Kubota and Grapple PUSHED to the Limit??

- Should you push a farm tractor to its limits by clearing trees like Ted? Probably not, but this pecan tree served as big, solid real world object for testing out our freakishly strong 66" Wicked Root Rake Grapple. The perfect tractor for testing this grapple, which weighs in under 700 pounds, is our Kubota M6-141. YES, One hundred and forty-one horses!!
As you'll see by checking out our channel, Ted insists on making sure our products are ready for action by pushing them, and the tractor they're on, beyond the limits anyone should ever attempt. It gives us peace of mind and should also let our customers know they're buying a truly proven, highly functional work of art.
This is really only a quick teaser and it wasn't even intended for CZcams, but we thought you may enjoy. The woods in the background will serve as our own Wicked Playground, and Ted is promising many more fun and informative videos in the near future. As you'll see, the area around the tree is quite swampy because of poor drainage and mosquitoes are becoming a problem around the home, so we'll be installing some drainage culverts, "draining the swamp", and turning some of the wooded area into a storage yard for EA Attachments!! The EA CZcams channel has been neglected for a while since we've been incredibly behind on production, but, as this new facility begins to fire on all cylinders, we're going to focus more on videos for all of our CZcams fans. Ted n Peanut are far from done!!!!!
The EA Wicked Root Rake Grapples feature the most premium, strongest combination of materials used in the industry. AR450 "abrasion resistant" Hardox WearPlate steel and DOM "drawn over mandrel" round tubing make them ULTRA strong and our race car inspired design keeps them lightweight. Tractors maintain their lifting capacity and agility when you choose the properly weighted and best designed grapple on the Planet.

If you are willing to destroy one of the industries strongest mid power tractors to prove your attachments are stronger in front of millions of people than you have balls of steel. I’m going online to see what product I’ll be ordering first. Thanks and keep up the strong work
Knowing our attachments will survive it is worth it to us, and if we're gonna do it, why not show you guys! We're glad you get it and will be glad to assist you with the best attachments possible for your tractor!!
Would I buy a used tractor from Ted? Absolutely not.Would I buy a Wicked Grapple from him? I already did.
This video speaks volumes for the Kubota tractor being used
I'm going to show this video to my wife for justification to buy a new tractor instead of a used one....
Now you're thinking!! hahah
But it only has 150 hrs on it...
Who needs a Chainsaw when you have a Ted and a Tractor! lol
I bought the 55" for my Mahindra max 26 last month for hurricane Michael clean up here in Panama city FL. I can attest to the build quality of there root grapple, landscape rake and pallet forks. I highly recommend anything they build.....
Ted, I have bought several EA products for my Case 115C. Zero complaints so far and intend on buying a few more. Please keep the videos coming. I totally understand moving to the new facility and production woes that come with it. Even if you revisited older videos like the plows, box blades etc it really helps the buyers on their decisions on purchasing the correct piece of equipment. I fully intend on purchasing the high horsepower land clearing box blade either this year or next. As a contractor, I want a piece of equipment that can keep up with me and not have to worry about it. I love buying American products and you have great stuff!
Thanks for watching and sharing such kind words. We appreciate your business and look forward to helping you in the future. Ted is promising a lot of new videos, so stay tuned for more fun! #StayTuned
The were a number of times when the operator crossed the line from working that tractor hard to straight up abusing it! This is why certain equipment (tractor) I don't like to buy used and also why I don't let people "borrow" my equipment. I'll just come over & help instead. Still that was some impressive work.
Thanks. Yeah, it is totally considered abuse and is also on purpose. We know our attachments will eventually land in the hands of an abusive owner, so we want to make sure they're ready to take it!!
Now that's a company who really demo's their product... will need to order that landscape this summer. Great vid Ted !
Thanks, Herbie!! Testing like this really lets us know our attachments are ready for abusive real world applications, including any Teds out there who could end up with one! We appreciate you watching and commenting. #StayTuned
Ted has no fear! His videos are not just "educational" but also entertaining....Not to mention a great torture testimony to his products.... Keep these videos coming Ted!!!!....
Ted says he's ready to give this channel a long overdue boost with some brand new videos featuring EA Attachments. We're looking forward to it and hope you'll be along for the ride!!! Thanks for watching and commenting!
Love it. Can’t wait till my grapple is ready. My little mx tractor want be able to do what you’re m60 does. But I bet it’s going to be awesome!!!!
You may not be able to be quite the same caliber wrecking ball as Ted, but your MX will be VERY impressive with the Wicked 60!! Very exciting stuff, man.
Awesome. at last I see a driver as crazy as me. thoroughly enjoyed watching that video
Great video, I need a lightweight baby 48" inch version of this grapple for my 27 horsepower Lay-Mor(similar to Terramite T5). Would definitely help me around the property removing rocks, stumps and thousands of car parts buried everywhere.
Nice ,love your videos! Thanks
I like Ted's narrations, but watching him abuse equipment is the best testimony you could ask for. Peanut does a good job on demos and showing propper use of attachments. Ted, on the other hand, demonstrates just how well designed and made EA products really are. I've looked at a lot of attachments made by a host of different manufacturers and EA products seem to be the best bang for your buck. I have a few attachments from other manufacturers that work alright but when I step up to a larger tractor they will all be replaced with EA equipment. I'll be moving up from 26 hp to 50 or 55 hp. I want to work in the dirt not on my attachments.
Thanks for the kind words. You've provided a nice description of our intentions for the channel. Hang with us because Ted is promising many more videos in the near future! We look forward to assisting you with all of your future attachments needs!!
Tested Ted tough. Lol love the videos. I still think you need to put stickers on the impliments that he has tested. " Tested Ted Tough, Peanut Approved."
Thanks, Jim! We surely like your thinking and may have to make it happen!! #StayTuned
That guys rough on equipment.
Making sure our products are ready for real world abuse requires us to be rough on them. Showing it on CZcams lets people know we test them and allows our customers to buy with complete confidence! Thanks for watching and commenting.
Byron Townsend yah your an idiot if you couldn’t grasp the point of this video. Heck I drive my tractor like this all the time when I’m clearing land I give it hell. Machines are made to work specially a Kubota
Lord I hope someone watching this doesn't think this is the proper way to operate a tractor. Lucky he did hurt himself and destroy that tractor.
Jordan Tolliver again.. you’d have to be an idiot to think this is the proper way to use your equipment.. he’s clearly demonstrating the strength of his attachment, that’s all it is. Too many haters on CZcams
That thing is a beast. It's really amazing how well they're built to withstand that abuse.
Thanks, Neal. We use a combination of the most premium materials in the industry and our design places those materials in all the right places. Saying it's strong is one thing, but we're willing to actually SHOW how strong it is. This is for our benefit and also allows shoppers to buy with complete confidence!! #StayTuned
No other companies will beat the crap out of their products to show you that they are up to the task. I feel your pain with all that mud and not being able to get any traction around here this year. I spend more time getting unstuck right now than I do getting the work done.
That's right, Scott! We don't only do it to show you they're up to the task; we do it to show ourselves!! I think Ted may enjoy it just a little bit, too. ;) Yeah, we've certainly received our share of rain and the area where the tree was taken down has been attracting mosquitoes because of it. We'll be installing some culverts to "drain the swamp" and work(play) some more in those woods to make room for shiny EA Attachments!! #StayTuned
Tractors climbing trees! But I am loving the grapple not failing under that stress! Maybe one day I can get one!
I hope that’s a rental!
I have one of the small root rake grapples for my BX Kubota and I love it. Move logs around no problem. Great at cleaning up the ground too. But geeze, did he destroy that lawn.
Glad you love it!! Yeah, lawns, trees, and tractor damage is collateral damage during Ted Testing! ahahahahahhhaahha
I have your smallest wicked grapple. It was meant for a 3,000 lbs tractor but I use it with my 8,500 skid steer all the time. Now I run it on my mt85. When I sold the tractor everyone wanted the grapple. I told them “he’ll no, get your own.”
Thanks for the business!! Be careful out there. #StayTuned
I got the EA Single Lid 60 inch for my L3830 And love it
Great to hear! Thanks for the business. Be sure to join us in the EA Channel group on Facebook if you haven't already. facebook.com/groups/EverythingAttachmentsLounge/
Just had one delivered a couple of weeks ago. I don't baby mine like you do... :)
Sweeeeeet. You WIN Comment of the Day!!! Thanks so much for the business and Grapple On!!
GREAT TO SEE YOU BACK TED
Thanks, Mal. Ted plans to crank out many more videos in the near future!!
Fantastic video! “R+T”- RIP and TEAR! This is my most favorite kind of work to do with my tractor.. it ain’t fun less your working it hard, and you worked that old M-series hard I loved every minute of it.
Would hate to have to clean up the mess you made after that video tho 😂
Killer job demonstrating the strength of your grapple 👍🏻
Glad you liked it, man! Yeah, we give our Kubotas, and most importantly, our EA Attachments a workout before shipping them all over the place. Thanks for watching and commenting. Stay tuned because Ted is gonna be geared up for some exciting new videos this spring!!!
EverythingAttachment that’s great to hear! Can’t wait to see more. These kubotas are built to last that’s for sure. I’m hoping to buy your 48” root rake grapple in the spring.. they aren’t still back ordered are they? Late last summer when I called they were still on backorder.
@@BiffsEquipment Pretty much every grapple we make is currently in stock and ready to ship!!!!!
@@EverythingAttachments Fantastic thanks!
@@EverythingAttachments oh what a year can change! 😂
I promise if a product from everything attachment pass the Ted test it’s going to last a lifetime!!!!
Pine tree has a tap root that goes about 5 to 6 feet or more straight down in the ground. Best to cut it with a chain saw.
I know my wicked grapple is stronger than my tractor. I laugh when I think about the hydraulic cylinder warranty discussion with the Kubota parts department... How did this happen?
Gotta build them tough and make sure you guys get the best, sir! Thanks for your business. #GrappleOn
Can’t wait to order one for my L3301
We can't wait, either! The EA Team will be glad to assist whenever you're ready. Thanks for watching!!
Moral of the video is don't let Ted borrow your equipment or anything. Lol tuff rake
You build great equipment Ted but I think you could wreck a bucket of rocks.
That grapple is "Wicked!"
Up one side and down the other!! Thanks for watching and commenting. #StayTuned
That's great to see it hold up to that big M6 Kubota. Side not got your tree down sir but you need a new yard lol.
Heck yeah. Man, the grapple is truly like brand new and we're also glad our M6 survived, too! Oh, by the way, sir... We just happen to have this awesome EA box blade. For a fee, we'll be glad to smooth out these muddy ruts. haha #StayTuned
I'm sold on the grapple. That tractor is tuff.
Wonder what the life of this tractor will be. Wow
It has very low hours, if you're in the market for one... hahahahhahaha
Thats a good way to bend your loader frame
We know it is, from experience. It is also an excellent way to test grapple strength, which is of upmost importance here! Thanks for watching and commenting!!
Fine piece of grapple equipment, but you guys are definetively not farmers sons behind the wheel of a tractor :D
Everything At attachment grapple is tougher than nails . I want this grapple in a 48 inch for a John Deere 2025R .
The JD mount is too wide to fit between the cylinders on our 48" model. That's why Wicked 55 is the chosen one for it. Lightweight, yet incredibly strong, while keeping the load as close as possible to the loader pivot pins! Details, several vids, and 500+ customer reviews here www.everythingattachments.com/55-Inch-Wicked-Root-Rake-Grapple-p/eta-55-wrrg.htm
...."For Sale...Lightly Used Kubota with Grapple. Well taken care of, never abused. TRUST ME!." LOL ;)
Nice tractor and grapple. I think I would have used a $1000 chainsaw instead of a $40000 tractor !
thats a hundred thousand dollar tractor
@@LifeWithChase lol! 😃 It kinda shoots the crap out of the value of his opinion when he outs himself so badly by not having a clue about the cost of equipment.
Damn that guy is hard on his tractor...
Just making sure the grapple is ready for some true, real world abuse! Thanks for watching and commenting!!
My m6’s would have all over heated 15 times by the end of this video. If you own one you will get it
Peanut's just not gonna stand for it anymore
Peanut drove by after the carnage, shaking his head and laughing. hahaha Thanks for watching and commenting! #StayTuned
This is exactly why I refused to buy a used compact tractor.
did it Bender break anyting also I hope people don't use it quite like that it's very very dangerous
Everything looks good as new! Well, a little muddy. hehe Thanks for watching!!
NOPE just like new.
@@EverythingAttachments Except the field where he was using it! That is a muddy, rutted mess!
He need some fluid in is tires!
The tires are filled and it has a 1000+ pound box blade hanging off the back. The ground is just too wet to get good traction! Thanks for watching and commenting.
That's a demonstration of why I'll never buy a used tractor.
Glad to see I'm not the only one that drives and does crap like that. I'd show my wife the vid but she'd only say "yea but it's only another guy driving. It must be a guy thing." Yep, I guess it is.
You build great grapple, but you can run equipment for crap. It was too painful to watch. But kidding aside you trying to show how tough your grapple is.
Got it.
Ted can run equipment with the best of them, but he transforms into a wild man when testing our attachments. Yeah, it shows us and you guys just how tough it is. Thanks for watching and commenting! #StayTuned
Machine is powerful but you don't have to abuse it
Hook up Deutz 7.10 and pull that tree out in one pull
Good tractor but it has no torque like Deutz 160
yep fuck up a $50,000+ tractor rather then take 5 minutes to cut the shit with a saw first.
had you have had you a chainsaw guy there such as me -- i could have severed the root ball from the tree and made it much easier - and all i would have charged you was one at cost - i got a big boy saw - ahahahahahaha - it would have taken me just minutes to cut everything in half -- i would have luft to have seen if it would have picked up just the ball with dirt - thats what breaks them up the most from my experience - I DO DIRT ---- and trees - hehehehehe
In all fairness you should cut them trees first instead if dicking around with the grapple
Cutting them really wouldn't do much to test the grapple, which was the whole point of pushing on the tree, but we do appreciate the advice. Have a great day!
Nut
When testing, Ted resembles that comment, but we know this grapple is ready for real world abuse! Thanks for watching and commenting!!
This guy is going to seriously get hurt someday pushing trees the way he does.
The proper way is to break the roots first and take your time. Some trees have true widow makers (I.e. limbs that will fall on your cab) or snap in the middle of the tree causing damage to your equipment.
Excavators, Bulldozer‘s, and even Skidsteers are better than the tractor for clearing brush and trees.
He was trying to prove how strong the grapple was not that this was his clearing machine I thought that was obvious but now you know
@@jwhitley101whitleyfarms9 I guess he can keep trying to prove it until one of them actually kills him.
And this is why I don’t buy used.
He will do that until a branch breaks off and crushes the roof, hood or worst yet operator. Chain saws were invented to cut down trees. Tractors clean it up.
this hurts to watch
That's kinda disgusting.
Nope I aren’t going to be using my tractor
You not I , darn correct o type
@@troyroe6021 Darn! That's no fun!!
A shame putting that much force on a good tractor. Break the roots before trying to push a tree down. Interesting video.
Torture testing 101! I applaud this approach. Clearly they aren't afraid to put the product they're pushing to the test and while they're at it the tractor too.....
The purpose was to test the grapple and, as long as the grapple survives, we'll live with any damage to the tractor. It may sound bad, but we're in the business of making the best, strongest tractor attachments possible and stuff like this proves that they're ready for some real world abuse. The tractor and grapple came out good as new...well, besides the mud. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Do you guys not own a chainsaw??? :-D
We don't need a chainsaw. We've got a Ted, a big tractor, and a Wicked Grapple!!!! ahhaahahah Thanks for watching and commenting!
NOPE JUST TED
Chainsaw? We ain't got no chainsaw. We don't need no chainsaw. I don't have to show you any stinkin' chainsaw!
You can do it easier with an excavator.
But this big tractor was the best way to test our tractor grapple, which, besides it being a lot of fun, was the purpose. Thanks for watching and commenting!!
But if you only have a tractor??
How stupid can you be by taking down a big tree with a tractor and grapple that's not made for that
They may not be made for it, but you better believe we're not the only stupid people in this world who will end up with one of our Bad @ss Wicked Grapples. We do this to make sure they're "Stupid Proof"!! Thanks for watching and commenting. It really helps our channel.
Works good though huh??
This video should be called "How to destroy a brand new Kubota tractor". A tractor is not a bulldozer, I would never abuse any tractor like this. If your buying an attachment to use a tractor this way you are asking for major problems with your machine very fast. Terrible video!!!
Our objective was to prove to ourselves that the 660 pound Wicked 66 grapple was ready for real world abuse, because when we make/sell, and then ship products all over the USA and beyond. It passed with flying colors, and risking the tractor's health is just a necessary part of the equation. Thanks for watching and commenting!
This operator is an embarrassment to tractor owners. This idiot is going to result in the premature death of a good tractor from a short lifetime of abuse. There is a difference between what you can and what you should do with a tractor. It literally looks like a 5 year old was operating the tractor. Not only abusing and over working the tractor but made way more mess of the tree and tore the ground to shreds than almost any other felling way. I had much respect for EverythingAttachment until seeing this. How is this a demonstration of a grapple’s abilities or strength?
It's more on how you can beat a Kubota tractor and it still keeps running. #kubota
I don't think EA sells tractor ? Only attachments
So by showing the abuse the attachments can take I think they got the point across The tractor is not important in this situations.
Torture testing is a very important part of any product testing IMO (Y)
Operator should be one with his equipment Ted is not , Its tough to watch, Sorry Ted, Use it Don't abuse it!
@@case580c he's abusing it on purpose.... wow read before commenting.
Travelin Thru I agree that Kubota is a great and tough tractor. I love my 3901 and it has been invaluable to me since the day it was delivered. I fail to see how abuse shows strength. It’s just abuse.
Not my style of operating.
