    Your lipstick was the star of the show! Sorry it has been so hot where you live...I heard it will be blazing all summer.....yikes....hope your little one is doing well too...love from MN thanks for the nice video in our everyday life! I just put my compacta outside...it fights mealy in all those grooves but there are not many insects outside except misquitoes! So I hope something finds the mealys and eats them up!

      It is seriously the worst plant to get mealies with all those crevices. Hopefully nature will take care of it for you 🙏. I chuckled when you said there's not much insects but mosquitoes 😆 it's the same over here lol hopefully theres some spiders around for you.

    I love making planty to do lists, I usually have multiple going. Of course my favorite is crossing things off!

    • @mypetitegarden
      @mypetitegarden  Před 2 lety +4

      And then when you are finished - it feels so good to look at a fully crossed off list 😀

    If the bulbs you repotted are hardy for your area, it might be a good idea(and easiest) to just throw in your garden and wait until next spring

    • @mypetitegarden
      @mypetitegarden  Před 2 lety +2

      Yep we did end up doing that in our front garden after all the bulbs were done recharging :)

    Always relaxing, and fun. Glad you didn’t have too too many mealy bugs! Hopefully they won’t be coming back. They aren’t too bad if you catch them early. I always have gnats, and hate when they try going up my nose or mouth lol. Nice to see that you write lists, ha I can’t read my own writing so I just type it on my phone or iPad. :P

    • @mypetitegarden
      @mypetitegarden  Před 2 lety +2

      Hahaha omg gnats are just as annoying. I haven't had them try to go in my mouth or nose yet but I did have one land on my tea.

    Love your little potting shed and your channel. Could I ask where you got your potting bench? Are they high enough to work at without bending over?

    I love your variegated lipstick plant. How did the leaves get so pink?

    • @mypetitegarden
      @mypetitegarden  Před 2 lety +1

      It's very sunstressed 😆 I had it right by my west facing window and now it's choosing to stay pink even after I pulled it away lol

    Hi, Stacey. What are you using to top off the plant? I’ve used fir bark. I would love to try something new. I looked at your Amazon list. I’m still not sure what it is that you are using.

      I used Bonsai Block in this video to top dress. You can find them from the Bonsai Jack website.
