The Original water pump that came in the caravan was really loud, so we decided to swap it out with this SEAFLO water pump that was said to be much quieter. Happy with the outcome. Excuse the mono tone in my talking as it was 40 degrees Celsius (about 105f) so was fairly keen to get the job done that day! :) im far from a professional and im sure there are better ways to do what iv done but please just use this as a guide and my experience.

That noisy pump is out of adjustment my friend .. it has 2 adjustments. When adjusted correctly they are fairly quiet. Fit the pump under the van as well
Get an accumulator tank too.... Big difference 😊
I’ve got the exact same set up, I installed a accumulater just in front of the pump, just hat to get a flex hose from Bunnings. Massive difference in noise and flow!

I have the same pump and it is the quietest I've had. Your problem is the rigid hose on the outlet. Needs to be flexible braided hose on the outlet to reduce noise and vibration.
Sounds right, its actually very quiet after fastening the hard outlet pipe to anther pipe so it cant pulse. but i can see that a soft/flexible hose would work well. thanks
Theres nothing wrong with ur shurflo, you just need to have the pressure & bypass set correctly to stop it cycling on & off,

My Shurflo is not more noicy than your seaflo. It has been adjusted at factory too. It turns on/of with water pressure. A very even prsure in shower. Has never used teflon tape on these plastic connection. But on brass 1/2 '' connection.
Nice. I will mount mine on rubber, that should help. I like your caravan.
You could have tried messing with the bypass and pressure settings on the shurflo before buying the seaflo
You may try building a box lined with sound deadened material around it
Yes some house insulation might help, but its more the vibration through the floor making sound. but the new pump is great now.

Do you think that PUMP or a 12v water pump can be used in a one story house? (2 bathrooms, 2 toilets, 2 sinks and 1 kitchen)? or maybe the 5.5 GPM

yes 100% the new pump is great now. its actually very quiet after fastening the hard outlet pipe to anther pipe so it cant pulse.

Hi mate. Honestly, the pump has been working well.. it’s doing all the things it should still and is still quiet.
