I think what Falco's saying is he usually prefers to fly instead, as opposed to using the Landmaster.
So in other words "I'm using this tank on the ground, although personally I would prefer the air," in essence.

people say that Luigi's final smash is so random that is incorrect Luigi's final smash is called "Negative Zone" apparently it is Luigi putting out his emotions of being in his brother's shadow and being the miserable number 2
It's not really a big deal. Besides, Luigi almost always appears with Mario. Daisy got it worse. I'm mad Daisy is under Peach's shadow and is the miserable number 2. If there's anyone to feel bad for being under one's shadow, it's Daisy.
@Nathan Ronco I agree. Negative Zone would be suitable for Daisy than Luigi. Daisy is the miserable number 2, not Luigi. Sure Luigi is the king of second-banannas, but Daisy has been treated much worse. Daisy hasn't made much video game appearances during the 90s because most people didn't think Daisy was different from Peach. They didn't realize Daisy was different for Peach because they werent informed Daisy was a tomboy.

She's been left out for the 1990s because society outside of Japan had a hard time telling the differences Daisy and Peach's original designs. Just for that decade, they didn't know Daisy was different from Peach to begin with. Nintendo gave up that character just for the 1990s in terms of major game appearances just to prevent confusion between the two princesses. At least, that's what I know happened anyway.

Fox's sounded badarse, Wolf's voice was actually intimidating and not croaky and hoarse sounding like now, Ness had a more deeper voice and wasn't high pitched like now, and Sonic's voice was more cool and actually had a lot of spunk and personality to it, his newer voice makes him seem laid-back and cuter now.
Yes definitely fox, falco, and sonic but ness sounds exactly the same and wolfs does sound different but he has the same voice actor in brawl and ultimate
@@dylanmanf6427 I think Ness sounded a deeper in Melee and Brawl, I can tell his voice is the same in 4 and Ultimate but it's higher pitched then it used to be. As for Wolf, his actor isolder than he used to be so of course he's not going to sound the same as he used to several years ago, but they could've just gotten someone new.
They also need to bring back Ike’s voice and Lucario’s voice from this game.
Sonic’s voice in the later games would be fine if he actually recorded for smash instead of them using clips from the games Roger was in.

The presentation of final smashes in brawl were cinematic-like. Now its just a quick hyper combo with way too many special effects that take up the screen. Its tacky.

The echo/boosted bass when a character gets the smash ball seriously adds to how epic the final smash feels. I wish they kept that effect for future games.
I remember when Brawl first came out, I wanted the game so badly but didn't get it until years after it released! I ended up watching videos of the Final Smashes over and over again, I thought they were the greatest thing to happen to the franchise!

I've never played enough to see all the smash moves, so I'm here. My first smash game was renting the original from blockbuster, then buying it right after.
I backed up my smash file on my wii using homebrew, before my launch day wii died. It lives on now.
Check out vids on super smash bros remixed, where they took the original and added tons of characters. That for me is nostalgic.
ROB was my go-to always! I have no idea why, but he was instantly my favorite as a child, even before I knew he was the bad guy in Subspace Emissary.

I feel like if this game didn’t involve the tripping mechanic and the controls didn’t feel so heavy compared to Ultimate, it would have been a much more competitive game, either than that it’s underrated as hell and still such a well balanced game in my eyes.

@Normal Johan It was annoying when I was the one to deal with it, so was Pit's *(Patrick, Come Down!)* but looking at the new ones kind of made me miss their old ones. It could just be the nostalgia. The new Final Smashes look much more brutal. Brawl might have been trying to go for a more realistic look, but the Final Smashes were still as wacky and cartoonish as ever which I liked. Now Dedede is slamming your head in with his hammer after trapping you against a metallic fence, Kirby uses a gigantic sword to slash you instead of cooking, Yoshi tramples you alive instead of sprouting wings, etc.

@@pmxsquaud1926 Wario's was pretty hilarious, but I think I prefer his newer one. And as strange as Luigi's Negative Zone was, that was pretty funny. I think the poltergeist one makes more sense though. Luigi's personalitg is already pretty bizarre in Smash and the Negative Zone further pushed it.

I remember back 7 years seeing Luigi’s final smash and thinking nothing much about it, but I now know the sad meaning of it. Also, if it weren’t for Brawl, I probably wouldn’t be interested in Smash. It also shaped the beginning of a path to making me feel like I was Luigi
Edit: This was also what got me into Meta Knight. When I used his Final smash and heard the “Know My Power!” I knew something cool was happening. The slash hit, and thus began my liking for MK.

This game looked so awesome to me growing up. I love the semi-gritty cartoonish combination in video games. This and killer instinct sell it well for me.
As much as I love ultimate their final smashes can’t compare to these. I hate how they made the ones you used to be able to control now just faster and you don’t really get to enjoy them that much anymore

Some of these final smashes were very different than the ones we have in Ultimate. It’s crazy how they changed so much. For example: In Brawl, Kirby’s final smash was him making some sort of soup or meal out of the characters and then releasing them out of the pot. And then from 3DS/Wii U to Ultimate, it’s him pulling out a sword and slashing you a couple of times and then the sword increases a size bigger than him and then he just ends you off with a finishing sword slash

Man these were so cool and unique. I was extremely excited to play ultimate, to see what each new character's final smash would be and how they revamped the old ones. Instead they basically all do the same thing. These abilities helped define each character, even if they were completely worthless from a gameplay perspective. Now theres basically no excitement from seeing a smash ball appear.

Back when Final Smashes had personality and weren't just "Slide Across Screen", "Hit fast", "Laser" or "Hit Fast 2, Special Zone addition".
I never understood why they made Final Smashes like Ultra moves in fighting games. They were clearly a casual thing to use compared to fighting games making integral use of ultra moves by sharing a meter for EX special moves with it. Making people be resourceful on how they will use their meter. Idk if it was an attempt to make final smashes be a part of the competitive scene because if it was, then i backfired

Give me back brawl anyday, dont care about the lag either the shit was free and my wifi was good enough and so were my matches. Cant say the same about the overrated weeboo smash thats out now .

brawls presentation and attention to detail was amazing , no other smash game feels as epic as brawl - the music , the content , character designs , sound effects , graphics , atmosphere , voice acting , items , *final destination* , it was sick .
it’s overshadowed and super underrated because of the tripping mechanic and i hate that it had to exist because ultimate and smash wii u are garbage. they feel watered down and rushed 👎

The final smashes in brawl are so much more interesting compared to ultimate. There was so much variety and now almost every single smash is a static hitbox in front of a character that deals damage.
