I salute these people who dedicate their life for animals. They are a true gift to humanity.🙏🙏.
I wish one day we treat eachother as good as we treat animals sometimes
Umm, them helping human beings would be a gift to humanity, not this.

Obviously not the animal abusers.
Had to say it because some negative Nancy will post it.🌼

Horses are seriously some of the most amazing animals I've ever seen
Been decades since i saw a Shire... used to see them daily in London when i was a kid... Beautiful, intelligent and strong working horses.
These horses are just gorgeous!! You can tell they’re very happy and well taken care of!

So true!!!
Were you aware that in Genesis chapter 6 real giants are discussed, including how they happened to come about?
Few people are. The book of Enoch elaborates even further, and since it is quoted in several places in the Bible, I think it could be considered historically accurate.
Oh shut up
I'll never stopped being amazed by the wisdom and compassion of animals. Humans can learn a lot from animals about how to live one's life.

@@seekhimwithallyourheartand3358 what does a fairytale figure have to do with two horses befriending each other?
Kesinlikle doğru 👍
A horse showing kindness, empathy, help, sensitivity, intelligence.
He's an example we all can follow. And he's a HORSE!!
Impressive to watch.
And we need this in the world right now, more than ever.
I never knew giants were real, I guess we know now, this is a big goofy horse. He looks so sweet.
Yep, he's a draft horse, haha! They're definitely very big, especially Clydesdales. I've seen Clydesdales in person, and it's nothing like just seeing them on a video. Beautiful horses, but absolutely *massive!*

Thirty!? Wow! He looks incredible! What a darling pair of stunning horses. You have my heart, boys, it's all yours ♥️
I didn't even know a horse could live that long !
yea!! I've never seen a horse look so young at 30 lol
@@amelier3446 The average lifespan of a horse is 25-30 :) I suspect Teton will outlive thirty by man years, though. He looks incredible for his age.
@@amelier3446 The oldest verified age a horse has reached is 62! But that was exceptional, of course. Still, there have been a couple of horses within the last 20 years who have reached 51.
I don’t believe he’s actually that old. While horses can indeed live into their thirties, larger breeds like his tend to have shorter lifespans.
This is just beautiful! Animals constantly show us that friendship, acceptance and love can work miracles. Phantom is amazing and so happy to see how Teton has blossomed into his true self.
To be fair Teton probably has a lot of self esteem issues since that name means "large nipple" in French.....

Very heartwarming!!
Teton looks like a Friesian horse; they are incredibly beautiful, graceful and powerful. Good to see a 30 yo horse enjoying a quality life.

@@seekhimwithallyourheartand3358 what does a fairytale figure have to do with two horses befriending each other?
It never ceases to amaze me how animals seem to instinctively KNOW what others need and are eager to provide it. It's so moving to watch such a compassionate soul as Phantom.
Just like people...we have our BFFL that support us through the good times and the bad. Animals are no different. This was a uplifting story.
My cat and ex-husband did not like each other. But when he was laid low with an extremely bad cold, she snuggled next to him as if to comfort him, and even he found that sweet.
Horses have a universal sense. They read people and animals well
Just came from a video where rats continued to eat at the rim of a trap while other rats were drowning below them.
Of course they do…they’re not dumb
For me, them sharing food side by side really proved their friendship! Horses don't always tolerate it, so that's lovely to see!

They all look wonderfully healthy and happy, well done caring for them. I had a 17.2 Irish Hunter, soft as grease and I always likened his behaviour to that of a Labrador puppy! lol
The bond of a horse herd is interesting how the animals rely on each other for support.
Everybody needs a friend.
LOOK AT HIM GO!! My great aunt has adopted multiple drafts from gentle Giants. They are incredible
Hello Allie how’s the weather over there
If Teton's feet were that neglected, then I can't imagine how he was neglected emotionally 😔
Horses need to connect and form bonds with other horses and most thrive when they have love from humans too. The transformation in him was beautiful! Seeing how he held his head and neck at the end when he was running said it all💖
I love all horses, but the gentle giants have always been my favorites. Unfortunately, people associate size with a lack of sensitivity, both physically and emotionally.
For the last 12 years a good friend has been keeping and breeding Gypsy Cobs and I am in love with the breed💞
Thank you for rescuing and loving these big beauties!!!!!
Really? Are they kind of pack animals like dogs? Do they have a pack or herd leader, do they squabble amongst themselves etc?

It looks like phantom had something called “white line disease” - a severe bacterial infection of the laminae (the part that holds the hoof wall to the coffin bone). One of our horses had that and our farrier did a similar cut out of the spot. Once the hoof grows out and the thrush or bacteria is controlled, everything goes back to normal. 💕💕
You mean Teton
Thank you for this information. I’m glad to know he will be healed without suffering and especially that he has a special friend.

These are some huge, beautiful horses.
Quite an honor getting to experience their existence.
This is so similar to how my horse learned to be with other horses. Hunter was 3 when we rescued him from an outdoor round pen with no shelter. At first all the mares would even pick on him since he had no idea how to be around other horses. Then we got the idea to put him out with Bud, a Percheron gelding whose owner never came to see him. Bud gently and lovingly helped Hunter to learn the ropes and soon between our care, he became a popular member of the herd. Horses are amazing!
Yours is also a beautiful story. I think people who can live with horses are just so fortunate, such a wonderful animal.

I'm so happy there are organizations out there that give these gigantic horses a 2nd chance at life after working their ENTIRE 1st life.
Always warms the cockles to see animals in difficulty getting the help they need and more importantly the homes they need to live their lives with dignity. They KNOW when they are respected and respond accordingly; with loyalty and respect.

Wow, even in bad shape Teton really doesn't look his age 😯 So glad he's happy en enjoying life now ❤️
My great uncle fought in WW I and used draft horses instead of a tractor on his farm when he got home. When I went to grandma's house in the summer for a couple of weeks, I walked two miles down the road to the old "home place" where he lived and after the first day, his team of Belgian draft horses, King and Mitzi, would be standing at the corner of the pasture, waiting for me. He told me that after I went back home, they would go to that corner for a day or two, expecting me to come walking down the road. When I was ten, he passed and there was an auction of the farm and equipment. The auctioneer put me up on the hay wagon and had me drive the team around the field a bit to show how docile and well-trained they were even a child could drive them. A local farmer bought them and I can still see him walking them along the road to their new home. Their hooves were the size of dinner plates.
Nice story .Hope your are well👍👍
Lovely story it's a shame we can't speak with them explain our absence left with strong memories as they are for us.....as I'm sure they are just as strong to the horses, gentle Souls....here's hoping their later years were happy and peaceful together❣🐴
OMG they’re so adorable together! I love horses & wish I could still ride but nerve damage & severe spine issues prevents me, so if u ride enjoy every second with the beautiful gentle giants! I would love to donate my time to take care of rescue horses , as much as I can take, it would make my heart overflow with pure happiness like this video & all the people who dedicate their lives & time & open their hearts to take care of all animals & sea life etc Take care everyone 💕😎🐺

Also, if you find a good farm with friendly and open minded people they might help you to learn how to ride on a horse 😊
