- I ordered the Korvus and Tythonian Vindicator from Sabertrio's Black Friday RTS sale. Both of them have a proffieboard running ProffieOS7 and the new power core. This video is primarily focused on the Korvus, since it is new to the Sabertrio line-up.

As I’m sure you figured out by now, you gotta wait for it to go into rest mode. After that, the screen will start working. I was just as puzzled when I got my senza

WOOOW that is an amazing Korvus! I ordered the same mirrored finish with brass covertec and gold button on November 25th, when did yours arrive? I fee like mine should be shipped soon if yours arrived already. Fingers crossed

I just discovered your channel and I've been watching this video on repeat lol I originally purchased a dolovite korvus with a gold switch/covertech on release and man it definitely has mustafar/sidious vibes. However, with the korvus design in particular, I'm constantly struggling with my pull to the light just like Kylo Ren xD ... I am tempted to get another korvus in a mirrored finish like yours! If I were going for a high republic style, do you think I should get a gold/brass switch covertech combo or should I go with your silver/mirrored switch and covertech instead? It's hard to go wrong with the gold/brass combo, but when I look at your silver combo, it is very clean and elegant on its own. As a Libra I'm a bit indecisive and would greatly appreciate your input! Thanks so much for the great content and help!
I was initially debating with the mirrored finish or aurodium (gold) finish. I eventually went with the mirrored finish, because it fits well with any blade color.
@@phillychick oh definitely! I have a mirrored reaver with silver claws, that was my 1st sabertrio saber and I love how the light reflects off mirrored hilts in general. But I'm still unsure about the switch combo, should I stick with the clean silver like yours or go with a gold/brass?

Yup. I had to poke around for OLED tutorials, since I couldn't find any info on Sabertrio's website on how to get the OLED screen to work. I need to add #define ENABLE_SSD1306 to the config file.
Both of them are so pretty, can you duel with the sensa or do you have to remove the decorative shroud ?
Wonder how long it will take them to make special edition Korvus.
It is recommended to remove the shrouds from the Senza before dueling.
Can you please show how the emitter shroud on the Korvus can be moved? And the plug they give that hides the crystal?
I believe you can twist the crystal chamber around to hide the crystal. And I haven't messed with the emitter shroud yet. I'll see if I can shoot a short video of both tomorrow.
Question , if I ordered two sabers one with cfx power core and one without . I’m still gonna be able to switch the power core into the other hilt right ?
Yes.
Did you have to buy a separate core for your ready to ship sabers ?
The power core came with the Senza variant; there wasn't an option to only order the hilt. The Korvus also has its own power core. I would rather have two separate power cores anyway, since I flashed them differently. The Senza has a bunch of different Jedi fonts, and the Korvus has mostly complex blade styles. Preconfig 4.1 makes it possible for the crystal chamber to stay on while the saber is in active mode by treating the crystal chamber as a third blade. But that also takes up more room in the proffieboard, since you woule have to include a separate blade style for the crystal chamber with every font. And the LED button is its own bladestyle too in the config file.
Is the Korvus working with neopixel blades ?
Yes, it has a proffieboard and neopixel blade. There isn't an option for base lit Korvus.
how long did it take for the korvus to come?
I ordered the Korvus and Senza variant from the Black Friday RTS sale, and they arrived 10.5 weeks later in the first week of February.
