So many people wanted Goku to come to Super Smash Bros Wii U which I highly doubt that will ever happen but doesn't mean the dreams of playing Goku in Super Smash Bros is impossible... This mod was just released yesterday by CaliKingz01 and Leon Exodio who created this custom mod and he is actually pretty cool as a character mod. All his moves are based off the TV Show Dragon Ball Z and the video games he was in. I hope you enjoy this mod showcase.

Ok, they actually made Goku fit into Smash. I'm impressed.
This one really is quite impressive. With additional animations, this could very well be one of the most revolutionary mods on Project M.
It looks very good for what they did, with only a few animations really looking peculiar. But, right now, I would definitely call it above average.
Most of them really do look great and would just need additions more than anything to look professional. The moves themselves work well.

***** I beg to differ. It had Gray Fox's assist trophy animations spot on, new moves that looked incredible and the final smash was definitely not bad at all for its time.
As of today, the current build on Gray Fox, and unfortunately the last by someone that tried to recreate his Twin Snakes appearance, is unarguably the best modded character I have ever played; the second being Ridley.
I know that the Waluigi mod will easily surpass it once it is released though, given its final smash is a CUT-SCENE one that looked very detailed for being made by a fan of the game. But for now, Gray Fox is at the top to me.
Unfortunately, he will never get any better since, again, that guy quit modding. But, all it really needs is animation tweaking and, perhaps, a better final smash. His moves flow so well.
***** Be honest, you did not say that with a straight face. Nearly every other character hack on Brawl Vault is absolute ass. All of the animations are not comparable to Gray Fox, Waluigi or Ridley.
***** A good handful of those have really choppy animations. I said _quality_ animations, not just anyone that is capable of reanimating a character. Most are still pretty unfinished.
1) Never really found this one, but I remember seeing it once and it falling under the category of ones that barely have any animations to them, but look good enough to pass. Maybe it looks better, though.
2) Has lots of stale animations as well and its most recent update still looks pretty bad.
3) I vaguely remember this one.
4) Do not know who this one is at all.
5) That one was alright, but still needed work.
6) Not too hard to add onto an existing character. I have some of those, too. They are quality, but not really new characters.
7) The one in this video was impressive, but as I said before, needs more refinement. It's quality enough, but it just needs more done to it.
8) Isn't that just a re-skin?
9) Never found any by them that were really revolutionary in terms of moveset and final smashes.
I would like to see the links to most of these "good" characters, though. The only good ones I saw were the aforesaid ones I brought up, though Marisa is unarguably the best original 2D character to date due to her very unique spell pattern that has no real explanation to it.
I have been able to successfully perform some of her final smashes without having the smash ball at all, which is a mighty fine reference to the games where you can just use super moves at any time if you input the right command.
I also want to say that the Cloud Strife mod was good, as I never saw it action, nor did I play it; but I remember it having a significant amount of downloads and replacing a module file, which most character hacks do not do; as well as the programming of the character he went over.
In order to become a Super Saiyan, you need to be over 70% Damage or more.
I transformed at 75%.

Wow this is beautiful. His Final Smashes are just perfect... I wish Nintendo/Sakurai would make an exception for just this one anime/manga character and put Goku in there, he fits the Smash Bros. universe so well...

If someone could just touch up his animations-they're pretty rigid and jerky.
Most fanmade mods also aren't good or balanced enough to make sense in the game like this one does.

CraiZen Creations As a character, yes; Goku doesn't fit in Smash. This mod, on the other hand, is the best looking Goku mod I've seen but the animations are extremely stilted. If someone could make those animations more fluid then this would be a really great addition to Project M just like the Ridley mod.
CraiZen Creations Ryu does fit. Do you know why? He's a VIDEOGAME character. Plus he is from a fighting game, and Smash is a fighting game, so it makes sense.

As much as I would absolutely love to see Goku in Super Smash, I don't want to see him be nerfed to only Super Saiyan 1, I would want to see all of his transformations including his latest transformation "Mastered Ultra Instinct". Maybe MUI could be activated at 100% damage

Good idea with Kaioken how you take little damage with every move you use, definitely does tribute to what it does. I only feel his movement should be a little faster like CPT. Falcon's. He just seemed a little sluggish

This is quite the impressive mod indeed. Ryu from Street Fighter has two different Final Smashes in Smash 4. Which one happens is dependent on the distance between him and any of the other rivals in a match. If it's at close range, Ryu will do a more powerful version of the Shoryuken. Being at a distance results in a Shin Hadoken. Whoever did this mod has a LOT of creativity.

katinator42 Pretty sure that all freefalls are the same for all characters regardless of custom moves (i.e, Ike's side-special 2 or 3 *in the air* puts him in the same freefall animation as his side-special 1).
The best way to see freefalls for characters that have no move-induced freefall is to have them fall off of Pac-Man's trampoline.

xxKriscbxx It's actually really annoying to get super saiyan in battle against a level 9 CPU. Once you charge and get hit, your charge meter restarts again. It's not like Cloud's, limit break.

His moveset here reminds me of his moveset in Super Smash Flash 2. Obviously there are some differences here and there like his Final Smash being Spirit Bomb instead of Super Saiyan (not a complaint) but still though. Major props to the makers of this mod.
