@@OGsDangerShow i found their website a few years ago and it was all really cheap but they combined a laser with a dot also so I thought it was sus quality .
I have a red dot from primary arms before they were even known i think it was like their first one I got it back around 2010 i think . The same battery still works .
Very fun to watch. It might be a little ugly but it's pretty tough

Anything that can handle a half hour of the view is indestructible

LOL. I can't even survive a half hour of The View. That's the worst torture test I can think of. From what I could tell, that's one tough assed little red dot. Reminded me of a lot of these Hi Point torture tests where they drive bolts down the barrel, pour them full of concrete and they just keep on working.

At £240 here in the UK it's not a cheap toy for us compared to the U.S price but it sure looks interesting for driven boar in Europe. Great video, regards from Scotland.

Loving these meat-and-potatoes reviews OG. I don’t expect to ever freeze any kind of electronic device into a block of ice or bake it that hot, but I’m pretty sure you exceeded the manufacturer recommended temperature limits. Too bad about the fogging. That tells me it wasn’t sparged with dry nitrogen or dry air before it was sealed. Then again, at that price it really can’t be expected.
12:50 those are some pretty awesome tires too! I’ve had the Widpeak Trail A/T’s for a couple years now and they are awesome for the price and the capability. Was able to drive around crater lake from my parents house to north western CA in a snowstorm, and didn’t need chains or had any slipping
Did you try the ultimate cheap optics torture test, leaving it in a gun safe for 3 months then bring it to the range to discover it died just sitting still in a dark cool safe.😐

@OGsDangerShow Thank you for reviewing the A20 Miniature Red / Green Dot Sight RMR Footprint 2 MOA Sight, I picked up a couple for myself. Have you seen the Dove mount for pistols that don't have an RMR cut? I Have seen some great reviews and durability tests looks like a good piece of kit.

Wow i am impressed by this. Ultimate test....give it to an airsofter ! We break all kinds of unbreakable gear. I reckon from all it went through it would survive an airsoft game. Love OG's presenting style, always fun and always informative.

I put old pellet red-dot on a Marlin 22. Years ago. It still is perfect. Love u're reviews Officer Greg and i believe u do a good job reviewing.

Oh, NO!!!! You did NOT expose that poor sight to... the VIEW!!! You monster! How could you?!? ...But it survived, so harm, no foul. It didn't break the glass or kill the dot. Pretty impressive little sight. The drop tests and the taco test were brutal, but the sight actually seemed to improve a bit with some of them. I'm not a red dot kinda guy, but that looks like a pretty cool product. Out of curiosity, I looked them up on e-bay and they have several models for both rifle and pistol. Thanks for another great video. Keep 'em coming!

Shake awake is super dope! I've had the same battery in my Romeo 5 for a year and a half, and it's still as bright as the day I put in the battery!

Not bad at all, expected the concrete drop to do it in, pretty good design. I have learned that dropping it in the dirt somehow improves accuracy 😅. Have a great week and stay safe.

The best CZcams gun style torture test ever. 1/2 hour of the View. Bwahahahaah. Sure it's not a PRO, Vortex, or some high end optic that people think make you shoot better. But for a simple out to 50-100 yards SHTF dot it seemed pretty darn good. Would be nice dot on a home defense shotgun especially with the shake awake feature. Love the channel.

Thank you. I have a couple cheap red dots i bought years ago. Theyre still going. Been on ARs mostly but one is going on a .50 black powder. I got moisture in one but it was my fault and it did clear up to my surprize. I have a couple more cheap optics to try out.

I picked up a cheap red dot just to see if it would be a helpful option for me. It held up pretty good and was an affordable way to experiment with the concept without breaking the bank. I learned a few things and feel a lot more comfortable about spending a good amount on a quality dot. Hopefully you can get this one in green. I'm curious if I can pick up on it better.
Pretty impressed. Don't have the patience to continually be adjusting stuff.
I like this, great test. Just an idea, if you did it in the future again seeing a red dot survive on a shot gun with a bunch of 3” loads would also be a great test of durability.

For the money their whole lineup is pretty impressive IMO. Seem very well made too. My only gripe thus far is I have a smaller pistol style dot and it uses tiny screws to adjust windage and elevation.....tiny....FLAT HEAD screws. Which of course, means they'll be mangled in short order OR the housing immediately around them will. Beyond that I love the little things and suggest them to anyone who can get past the point of origin :)

Now that is what I call a test. The interesting thing now will be to see which manufacturers/distributors will treat this as a good showcase of their products and send you samples, and which ones will quietly move along.

One of the main issues with the cheap Amazon Chinese red dots is consistency. I've reviewed a bunch of these types of dots, and many of the companies send me two at a time. Inevitably, one will pass testing with flying colors and the other has some sort of issues. Good video though!

Great torture test. It is a very tough unit but the freezing may be a draw back for our Northern Brothern.
I think regular freezing temps would be ok. Freezing in a block of ice forced water inside.

I must admit I'm impressed. It's no surprise that it lost zero after being dropped on the concrete 5 times. As for putting it in water for hours and then freezing it, I doubt many (any?) much more expensive optics would have survived that.

I didn’t test that, but sitting still it would be a long dam time. Even in low, these sights are usually good for a year of illumination or better.
When baking your red dot i would suggest olive oil. I know its tempting to use butter but olive oil will burn less and help it gets that nice even golden crust. Cheffs kiss 😘 👌
On tough testing mo fo....Can you do another video on the differience between the boxy and round rifle versions? LOL on the view test. Maybe you could freeze and bake it then mount on a Yeet Cannon to dress up your High Point...
