Daigle has always been one of my favourites. Back in the civic centre days when I was 7 or 8 years old he was great to me. Came out of the doors, picked me up, talked hockey for a couple of minutes and signed my jersey. It was common to meet entire teams back then as they had to come out in a public area, up those stairs. But Daigle went above and beyond to the point that my mother actually sent the Sens a letter about it and Bryden ended up giving us his seats for a game.
For all the flack both Daigle and Bryden took in the years after that, both were all class to a little kid and ended up making a lifelong Sens fan. Daigle always got far more crap than he ever deserved. Did he single handedly save the Sens? No. But I don't know that anyone could have saved those early teams. He went on to have quite a respectable NHL career, even if it didn't live up to his pre-draft hype.
And man is he ever good on this show. Maybe a new host?

Daigle was great! Awesome personality and fun, liked him better off-ice then on ice! lol... Bring him on once a month would be fun. Not sure he would want to hangout every week though.

What a great interview. Like many Quebecers he a great story teller but just like Andre Roy their even better in French interviews.
Daigle makes me think of a Norm MacDonald mixed with gsp the way he talks and his humour, very entertaining!

Yes Unparalleled Success. Still waiting for that to start, still use the phrase at the start of every fkn season since 2022 because we should be in year 3, 2 at worst. And yes totally agree with new mgmt and ownership it goes 1 of 2 ways depending on what happens this summer. Playoffs in 2025 or maybe 2027? Can you imagine 10 years without the Ottawa red mile. No pressure SS n co. Rangers win 3-2 in OT tonight.
