It's a microwave safe plastic....yes, covering the food makes it cook faster and moisture is retained in it....

Thank you dear Palak, Honestly I would not suggest you to use plastic utensils in microwave mode as it is not good for health but still if you don't have any option you can use a plastic bowl but make sure it is microwave safe. Yes it is necessary to cover to keep the dishes moist and cooked properly

The one which I am using I got from store 99, You can use any thick and big coffee mugs ( don't use fine bone china cups) and you can also search from flipkart or Amazon.

How much time will it take if we take samalina ( the unroasted one) ? And is the recipe you showed in the vedio is same for unroasted one. Please reply mam , easy recipe.

Hey!! if unroasted semolina is taken then for that first you have to dry roast semolina for 1:30 on microwave mode (do stop and mix after every 30sec). Rest recipe will be same

Hey dear, on microwave mode you can use glass vessel, on grill and convection mode you can use glass vessel , metal or the non stick tawa which you would have received with your microwave . Also silicon moulds can be used in convention mode. Avoid using plastic and Melanie as it's not good for health when used in microwave

Upma and Vermicelli are not easy ones even on a gas stove. Being able to prepare them in a microwave is a bliss!
Can't tell you how much I would enjoy these preparations without the worry of sticking and burning to the kadhai... 🙂
