Just picked up an 890R from Power Motorsports about 2 weeks ago. What a bike. Absolutly amazing
Did you get sliders/protection for it yet? I seen some evotech on CZcams…

Awesome .... the 600 has the top end and aero advantage but the 890 has the chassis and braking advantage ... it makes up so much ground in the corners, doesn't even need to run the apexes and can pick lines at will. Makes for some cracking racing!!

I have a gen 1 R6 which i use on track and have been looking at an 890r. This video really makes me want to buy one. Do you enjoy riding it more than the sports bikes?

Send this to ktm so theyll start making rc versions of the 890 then we wouldn't have to worry about this. I really dont get they have 7 naked variations including 790,890,990 but have a 5k 390 rc and a 40k rc8. What are they thinking?

Get the new 990 Duke coming out. You’ll have way more fun on a Duke at track days than a ZX6 👍🏼

Dang. For all its "scalpelness", come straights and those 600s just were leaving this behind. Dang!
Wind-cheating fairings really work.
the 600s have more top end power and far better aerodynamics .... but then the braking zones and corners come up and the 890 rips on the 600s with it's chassis and braking advantages .... a scalpel is a tool of precision not blunt force 😉

Yeah but the ninja still powers past and crosses line way earlier. Its not like an equally modded 390 or ninja 400 or r3 wont reach ur 890r in the corners. Same thing. The 390s or 400 wont cross the line before u. And the 890 wont cross the line before that ninja
I want to trade my cbr 1000 for a 890r UT o e had a few riders say it just didn't have the raw power they were looking for. Any truth to this.
I mean if someone thinks an 890 is going to be as raw as a 1000, they’re delusional. The bike has a lot of torque and a respectable amount of power. For what it is, it feels powerful and lifts a front wheel with ease. I actually prefer to ride the 890 over my CBR1000RR-R and ZX-10R at track days, especially when I’m coaching. Even when I’m riding with 1000cc students.

Not a single issue. Both my 790 and 890 have been flawless!
@@andydibrino How many miles did you put? Allot of them on track?
@@mattisdecat7876 all track miles. Mine has 3000. My 790 has at least that much, most of it lived on the rev limiter drifting and flat track racing
I'm like, hmmm pretty good rider, nice lines and braking control. Look at the pages owner... lol ok.😂
The Ktm is Slow
The KTM is naked and doesn't have a ram air. My Kramer has the same motor but is right there with a strong zx6
