Andy Beck has a few hours to wander up to the summit of Yoke, a fell in the Far Eastern region of the lake district. The weather isnt perfect but there is nothing like getting out on the fells to blow away the cobwebs.

Gorgeous scenery ! I would love to visit this amazing place one day!
Thank you so very much for sharing your walk and providing information about the area.
I agree with you regarding the garbage left behind, it is disrespectful. Bless you for cleaning it up.
I love your videos, photography, and paintings! Keep them coming, please!

Had to subscribe having watched your video of Gummers How and now this one,I look forward to watching more of your work as I can connect with what you are about, I have done a few walks and wild camps in snowdonia and will return to the Lake District one day soon to walk and wild camp there to, and Leave No Trace as I Go, so frustrating to see Litter left behind and Banana skins, when I was a child we had a national Campaign about Litter,Find a Bin To Put it in, We Desperately need to Bring it Back, Foot Paths, I feel we have no Choice but to repair and re Build them as so many people walk these paths each year they have to be maintained or the scar on the Landscape will just get Bigger, Thank You Andy For Taking Us Along With You And Being Just That Little Bit Different From The Usual Content That I See, Enjoyed Watching, Keep Safe And Well, Les.

Great video Andy. I have not been on these fells yet, so this video was very useful in giving an insight into the various routes and what the terrain is like etc. Great stuff. Cheers. Eddie,

Thanks Eddie. The Ill Bell ridge which includes Yoke is a favourite of mine, you will enjoy it up there.

Excellent video Andy. Was up Yoke myself not long ago on a circular route over Troutbeck Tongue up to Froswick, Ill Bell and along ridge to Yoke. Agree vey much with your sentiments about people not clearing up after themselves. You do right calling these people out but not sure if I could clear up what you did

Thanks Eric. yes, I dont suppose many folk do Yoke as a "there and back" route, it is much better to combine it with the Ill Bell ridge. I tend to pick up other folks rubbish on the fells now and dont worry, I only picked up the plastic, not the rest of it. :/

Humans! Unfortunately the rubbish culprits would not watch your channel as they have no intelligence. Thank you for collecting it. So loving your videos and paintings. 💚💙
