  • In this video I show you how I pieced together the water system for the tiny house. I show you the hoze connection fittings which connects to the seaflo pump which runs on a 12v battery system.
    I show you what went wrong and how I rectified it. I show you the gas boiler which I shall be using and explain why I chose this one.
    Hopefully this gives you some food for thought when planning and designing your own tiny house.

      @@Destiny.Carriers Yes, my transaction is ready to be finalized, finally, so I am headed that way early September. Perhaps we will see each other.

    A note on the Seaflo....they pump really well, but the pressure switch is shite. My first pump's switch lasted just over a year, and my second one died after 5 weeks. This was only for a shower, so not exactly in constant use.
    BTW, the added music's really distracting to the video. Shame that creators still don't get this.

      Thanks Niall, that’s fantastic feedback, with some good pointers. Will definitely do a review after use for sure! What pumps do you use now?

      @@Destiny.Carriers The old Seaflos for now, just put on a manual on/off power supply switch. But I'm looking at replacing the internal pressure switch with an external inline one. Seaflo have had this issue for years and never remedied it. Another Ytuber says that the switch is rated for AC, not DC. DC has a hotter spark and so damages or welds up it's contacts over time. A no-brainer to fix if Seaflo gave a damn. I don't recommend the pump until Seaflo gets it's act together.

      @@spindelnett6315 to be honest, I have connected the seaflow to one of the boat /rv control switches, but only for maintenance purposes etc. When I am continuously using it, I will do a few basic reviews of it. Will probably use some of these information to share with others if that’s ok? Thanks for connecting with me

      @@Destiny.Carriers Good luck. You're welcome to share my experience, and maybe Seaflo will make the needed changes. I'd have returned them under their 2yr warranty, but Amazon won't take them back after 30 days, and returning them to their base in the EU from my UK home at my own cost was pointless as they're sub £100. I won't buy any more though.

    I also want to use a Seaflo to pump water into my tiny, but i see you have it hooked up to a battery, but isn't it also possible to hook it up to a wall outlet?

    • @Destiny.Carriers
      @Destiny.Carriers  Před rokem +1

      Hi Geert, sorry for the late reply, a lot of comments have only just come up in my App. I am sure you could use it via a wall outlet, but it might require that you have a converter from the mains outlet to 12V?

    This may seem like a silly question but…. Where will the gas come from? Another great watch Pete!!! I’ll look forward to the next one ☺️

      @Destiny.Carriers  Před 2 lety +1

      Good question, so the gas comes from a gas bottles that you get for caravans and bbqs- have you seen them before Gemma? Thanks 🙏 glad you’re enjoying. It’s coming together. Thankyou for your support :)

    How far is your water tote from the house and where should the pump be placed ?

    • @Destiny.Carriers
      @Destiny.Carriers  Před 9 měsíci

      Thankyou so much for dropping us a comment, ours is approx 4 meters away from the house and is about half a meter higher than the water pump so it always feeds pump via gravity :)

    what battery are you using can you give me the reference, also what is the volcano that you bought

    • @Destiny.Carriers
      @Destiny.Carriers  Před 3 měsíci

      Funnily enough Supramonk we blessed someone with our battery so we are going to buy a new one today, will let you know what we get. Volcano is the model that runs on both propane or butane.
      It also process around 12l per minute which matches the water pump which works fab :)

    Is the pump always on or does it only turn on when you open up the tap?

    • @Destiny.Carriers
      @Destiny.Carriers  Před 7 měsíci +1

      Hi DjEms - in Short, the pump only turns on when you open up the taps.
      But the pump is linked to the rv control unit, which I can turn on or off at my convenience which helps for maintenance etc :) hope that helps. Thankyou for reaching out
