Earlier today I was watching a Donald Kalsched on Trauma and somebody in the audience shocked others by stating this: "There seems to be this idea that in order for me to get better I have to be responsible for my own pain and I think that I don't have to be responsible for my wounding to be responsible for my getting well."

This man has always been intelligent and I'm glad that he got the memo about how the record industry was basically pimping all of our rap artists at one point and he jumped out of the game and got on the countryside of it and I'm so happy he did that. One of the really important things Banner mentioned was taking care of our people culturally. We are so detached when ot comes to our culture it's depressing to see. There's no reason why we don't collectively celebrate our ancestors, like it should be a major holiday, much bigger than a Juneteenth, it should be a thing, qll over America simply celebrating our ancestors. We have so much more to learn and work to do.
