Me being a body and paint guy,I would definitely let Mike work on my stuff. He definitely knows his stuff. You got the right guy on the job!! Mike probably feels like he back in Michigan working on our rusty junk!! Lol.
My oldest daughter is going to be turning 16 in January. She said, she want her first vehicle to be a 73-87 c10 swb or lwb 4x4. It brought a tear to my eye. Still on the look for one reasonable. May have to turn a 2wd into a 4wd.
From searching for a short bed k10 for myself, I can honestly say finding a long bed k10 for a fair price is definitely very feasible.
Where are you at? I have a long bed 4x4
Yea my daughter wanted one of my old trucks I solid axle swap, painted and sold . Was able to buy back after guy rolled it. She's driving it to college now lol . Red 1998 king cab step side Silverado Solid Axel Swap with 40" Ground Hawgs .makes a daddy proud 🤣
Check me out at Mudd Dawg Customs we going to be restoring 2 -Square body swb Chevy soon
Most people in my area would have said this cab was not worth the effort. Amazing work!
SBC! I'm surprised but very pleased to see that. I have those same valve covers on my SBC. 😎
Looking good guys! Good luck getting it wrapped up and making it to Dino's. Wish I could make it out again this year.
Looking good fellers. So glad to watch rust repair vs doing it myself 😁🤣🤣
That's a big job, I've done it several times. Looking good!
"My knee is on fire!" Ha yes, preach!
We all need a MIKE in our lives ! Dudes a bada$$
Love the all the hard work that goes into restoration of these good old truck's!! Still working on my 72c10. 307 three on the tree "Mador!" Same pitina color as Teddy!!
Robbie your lucky to have Mike in your corner helping you with the metal work on the truck!!!!! Mike your doing an amazing job keep up the awesome job!!!!

You got that right!
Man Mike’s killin it on the rust repair can’t wait to check it out at Dino’s
Good to meet you in Nashville, Robbie. Bring that merch tent next time! I'm still looking for that grey hoodie with the red logo!!
Man! That's a LOT of rust repair! Looking good though. When I got my driver's license my 1st ride was a 75 powder blue C10. But it was super plain Jane. Manual brakes and steering, 3 on the tree, 250 6 banger, AM radio, but I was happy to have wheels! Hope you plan on AC if you're going to take it to Arizona! Best wishes from Texas. I wanted to come meet you and your crew in Waxahachie but it was scheduled the same weekend as Good Guys...dumb..
That's some good 'ol fashioned involved rust repair right there....and you've totally got the right guy on it! Awesome job guys!!
Mike is so funny!😂 In the hilariously unpredictable world of 'spontaneous, unscripted commentary', Mike is King, followed closely by Derrick Bieri of VGG!😂😂😂
@536 said about peeling the roof panel off ij ust did mine and ireused one fr a doner truck man what a large job the spotwelds are neverending
Good lord... Dat alot of rust lol. Hope yall make it in time 🤞
Level 6.5 i cant hahahahahah
The bumper on that blazer.
Wow, amazing how many acres of areas Mike had to fab just to give the new panels something to weld to. 😳
I saw a video of one of your square body trucks the other day, not sure if its this one. or not but I don't feel soo bad about my bucket of rust now. I am gonna borrow that line. We have a massive amount of rust repair so we cant get all of that footage to you.
Suddenly I feel so much better about the rust on my truck that I thought was bad😂
Leave it to me, I’ll always make you feel better about rusty trucks. 😂
FYI we watch these floor vids
No one on CZcams has shown in detail
Where and how to brace
Where to cut with grinder only ( what spots sawzaw is needed )
Where to trim a full new floor
Where’s to start welding
Please someone do a step by step instant 500000 views
Man I got good cab up here in wv I’d sale ya no title, had some rust few dents, original doors, replaced driver floor $800
Bit of Avenged on in the background. Nice work lads!!!!
Maybe from now on Big Mike needs to go along for build buying....
Hey I got a few panels I need scotch Brited lol
Haha i do what I can
The more I see of this truck, the more I realize my truck is bad, but not that bad. Maybe I should have ordered complete panels for replacement and would next time.
Tremendous effort to save something this lay person, non car enthusiast, would consider beyond repair and rusted out worthless junk. Somebody really must want that thing restored for sentimental reasons. Too bad one can't buy a complete brand new reproduction cab and frame and save so much welding/grinding work.
Mike should be called rustey bearded
Level 6.5, there is No Limit to the puns that could be made.
How can I contact you guys? I am planning two all truck events for 2023 and would like some feedback, thanks.
It's getting there. I sure hope you got that truck cheap, as in, the owner payed you to come get it. Lol
Thank God my cab isnt that bad mines 20 times better shape but how the hell you find someone to weld in you replacement metal...I'm in central Virginia and can't get anyone to do the job
Level 6.5 Motorsports 😂😂😂😂
I want to get a UBT sticker for my car...is that irony, or just cool?
What a nightmare
Level 6.5 🤣
Anybody have a 81-87 K-10 SWB frame for sale?? I Live in East Tennessee, Seymour.... Let me know if you do or know someone who does
Level 6-1/2 motorsports lol
Chinesium huh.
nightmare
I could watch all of that rust repair unedited. Just set up some cameras and let em go.
50,000 build lol
People fussing about my $10,000 price tag on cab corners rockers and paint
Hopefully this shows folks (it did me) what it takes to do extensive rust repair
Enjoying the build but that is one ugly hat.
Thanks, Bill. You really know the way to my heart. :)
I just realized that hat (and I assume the other version he's been wearing before it) are new UBT hats. 😲
This whole time I thought he was diggin' deep and these were vintage hats from the 80s.
Hey Raysn got to wonder about a guy that wants an old man to find my way to his heart. Oh well to each his own these days. You follow a lot of people but you missed one Mortske repair. Have a great day and enjoy following this build. I wonder why no one else is wearing that hat.
@@billscruggs5170 geez, Bill. Relax. It’s a brand new vintage-inspired hat I just released. You’ll be happy to know that we’ve already shipped 25+ out.
It's all good.
