    there was another time when a lady got her bike stolen and it was a specific and detailed bike so when she saw it on graigs list she placed an offer met up with the person who stole her bike and asked if she could take it for a test run/ride and he said sure just don't take off with it, and she took her bike back!!!!, that is how she got her bike back😄😁

    Cops come up with any reason to search your car. I once had a cop say I smell pot so I'm going to search your car. I've literally smoked pot once in high school. I'm 37 now so there was definitely no pot anywhere. They see a guy with a bunch of tattoos and assume I'm doing drugs.

      Yeah I had the same thing happened to me another time I got pulled out the line at the mall food court the cop claimed some1 said they saw me having lunch with a guy they caught selling drugs. Which was impossible because I was on my lunch break & had just gotten to the food court plus I was in line to get food even tho he claimed some1 saw me eating with the other guy. I even told the cop they could call my job they said they weren't going to do all that & continued questioning me even patted me down in front of every1 alot of whom were customers where I worked at.

    Littering is such a stupid thing. The only exception I can make is if it is something like an apple core on the side of an interstate road where there are trees and grass where you can be sure it will either be scavenged by animals or slowly compost along with all the other organic stuff that ends up there like fruits and nuts dropping from trees, flower petals, dead tree branches, etc...
    But when you are talking in a city on the curb or in the middle of the street anywhere then absolutely not even composable materials.

    Criminals aren't smart. A similar thing with that bicycle incident happened to me when I was in high school. When I got how one day I found that my phone wasn't in my pocket anymore and the only people I told about it where my parents. The very next day, this one guy on our bus came up to me and said he heard I lost my phone and that he could sell me a new one. There was no way he could have known that I lost my phone since I only told my parents, so I was a bit suspicious. So, I decided to go tell a family friend who was my former baseball coach and a police officer in our city. He got the cell provider to track the sim card and sure enough it was at that guys home. He got a year in juvenile detention for grand theft.

    rice doesn't help dry out a phone that got wet, in fact little bits can get into the ports if you do that. the best thing to do is to simply set it out in a room with good air flow. atleast that's what QI said, and they're usually right.

    I worked in a huge mail-sorting facility years ago. My entire job was flipping the packages so the scanner could read them. There were dozens of stations like mine in the facility. The boxes drop from about 10 feet above onto the conveyor belt, and since we couldn't get backed up, we had to flip and fling them as fast as humanly possible to keep up. "Fragile" means nothing. What that driver did? Absolutely nothing compared to what they go through in transit.

    We're having a LOT of work done in our back garden. Yes the owners are absolute dogshit for not paying up, but at the same time the workers really should have had at least partial payment up front.
    We've got a fairly good working relationship with the guys doing our garden so, if they do pay for materials out of pocket we reimburse them. Most of the time we'll pay a chunk up front and another chunk as certain aspects are completed.

  • @shadowgod1009
    @shadowgod1009 Před rokem

    Cops are not allowed to plant things like that, and it's absolutely despicable that it does happen. But humans are going to be human, some cops are corrupt and have bad intentions. But so do some teachers, politicians, soldiers, CEOs, etc. Cops are pulled from the general public, they aren't bred to be cops. Some of them are great people, the cops I have met in my city are awesome. Some are terrible, like the ones who plant "evidence".
    To get back to the planting stuff, this is why cops need to wear bodycams. And good bodycams too. Not just for the safety of the public, but also the officer. Many times people make false claims about the police and a bodycam can't lie. Also they help us understand what actually happened. Phone footage doesn't usually show the whole incident, or can miss things because of distance or angle. Having bodycams in conjunction with cellphone footage can completely change how we perceive the situation as we also get the POV of the officer. And having a camera on them will encourage the bad ones to follow the law, otherwise they will almost certainly be caught. Bodycams are an all around good thing and the federal government needs to make them mandatory for all law enforcement agencies.
