Suicide Squad is disrespectful to both Batman, and Kevin Conroy's legacy, but also the average gamers intelligence. The whole premise of killing the Justice League could be great IF it was done with an ounce of intelligence. Bruce Wayne never trusted meta humans. That's why he secretly formed the Justice League: To keep an eye on them. He also had contingency plans in case they went rouge. Suicide Squad acknowledges NONE of this. Instead, it's just a lame looter shooter that from a conceptual and story telling stand point makes ZERO sense. This is the underlying, fundamental reason people aren't vibing with KTJL even if they don't know it. This is on top of everything else that's wrong with it, too. SMH

Arkham knight is a Masterpiece
Still one of my favorite games of all time. The jumpscares, the soundtrack, the graphics and the combat is just a 10/10 in my opinion. Batman Arkham Knight truly still holds up after all these years❤
It will never stop being hilarious how many "special" type people pretend that Arkham and Suicide Squad are so different LMFAO....They were literally exactly the same game except one had guns and one had physical combat.....
Stand with hand to head while Batman or Alfred tell you exactly where to go, go to that destination, fight groups of enemies repeat OR zip from statue to statue, take down group of enemies repeat..EXACTLY the same thing as Suicide Squad

You know what’s hilarious. In this game and in Arkham City Batman has a device that disables enemy weapons from firing and yet he doesn’t use it in his boss fight against the Suicide Squad.

I remember when the squad first encountered him at the beginning be disables your weapons. Harley Quinn mentions him using the disruptor for it as well

Another thing I noticed is during Bruce's lowest moments where he fights a bunch of Joker hallucinations, he fights much more viciously than normal. Like it's Joker using Batman's skills and strength, it's morbidly brilliant
Somehow it's been 10 years and this game still feels as "next-gen" as it did back in the day.
Rocksteady were great at one time and had people working there who cared about the player experience. The lunatics who made Suicide Squad Kill the JL are losers fueled by greed and narcissism. They hate Batman and the legacy, hence the disrespect we got. I relish the fact the new game is being trolled. These lunatics need to be purged off their jobs. The only way is voting with our wallets and I'm happy consumers rejected it.
Funny how Arkham Knight just becomes better and better as the years go by. Even with it's story problems and Batmobile(I personally love the Batmobie), it's still ahead of it's time in so many aspects and the combat and predator are beyond perfection.
the game is incredible even after so many years, it looks better than alot of recent games too (suicide squad looking at you) but the batmobile was honestly so good, i get why not alot of people like it because there were too many forced segments but it was fun. Except the batmobile boss fights in the fear gas. not fun.

Its LITERALLY exactly the same thing as Suicide Squad....Sorry not sorry kid, they are exactly the same game in almost every way except for guns and hand to hand combat....Knight also requires you to connect to WB online services also, so using idiot logic Arkham Knight must also be a GAAS but with a season pass and content you must purchase

Notice how in this game, the unlockable skills are actually new abilities or significant improvements on existing abilities instead of "defeating an enemy will give you +15% critical damage for 5 seconds."

I know people hated the Batmo-tank, but I loved the game. The Barbara Gordon apartment scene, the Jason Todd flashbacks...hell, it had me at Frank Sinatra. 😂
I played it for the first time recently (on the switch, admittedly). Honestly, while the Batmobile was used a bit too frequently (and for some fights it probably shouldn’t have been, at least not the only way), I still enjoyed it. And the story? I didn’t follow DC comics a lot, but from what I’ve heard, I kinda like this Jason Todd story more than other appearances/death
@@davidbeer5015 Yeah, I really liked Jason being the Arkham Knight. I was never some crazy comic geek, in fact we don't have many of the comics in my country, so I knew Batman mostly from the animated shows and movies. I had no idea about the direction they were going with Jason in this game right until the hallucination scenes of Joker torturing him, when I started piecing the puzzle together and it was absolutely shocking for me, in a good way. I actually like the story in Arkham Knight more than City, because Hugo Strange is such an unbelievable villain for me, it's a bit weird how powerful he suddenly becomes and is owning almost every other major villain. Ras Al Ghul should have been the front and centre main antagonist.
That Man-Bat jumpscare gets me every damn time I play this again
Ah, it’s nice to see a Rocksteady who makes an effort again. I mean the attention to detail!.. I remember when the game was coming out a dev talked about how this Batman isn’t messing around anymore, they introduced fear takedowns so they moved his cape to below his shoulders rather than on his shoulders to improve his mobility in the context of the universe. (chef’s kiss)

Nowadays, I feel like “good graphics” just means foggy with poor visual clarity. As an example, ghost recon wildlands looks way cleaner than breakpoint. AC Odyssey looks way cleaner than Valhalla. You can apply this principle to so many “modern” games.
There's a reason for that: TAA, whole thing makes games look like the screen is covered in vaseline.

there are too much batmobile levels that sacrifice alot of things. batman vs deathstroke in arkham origins is better thant in arkham knight and the riddler race track does not fit with the riddle
@@zaknakmenace9356 Let's be real, DC fans just love to overrate Deathstroke. He is no match for Batman in general and he is also an old guy since Origins. The boss battle in Origins is also very overhyped. It was easy as fuck to defeat Slade.
its incredible how good Arkham Knight looks to this day, the character models, the costumes, the environment, the lighting, its incredibly impressive. The constant rain and it making everything super shiny reflective helps a ton, but even without those effects, in the interiors the game still look amazing. Not many games surpass it, even these days.
The bomb’s payload is exposed, I can use the power winch to trigger a controlled explosion.
Also whatever wizardry they did to make the game looks this good they deserve endless praise for cause even today nothing looks this good

It's the way they didn't put effort into making a game that fits those characters. Real DC Fans have been begging for a red hood game, nightwing game, Arkham origins 2 with robin, batman beyond with either damien or terry as batman, but mostly superman and flash aswell💯💯🔥

Did a third full playthrough of this game recently and i can easily say that is still holds up and plays like a charm. Graphics look crazy for a game that's so old.
I played this game on my 650Ti with 15-20 frames when it first launched, this was one of the best games I have ever played and I almost 100% it (I'm too lazy to do the riddlers collectables)

Man this takes me back. I beat this like 5 times lol. Using the Batman beyond suit of course, never did complete all the riddler challenges (obviously😅) highly underrated because of the hated tank battles imo…other than that this game is *chefs kiss 💋

Imagine a batman boss fight in SSKTJL where he fights the SS like he does with the normal goons in arkham, + using all his gadgets and abilities. while having an epic arkham theme playing in the back ground. I think it would be better than the knock off scarecrow fight we got.
I'm just playing through arkham knight myself, I've never finished it in the years I've had it, the game brilliant, I know what happens at the end, but I can't wait to complete it....

btw in case you don't know, you can grapple and stun a heavy hitter so in a crowd when they are stunned they will fumble and hit their own allies giving you an edge in the fight

This is definition of what AAA game should be. but also Arkham city and Asylum are great games to, classic's.
The thing is this game does the elevator pitch from Gotham Knights way better than the actual game. You can play the challenge missions with all the batfamily, each with their own playstyle and it's way more fun the GK.

Arkham Knights is not just a game, it is a work of art. I bought the Arkham Collection (was on sale for $15) from Steam and spent 10 hours and only completed 14% of the game, I am having a blast going all over Gotham and attention to details blows me away.
I replayed this game with Batmobile cheats that give you unlimited rapid fire rockets. Every tank battle was over in less than 10 seconds essentially allowing you to just skip them. It really helped with the pacing of the story and just let you get back to being Batman. You still have the Batmobile chases and puzzles which are fun, so it makes you not hate the Batmobile. It's how I'll replay the game every time now.
I really should try this one on Gamepass 😂 keep putting it off. Not played ANY of the batman games
All this game needs on console is an update for 4K 60fps. Perfection and my personal favourite in the series

The Arkham Series really took Harvey Dent's advice from the dark knight to heart. You either die a really amazing franchise, or you keep making games until they inevitably fall off and suck. COD and Assassin's Creed did the second one.

My biggest issue with Arkham games were the riddle puzzles and trophies .City has the most like 400 trophies. I bet if some company would make a simple 60fps patch with increased resolution and a remaster/remake for Origins as bundle on current gen consoles it would definitely outsell Sushi Squad by 1000%
