You missed the heated steering wheel!!!😊😅😅😅😅
I have a 22 Limited 4runner and I love it. The ride is so smooth with such great visibility over the hood and sides and rear. Perfect mid-size SUV. Not too big, not too small. I love the simplicity and dont let anyone tell you it lacks technology. It has the most tech savvy safety features than most vehicles on the road. That 5 speed is so old school that its a treat and a throwback the way vehicles used to be. If it ain't broke, dont fix it!
True 💯
The smoothness and visibility on the hood is what im with this vehicle.
Y'all are a great duo! I absolutely love 4Runners. All generations, all trims - they're all unique in their own way. Excited to see what Toyota brings to the table with 6th gen.
Loved our LE 2016 4WD/AWD. The full time AWD saved us in snow and rain many times.
We got 14.5 mpg, which led to a really small range and tons of trips to the gas station. I hated being at the gas station every 3-4 days.
Jeff goes through every feature I love that.
Jeff, I'm a 40yr car business veteran and work for a Toyota dealer in Wa State. You do an incredible job. I owe you lunch because you have certainly educated me and I'm sure others. Thank you
Awesome I’m so glad I could help you
One of the few old school vehicles left on the market. You guys did great 👍
The chemistry of these 2 is phenomenal! well done.
Great video, love you guys!!!
Jeff & Christina. Thanks for the informative and well done video. Curious have you any feed back from customers on the real world mpgs for the rwd versions presuming you drive normally. I have heard that the mpg for real world is often higher than the EPA estimates presuming one is not too heavy with the foot.
Great informative video Jeff and Christina! My personal preference would be the base SR5 which offers the best value! Army Green for me! Mark in Iowa.
Own the same one, same color except I have the 4WD version .Absolutely love it,just enough tech and toughness.
I have a 2017 SR5 but my dream 4Runner is the limited
5:35, I have to agree. Those are nice screws.
Seriously the most "dad" salesman ever. Love it
That’s so awesome hahahaha
I noticed there are wires inside the glass of the far back, left and right side windows. Do you know what they are for? (De-ice or radio antennas or GPS maybe??)
I love your Toyota 4runner limited 👍❤️ 2022
How does the ride quality on this compare to the new Sequoia? Both limiteds are body on frame with a solid rear axle.
She's got style, she's got grace, she's Miss United States!
Hahaha exactly
Thanks 👍...thanks
Do the running boards retract?
Id like to see more of the rear end
is the apple and android play wireless in this model? I have ordered a 2023 limited model with redwood interior last week.
2023 the same as 2022 how much you got it for?
I just purchased a 2022 4 runner with 17k miles on it. Looking for recommendations on what to use to or where to take to get undercoating to prevent rust. I live in PA. TY!
Did you get your 4runner rust proofing done yet ? I know a company in new york that does it for exactly $550 cash and it's a 2 hour job oil-based not rubberized coating which is not good....I'm gonna do mines close to fall season like around October this year.right now my 4runner under carriage is dry and solid like a bone lol 😊
I just knew Jeff was gonna do something crazy 😅
I tried to hard to keep my cool…but then….
@@Toyotajeff lol that's why I am here jeff
You can lower and raise the rear sliding window from the outside..you don't need to go inside to do it...Where it says 4runner on the back to the right of it are two arrows..one for up one for down...seems like you two didn't know..😮
Toyota 4Runners are built in the Toyota Lexus Factory in Japan highest quality and most reliable Toyota. How much extra is the 4x4 option?
Jeff what happened to y'alls podcast? I just realized there was never another episode in months!?
Favorite part was the “back end”! 😊
It’s really a bummer that the trd pro means sacrificing the ventilated seats
I am from Montreal
Jeff is off to HR after that comment in the bloopers.
very good
If it had a passenger height adjustment and heated steering wheel I might actually buy one
I owned one. The lack of passenger height and lumbar adjustment was really disappointing. I would’ve traded the memory seat function for those. Overall seat comfort was actually pretty bad.
Cool
I absolutely love the full-time 4WD on the Limited. I prefer the 3rd row option vs sliding cargo tray. I wish dealership offer to get the Limited with 17in wheels as Mrs have almost no sympathy driving the Limited even in city loading lot of stuff from hardware store for her gardening and driving over things that she is not suppose to, LoL. Automatic running boards definitely help my wife getting in and out while not ruining the looks with the thicker rocker panels Limited have over other models. I 100% agree with Jeff about the XREAS. It is the most comfortable suspension system for "smoooth on road performance". That blooper in the end, LoooooooooooooL. I knew that would have happen when you say that at @1:42..🤣🤣
Where I live the Toyota dealer has take-off wheels and tires from Off-Road or Sr5 4Runners. I have a 2021 limited and bought the Off-Road wheels and put BFG K02 tires on them. Same overall circumference as the 20” limited setup so no problems with Speedo, ABS, or rubbing. Now I can air down for off road trails. I kept the original tires and put them back on for winter driving. You could even sub out for 17” TRD Pro wheels if you want.
I'm stuck between prado 4 liter vs 4 runner. Should i be concerned regarding fuel consumption?
In a word: yes.
I got 14.5 mpg in mine. It’s full time AWD.
It was the trips to the gas station that bothered me more than the cost.
Habat dan top
I wish it had a power adjusting steering wheel
Don't know why it needs power. It has a lever that lets you manually adjust the steering wheel in and out and up and down to fit just about anybody.
Awesome video, but my local toyota is asking 6k mark up on 4runners... pass
I’d find a better dealer.
Yeah, that's ridiculous.
When are the 2023 Corolla going on sale?
Who cares
@@terrynichol577 , I was going to say the same thing. Lol
How does an SUV in 2022 not have a power liftgate?
Cuz it doesn't need one... ? Get a cool highlander if you want that.
I also see all those ugly black wheel well liner clips on the white painted fender. What the heck is that? That said, we're getting one.
I'm not buying any Toyota when dealers are marking up prices above MSRP
Why in the world did y’all not talk about the new feature? A heated steering wheel!!!
270 hp is well below competitors… Toyota quality is the differentiator
Lol… the lift gate is even manual on a limited???!!!! No seat warmers???? Or 4WD????
Can I have your permission to marry Christina? She is absolutely gorgeous ❤
“It’s the cream of the crap” 😂
Expensive and TOYOTA OF DALLAS IS ADDING 10000 MORE TO MSRP DUE TO SHORTAGE OF VEHICLES
Are you for real 10,000?? Did you try cowboys, Richardson, Rockwall , grapevine and Toyota Dallas ?
Hi. Cristina, get your own CZcams channel.
صباح الخير أخي كم سعر سيارة وشكرا
4x2??? I thought all limited were 4x4 all wheel drive
Nope it can be 4x4 or full-time 4WD
I'D RATHER HAVE A COROLLA XSE OR A RAV4 XLE PREMIUM OR A TACOMA
YEAH THOSE COROLLAS ARE AWESOME AND I HEARD THOSE TACOMA TRANSMISSIONS HAVE NO PROBLEMS WHATSOEVER...
uh huh huh huh, Rear
Chrome is the past. Blacked out, body color or bronze is the now.
I own the 40th Anniversary Edition which is a step below perhaps the best value for the money which is the TRD Off-Road Premium trim; which has max capability tho some features are a bit unnecessary for 90% of population.
2014 to 2022 Limited makes no significant difference...they all look the exact same both exterior and interior.only minor changes annually....no improvements to gas mileage. For anyone who's not an off-roader like me,you can get yourself a 2014 or 2015 4runner Limited in RWD and save a ton of money as these older models are very much in line with newer year models.its only a slightly larger infotainment screen and newly implemented lane-assist parking feature.now noticed I said 2WD earlier....a RWD 4runner limited can get you out of most difficult road conditions throughout the city, doest eat gas like the 4WD editions do and lastly if one tire goes Ka-poof you gotta change all 4 of them...Ouch !!...The 4runner limited trims are down right sexy and luxurious compared to the other trims and it has off-roading capabilities but you will need to manually upgrade its suspension sysyem and switch to heavy duty off-road wheels....otherwise you will be quite surprised how little difference there is from a 2014 to a 2022 like what is featured in this video and how much money your saving.
Do not listen to the 4x4 or AWD hype surrounding 4runners...these set up are best suited for off-roading and trailing. In that case a TRD Off-Road Premium, or Trail Premium. These vehicles have part-time and full time AWD,Claw Controll features. If not an off-roader get the limited trim and cruise around the city in style with luxurious amenities 😊
That’s a 2Runner not a 4Runner.
The limited is the ugliest and worse trim imo. My thought process has always been if you get a limited 4Runner then just pay more and get a nicer land cruiser or a crossover like a highlander with way better mpg and smoother on road ride which does it better than what the limited is trying to be with all the chrome and 20 inch wheels. Nobody is off roading a limited 5th gen 4runner and the people who do modify it and take off the 20 inch wheels and rip the lower body sections that make it a limited on the outside and try to make it into a normal 4runner with better clearance. The lower body and chrome everywhere and trying to make it a city slicker just doesn’t fit why people love the 4runner for being rugged and super capable off road and modifiable. But then again, the 4runner limited would still be a great option for bad weather states that get a lot of snow compared to a crossover. I never even considered the limited. I’d rather get a base sr5 and use the money to build it up to what I want or get a trd off road or splurge and get the trd pro. All those are extremely capable and modifiable. The limited just never made sense to me with the rest of the 4runner lineup which focuses on being a lifestyle adventure vehicle but then again toyota sells tons of limited 4Runners. I see them everywhere. The sr5 is prolly their most sold trim followed by either the limited or trd off road.
$51k for a 2x4 😂
Nice sucrose 😂😂😂
"People in the third row....". I don't believe the 4runner has a third row. ????
20” just does not look right to me on a 4Runner. I have a 4Runner myself so no hate for it at all. Just don’t like the limited big wheels and chrome all over.
2004 called. It wants its ancient SUV back.
Yes, but at least it’s an actual SUV and not a raised hatch.
B great so it's got a twenty year old engine that gets the same pathetic fuel economy, dated interior missing modern features and we're supposed to believe the auto cartels are magically going to pivot to all BEV in the next ten years 🤣. oh right
@@TheKingOfInappropriateComments and with your points they're still one of if not the best SUVs at holding their value 🤔 hmmm
@@kingtee94 Thats pretty much the entire toyota brand, not a specific model. Toyota is not on the cutting edge but their vehicles aren't total garbage either.
That poor girl must have lost a bet to do this w that weirdo!
funny you called this luxurious; well can't agree here. and the price is not too far off of the GX which is more luxurious.
on a separate note, seems new generation is not coming till early or even mid of 2024; will wait till new design; but if they keep delaying might look into something else. i agree that this is reliable which is sure thing with 20 year old car. and i am fine and would bought this old machine but not for this crazy money they are asking for
