- I met a smart woman who told me of her atheism. To my surprised, I prompted her with the question of why that is so. According to her world view, the Universe is apparently a product of chance, a massive accident, that seemingly spawned out of nothing. Now atheist often call us religious people crazy for believing in God, well I think atheist are crazier for believing something can come out of nothing. In either case, both sides look crazy. Anyway, in this episode I explain to you a spiritual feeling I have with Internet Computer. It's one of those crazy feelings you can't explain, but here it is.

Yes my gut feel when I discovered ICP was "this is the one, get involved"

It’s why I don’t care for the price chart bcuz my conviction is beyond the price pumps and dumps. I know inevitably icp valuation will be several thousand folds. its "extremely improbable" by human timescales but extremely likely on universal time scales
thus order by default is not an "intelligent design," its just one of many states.
and we happen to live in one of those "orderly" states.
Not to say, there is no God, but making a jump from "order" to "intelligent design" or creator is premature.
Back in March did anyone sell ICP at $21 considering current price for ICP is now $7.80?

As far as the right brain part is concerned Icp aligns with at least 3 of the 5 core objectives of an Islamic way of life, namely: protection of oneself, protection of the intellect and protection of personal and communal wealth.

All i know is that there's something very very unique about icp. Each time DFINITY makes a move, i kept wondering, "what exactly are they after." I feel the same way about our universe. Kinda makes me feel like icp is a technical rebirth of my (our) universe. The name, the logo, the team, the idea are not random. Look at the community too, not random.
I do believe that there's God because this universe follows a pattern that is mostly unknown to humans and those who'd know are spirits and they come back (through reincarnation) with their memories completely formatted and with a new body (as a child)..

Hey there! Atheist here. The first few minutes of this video was hilarious and kinda bougie. Let me explain. First you said “I was chillin with this woman she’s a very smart woman”. You repeated that she was very smart but that you didn’t expect her to be atheist. As if what? Atheists are dummies? Most of my fellow atheists know far more knowledgeable about religion that most religious people I know. That’s precisely why they come to the conclusion that atheism is the only logical conclusion when it’s thought about at length and, here’s the catchy part, with honesty. Most people can’t get past that due to programming since birth.
I was atheist for 7 years and trust me when I tell you, that’s not an impressive stage.

It’s interesting, you say that you have a feeling that there is something there that made this universe with laws controlling it. The laws are logical, and then you deem the atheists“ conclusions as insane or rather illogical, when they abided by the same logical rules of this world to come to the conclusion. Organized religion is believing in axioms, irrefutable Orginal laws that found the train of thought or equation. There are philosophical and logical arguments like the one by Descartes or Spinoza that try to prove gods existence, but if you look at the axioms, they have to be „believed“. In a way, an atheists is then a believer as is a person of god. That’s why I am agnostic, we simply cannot tell, if there is a god that created us, the little people on some point in the universe, for a reason or if we are a rare product of pure chance.
I'm not a religious person, don't think I can fit a god on my beliefs but, there is something in there on ICP, I haven't felt it since I found BTC in 2013.
Not sure what you’re asking. I understand that we can’t comprehend god if it exists and so you can only really sum it up as a feeling but ICP isn’t something we can’t comprehend. Are you asking if i believe ICP will be the biggest thing since sliced bread? Because that would certainly be a feeling and yeah I think it has the potential.

Great vid James. I started going to church again after October last year. Because of all the unrest and hate in the world. We should walk the path of love and not hate (please watch the video of Arnold Schwarzenegger!). Church is a great reminder of that. With Difinity and ICP i got the same vibe. Trust, communion.
I'm an athiest and yes i feel a lot of charisma overall on community dfinity and icp, it feels like the "chosen one"

I feel like I have went through some spiritual battle holding crypto. I was all in XRP. But there was this voice telling me to get out for it is not what it is. The voice led me to ICP, ultimately. I still hold an erc20 token. There is also a peace kind of vibe holding ICP. Very happy to hear other people on the spiritual aspect of crypto.
I swapped my very large XRP bag for ICP. I think Ripple is the manipulator and first-hand XRP dumper.

Order is not a sign of design... there's something fundamental about our universe than can create order out of chaos, such is the law of our particular universe.
Given enough monkeys randomly pressing on a typing machine one will eventually write a good novel. It's just our minds are too feeble to comprehend the scales and orders of magnitude in such games of chance. And universe is GINARMOUSLY HUUUUUGE(mind starts to break down if you try to bring it down to familiar scales). I.e. there's a lot of monkeys(atoms) in it...
This is my hypothesis of how life came to be - chance, it's just universe is mind-bendingly big, can exist in other corners as well
Life isn't magic, it's a machine... a very complicated and non classical(aka clunking steampunk metal) but a machine nontheless and it doesn't work using magic - it battles the most fundamental forces in the universe - the flow of entropy(from order to disorder) and this battle costs energy.
Life consumes energy to reverse the flow of entropy in a limited space(life body boundaries)... by doing this it increases the entropy around it(just like an air conditioner is nothing more than an entropy pump)
It's pointless to talk about God in scientific manner though, because it's impossible to prove nor disprove existence of God.
I'm an agnostic., I don't have a particular strong believe in existence / absence of creator.
And it's a bad idea to interchange notion of various religions and God(more generic term)
We might as well live in a simulation and then simulation creator is our God...

So the father begets the son, and the holy spirit proceeds the father and the son. In other words, the father needs the son to have a human experience and the holy spirit is the love between the father and the son.
Islam is the truth, Islam translates to English means submission to God alone without partners, read the Quran and see that there is no other truth than Islam. Jesus himself was Muslim, he prayed to God, did Jesus worship himself ? Ofc not he submitted to God, making him a Muslim. Muslim means one who submits
Chance does not mean "no order", it's probability based on mathematics. For example, by chance (or probability) when a comet hit the earth and wiped out the dinosaurs it allowed humans to evolve. Your description of chance or "any thing goes" would better describe the creation of God. If you need a designer for existence and God exists, well who created God? Your argument is circular.
That said, if ICP goes to $500 I definitely will believe in God.
You're not getting the point though... If God was created by chance, it would remain a product a chance. Change God with the word Universe, same thing. The reality is we live in a Universe governed by fixed laws, in other words a matrix. There's nothing chancey about that. Have you ever built anything? Even if the simplest of things requires enormous intelligence. You don't realize that until you actually try to build that simple thing. Yet you're telling me this wonderfully complex orchestra of a Universe is a product of chance. This logic doesn't add up.
You're also failing many logical axioms. One of them being "Nothing can rise higher than its source". How can you a thinking intelligent being come out of an unthinking unintelligent Universe or source... doesn't add up dude. We are the product of a higher intelligence- an intelligence we'll never understand hence why I do not partake in religion or theology.
@@cxc Firstly, I never said God or the Universe is a product of chance. Honest answer is I don't know. Perhaps an adolescent alien created a simulated Universe for an inter-galactic school project. But if that was the case, the question would then be, who created that alien. That's my point, you argue that we must have an intelligent designer for all these complicated things - except the most complicated thing of all - God. So unless you can tell me where God came from your logic defeats itself.
@@m0nkey13 God always existed. It's the uncreated creator. Let me be clear again, we will never understand this force/intelligence. It's beyond our little finite mind. All one can do is acknowledge that its there, and in my case, pay it reverence.

I don’t believe God would be written about by men. Proclaimed men at that, that supposedly are the “true” ones.
I don’t disregard any religion, because I think very interesting things can be learned - and I do agree there is a creator/God - but I’ll never tie him to any religion, including Islam.
I think the real truth about God/Creator is going to be extremely hard to ever find out, because the history of humanity is extremely unknown.
I have no problem with people believing whatever they want, but if it’s to a point they claim it’s the only “true” one, there’s really no way of knowing. A person of any religion can say the same about theirs, but it’ll all mean the same.
