonder what we'd label people we don't agree with if fascist and natzis never existed?
Because their ideology is purely based on hate, plus they're one of the most recent world changing genocidal threats in the west.
@@scockery We'd call them fascist
