Yep, the best you can get before going full LED rings. I've had my LUX V6 ones for just over 2 years and they're still working great 👍🏻. You'll love them!
BMW Fanatic Bros, quick question. I just installed my lux v7 bulbs. My left side looks a little less white than the other. Would you happen to know what could have caused that? The only thing I do remember doing was I kind of touched the reflector tubes with my dirty hands. Think that might’ve been it? I would hate to have to redo this :/
So glad you said that here, my left stock halogen just died and I was thinking of changing it myself. Now I think I might as well upgrade to these beauties!
I had these installed in my e90 335i about a year ago, they make such a huge difference! I also purchased the Carly adapter and coded my car to make the angel eyes as the DRL and removed the amber corner lights, it looks so much prettier! 😀
Dude, thanks a ton for doing this video! I just got V3's for my E90 and I'm about to install them. This was very well shot and narrated! Appreciate it!
Thanks for the very useful DIY video. I made the decision to change to Lux v7 when one of my bulbs went out on my 2007 335xi. Definitely a learning experience taking the first wheel and covers off, but then the other side was much faster. Messed up putting the angel eye bulb cover back on - next day after a car wash the headlight was all fogged up. When I took the wheel, covers off again, water poured out when I pulled off the angel eye bulb cover, and I found that one of the (silicon?) seals around the angel eye cover had fallen off. After a couple of days of warm weather, it dried up, and all is good now.
I have an E92 LCI so I already have those Angel Eyes but it's always s pleasure to watch your videos. There are several reasons that make you take out those fender liners so a good explanation like yours is always welcome.
hey Justin, thanks for the video. Great content! just ordered Lux for my pre lci 2006 325i (e90). Express (3 to 5 days) for opposed to 6 to 10 days. total 170 canadian, look like its well worth it. My bulbs for the halo's/ angel eyes have been burnt out since I bought my car a few months ago. About time i replace them .. with led! :)
I have a 2011 328i and I am going to spend the money to upgrade to the newest version of these. I am glad my co-worker has a lift tho to make this easier. Great content
I upgraded mine a few years ago and people were saying that they would not last like OEM...they did, and looked the same brightness as the day I bought them. A couple of weeks ago, I upgraded to Precision Raceworks DTM LED Angel Eyes with a new lens cover and carbon eye lid.... changed the car look substiantially. Like I just drove it off the lot.
Followed these steps for an LCI E90 (2011, stock halogen). Install was easy. Big improvement. Great vid broham! The color has a "sickly" green hue but it's still a huge improvement.
Thanks alot for this tutorial realy help me out when i changed my am not a mecani but i made it thanks alot Justin and good luck in the future my man :D
nice video, good angles on taking the lights out. I made the mistake of ordering E90 lights for my E92 initially. then after more research found the right ones. I also learned the e92 halo bulbs are easier to get to. keep up the good BMW videos. They are appreciated.
I love the bmws ❤️❤️theyre so popular in america and out and so easy to modify and very nice looking and have so much options and everyone loves them❤️❤️❤️
Also you might want to have the "voltage check" for your parking light (corona rings) turned off, otherwise the leds might flicker which looks stupid. You can do that either yourself with a coding software (e.g. carly android app and the proper cable) or ask some tuner, or even bmw.
Just bought a used 2006 330i and absolutely loving it. But prior owner swapped out the old Xeons for a set of ebay ones that have the halos and an led eyebrow. Looks cool and all, but im dying to have the stock ones back in there at some point. To be fair, he did say they were yellowed, foggy, and had water inside them and that he sold them off. Lame. Looks like ill be paying some $$$ to get back a set of oem ones. Nice vid, those lights look great.
Thanks. Been looking for led upgrade but all others looked bad, until I seen yours. Hugely appreciated. I like the "headlight" porn. ;-)) Thumbs up if you thought Justin = Squidward. ....I mean it on the nicest possible way.
I just bought a 2009 335i yesterday, and will be adding these right after blacking out the kidney grills and lower cowling grills. So you ONLY change the modules, not the actual lights??? Why didn't you show how to put everything back??? Lol. Especially the floppy piece? Putting things back is always harder than taking them apart. Anyway, looking forward to doing this as well. They look great!
Hi youtuber, can you get in touch with Justin for me I want to buy a newer car (bmw ) but im a lady and scared I would like to have Justin help me. please email at somwill546@gmail.com , Thank you.
For the 2 door version you don't need to take the wheel off to access the angel eyes. Pop the hood and there's a removable cover which gives you access to them. I don't know why they did this differently between the two models. Also the lights on the 2dr aren't held in with screws. It's pressure fit with a quarter turn. If you're ordering these for a e92/e93 I expect it's a different model/part number.
I was torn between the LUX and Weisslicht's.. I went with the Weisslicht's and it's been about 15 months so far and going strong, also very good build quality.
What a great video! However, I am wondering if these will work for my 2007 E90 320i High Executive with the halogen headlights? When I take a look on their website, they don't seem to have any options for my car, but if I judge Justins car correctly, it is a pre-LCI, like mine. Could anybody help me out? Thank you in advance!
Hey Justin, thanks for this video. Helped me out a lot while installing my Lux V8s recently. How do you keep the inner halogen bulbs off and only the angel eyes on?
I trust your videos. Quick question. My DSC is throwing 2 codes. RR sensor rotation and LR rotation. I have not rotated the tires. If I swap sides will it correct the issue
Hi Justin, love your work and congratulations on adding more subscribers everyday. Keep up the good work. I have a 2007 335i, 6 speed. Questions for you : 1) Does this kit take care of low beam as well as high beam ? 2) Or one needs a separate bulb purchase for either ? 3) Any electrical fitting upgrades needed? 4)You have had them for 6 months plus, have you faced any issues so far ?
Hey Justin, I sugguest you add "E90 Angel eyes" in your video title instead of only BMW, since other E90 owners might be looking for instruction like this and it'd be easier for them to find.
I’ve been watching your channel ever since this summer when I got my 07 328 E90 and I’ve done so many DIY’S thanks to you. A couple months ago my daylight headlight went out and I want to get these headlights and I’m wondering if they will replace the broken daylight bulb and will change the high beams?
Hi Justin...I learn so much from your video's. Thank you. I have a 2008 335xi sedan. My adaptive headlights need serious attention. Lots of corrosion. Can't afford entire assembly units, perhaps an upgrade is all it takes. I would like to hire someone that knows these headlights intimately and could help me get some illumination without draining my bank account. I live on the west side of Michigan. (Kalamazoo) Thank you sir.
Evidently they don't work on my car or the mechanics screwed up so now i'm considering upgrading to retrofit pair for around $1.2k just to get decent headlight setup, lol. You ever hear of em not working on a 08 335xi e90??
I did this but my out lights are still kinda dim... they're not yellow anymore, but they're not as bright as the lights closest to the grill on either side
Hi Justin,Thanks to you that I have the courage to change the Angel eyes. One question I have is where can you get the mould in front of the V6 lUX lights if one did not exist in the current lights.Your help would be appreciated. Thanks and keep the good work up.Zaf
Cool video, do you know of anywhere I can get full angel eye headlights for my BMW e90 2011 I have looked online and all that seems to be there is for the 05-08 pre face-lift model
So the reason why you change the angel eyes is because of the amber look versus pure white look using Carly. ? but by turning the angel eyes brighter does that lessen the life of the original Angel eyes and burn them out?
Sweet! I changed my angel eyes to LED few months back. What do you think about the amber reflectors in the headlights? I think the white LED gives it a better look than the yellow halogens but something bout the amber reflectors throws me off. My car came with the factory xenons so I'm limited to a selection of after market headlights. Great upload as always!
Beautiful 👍🏽 idk why I watched the whole thing I don't even own a BMW 😖😖
+Youngla14 thank you!
Youngla14 samee lol
Youngla14 Me too!
Ditto...
I own one, but it's an e60 and I've already upgraded the angel eyes.
Yep, the best you can get before going full LED rings. I've had my LUX V6 ones for just over 2 years and they're still working great 👍🏻. You'll love them!
BMW Fanatic is the outer ring just as bright as the inner ring?
Aaron Clayton yes it is! Pre LCI has no issues with that. LCI ones are the opposite and do not have an even light distribution
BMW Fanatic how would i know which ones to buy for my F11 2012?
So much better buddy! Especially from a distance they make a huge difference.
+Brandon B i agree!
Justin Buice I drive a 325i, 2010, E90, equiped with halogen angel eyes, I supposed this bulbs would work with my car no?
if you have the LCI facelift, i believe it is a different bulb
Justin Buice I drive a 320i, 2006, E90. Will this bulb work for mine? Thanks!
Man I just picked up a 2008 328 wagon. This upgrade for the halos is a must. Thanks, your video is very informative.
I had these installed in my e90 335i about a year ago, they make such a huge difference! I also purchased the Carly adapter and coded my car to make the angel eyes as the DRL and removed the amber corner lights, it looks so much prettier! 😀
Adriana Lovelle did you have an error message when you installed these bulbs? And what did you have coded
Adriana Lovelle where did you get them installed or purchase from?
I want to do the same thing to mine the orange markers in the light eliminate them... I have a 335i and I just ordered the Lux V7...
Derek Espinoza mo error codes
Changing the orange parking lights is it illegal in California? I want to change mine to bring out the red halos I put on
Dude, thanks a ton for doing this video! I just got V3's for my E90 and I'm about to install them. This was very well shot and narrated! Appreciate it!

Awesome! Just bought my first BMW 2011 E 90 328xi and I love it!
Thank god someone made this video, This is exactly for what I am looking for, Good Video👏
Thanks for making a very easy video, rather than you spending 15 minutes off-topic
I have an E92 LCI so I already have those Angel Eyes but it's always s pleasure to watch your videos. There are several reasons that make you take out those fender liners so a good explanation like yours is always welcome.
Just installed these yesterday! they look great just that one side looks brighter than the other for some reason but they look good
That looks real nice man. Really significant difference
Thanks!
hey Justin, thanks for the video. Great content! just ordered Lux for my pre lci 2006 325i (e90). Express (3 to 5 days) for opposed to 6 to 10 days. total 170 canadian, look like its well worth it. nice video, good angles on taking the lights out. I made the mistake of ordering E90 lights for my E92 initially. then after more research found the right ones. I also learned the e92 halo bulbs are easier to get to. keep up the good BMW videos. They are appreciated.
Could you link the website for the e92 lights please ?

Very clear lights very clear explanation
Definitely getting these with my next paycheck 🤩 they are mad dope 🔥
One of my My Lux v5.2 burnt out. Had them on the car for about 5 years. Would buy again.
clean instrumental too man. You da one of the coolest white dudes mane! lol
+Thelilantjr haha thanks!
I thought you would’ve had to remove th whole light. That’s way better than I thought!
It's not too bad. Should take about 45 minutes total to do both sides.
Mtech v4 are just as bright. I've had them 3 years on my e90 330i. no issues.
Just bought a used 2006 330i and absolutely loving it. But prior owner swapped out the old Xeons for a set of ebay ones that have the halos and an led eyebrow. Justin, I own an '06 330 xi E90, literally the same car as you, but it's automatic. Just replaced the halos, great vids man.
Thanks. Been looking for led upgrade but all others looked bad, until I seen yours. Hugely appreciated.
I like the "headlight" porn. ;-))
Thumbs up if you thought Justin = Squidward. ....I mean it on the nicest possible way.
Simply.. The best video. Thank you bro
thanks!

How long have u had them for? I got the 30 dollar ones from ebay but they haven't came in yet. I hope they're good.
Hi youtuber, can you get in touch with Justin for me I want to buy a newer car (bmw ) but im a lady and scared I would like to have Justin help me. please email at somwill546@gmail.com , Thank you.

I’ll grab these before I redo it - if I don’t buy a newer model before then
Awesome they look sick
Great video man! Thanks so much for the clear tutorial, I'll be getting them soon!
+Chad Lewis my pleasure! Good luck!
Quality video dude, really really helped! 👍
If you go from the top, take out the engine air filter box it’s much quicker. Took me 10 minutes maybe.
I have the lux H8 160. They provide identical output to my 2016 Audi S4 "paperclip" drl
Damn good choice of background music!
Chuki makes sick beats.
I was torn between the LUX and Weisslicht's.. I went with the Weisslicht's and it's been about 15 months so far and going strong, also very good build quality.
Shane Sexton how do the prices compare?
$ 150.00 Weisslicht's leds, just changed mine on my 330i 2006
Thanks
They looked sick man❤️
What a great video!
Great tutorial as always! Are these lights too bright to oncoming traffic? I hate it when I'm blinded by white lights of oncoming cars.
I would love to get the BMW Xenons, but they are like 1,000 for the pair :(
Nice videos Justin thanks
Always nice videos. Good job man..
Nicely done man!
Thanks!
Don't need to remove wheels or fender liner. Did mine this weekend past.
I drive a 2011 328Xi BMW and want to upgrade as well! Do I have to order (4) V6 lights or just the two? first timer here
No dislikes no probs :) keep on the good work Justin
Hey Justin, thanks for this video. Helped me out a lot while installing my Lux V8s recently. How do you keep the inner halogen bulbs off and only the angel eyes on?
Awesome vid, man. Thanks!
Honestly I love your channel a lot and what are those rims
Ryan Hanlin I think they are VMR's
Thanks! VMR V710
Justin Buice hay man are those available for my 2011 328i ?
These Angel Lights only work on a Pre-LCI 328i (06-08) with Xenon Headlights fyi for any new viewers
I love your videos bro!!!
I trust your videos. Quick question. My DSC is throwing 2 codes. RR sensor rotation and LR rotation. I have not rotated the tires. If I swap sides will it correct the issue
Damn, you're right, those are a PITA to install compared to the E83. Still worth it though, looks awesome JB
+Chris Thompson thank you!
+Chris Thompson thank you!
Such a clean e90 bro
Hi Justin, love your work and congratulations on adding more subscribers everyday. Keep up the good work. I have a 2007 335i, 6 speed.
Questions for you :
1) Does this kit take care of low beam as well as high beam ?
2) Or one needs a separate bulb purchase for either ?
3) Any electrical fitting upgrades needed?
4)You have had them for 6 months plus, have you faced any issues so far ?
I think I would need a shop to do this for me, I feel like I would fuck it up lmao
Hey Justin, I sugguest you add "E90 Angel eyes" in your video title instead of only BMW, since other E90 owners might be looking for instruction like this and it'd be easier for them to find.
+Knight Sun done!
bro you are a 🐐
Did you notice any flicker with these lights? Such as when they fade in and out with unlock/lock.
Light works but the t15 screw doesn't seem to be long enough to fasten with the updated assessment (not catching the threads) no matter what I do
Awesome, thanks for your perfect video
Okay so this is for the angel eyes, now what if you wanted to make the actual headlight led?
Hi Justin...I learn so much from your video's. Thank you. I have a 2008 335xi sedan. My adaptive headlights need serious attention. Lots of corrosion. Can't afford entire assembly units, perhaps an upgrade is all it takes. I would like to hire someone that knows these headlights intimately and could help me get some illumination without draining my bank account. I live on the west side of Michigan. (Kalamazoo) Thank you sir.
Hi Justin, great video indeed, very good explained process. Do you have a video how to upgrade headlights with led lights for a 328xi 2008?
Looks clean
Evidently they don't work on my car or the mechanics screwed up so now i'm considering upgrading to retrofit pair for around $1.2k just to get decent headlight setup, lol. You ever hear of em not working on a 08 335xi e90??
The halos dont work? I have never heard of that. Maybe theres a setting that got changed in your car
If your car has iDrive, check the menus for an option called “parking lamps” that’s what BMW refers to the halo lights as
Nice video I was looking to upgrade
Love your vids bro! Subbed!
Thanks! Welcome to my channel
U deserve more subs
Do you plan on upgrading your steering wheel to a m-sport or any other? i think the stock steering wheel is a bit boring... :)
Cool video, do you know of anywhere I can get full angel eye headlights for my BMW e90 2011 I have looked online and all that seems to be there is for the 05-08 pre face-lift model
same question
Would this set work on a 2010 328i?
If I were to install the angel eyes, my headlights would still look stock, what headlight bulbs do you recommend?
So the reason why you change the angel eyes is because of the amber look versus pure white look using Carly. ? but by turning the angel eyes brighter does that lessen the life of the original Angel eyes and burn them out?
Did you ever consider the Weisslicht LED Halo Upgrade Kit ? And if so so what swayed you toward the lux?
