Part of me would vote to open it and just keep the box. I don’t think there’s anything on the actual car that shows mudboss just the box and maybe instructions. Sure you break the factory seal and maybe 30 years down the road you might kick yourself. Or not. Just gambling on how valuable it will be. Sure it will be rare but rare doesn’t equal valuable

Open mine before I found out about the change. Almost through the box away. So it’s too late for me, but I’m keeping the box for now at least.
