It seems that you are planning for Canada PR for a better life and future, many congratulations for that. As ECA is the first step to start your process and many people are confused about ECA. People have lot of questions like,
Is my University recognized by WES?
Will I get positive evaluation report from WES?
One of my friends applied for ECA through WES and he got evaluation report as university not recognized?

I checked sikkim manipal university today and wes didn't gave any error message when I entered SMU name in university.
So should I take Sikkim manipal university as a wes recognised university or not?

No dont worry....ECA evaluation has nothing to do with GPA or marks or grades,

Symbiosis isn't recognised by wess still its showing an option of open University symbiosis

There is no recognised university list in Wes, don't give wrong news to people they start panic,
My Nims university was also not in the list of Wes and while I was typing no such name was there,
Then my bachelor's was recognised by Wes.
Wes evaluate based on the study module, exam pattern and many other criterias. So apply whichever university you r from.. don't worry
My college is affiliated to university of mumbai but is graded b by naac so do affiliation matters for wes or the college name and grade?

I have done my MBA from Kalinga university in 2015. When I put the details In Wes it showed private university but it didn’t show any errors. Does it get negative report? Kalinga university is private university
It's not about private or government university, but university has to be UGC approved and must have all required affiliations... so if private university has all then it's will definitely be positive...

I completed my MBA pgdm from ibs mumbai but wes doesn’t recognise this degree. What could be the alternative for this and how would i know if other evaluation agencies like iqas, ces or icas could consider my degree before sending it for evaluation. Either prove to Wes that your degree from ibs is aicte recognised or apply fr an eca with iqas

I have done my PGDM distance learning course from Welingkar Institute of Management Developement & Research - UGC & AICTE approved (Autonomous college).
My question is, does WES evaluate an autonomous college and a PGDM distance learning course?
Yes WES does evaluate autonomous and distance learning courses from selected universities,
but as far as Welingkar institute is concern, you need to check in the WES website, while applying if you get the name of this institute in list then WES will evaluate else no,
What if someone's degree was fake .?? Then we can get negative report or their will be written something like fake data or something ????? Please reply.
Yes for fake degree one gets negative evaluation report and accounts gets blocked and WES also send report to IRCC

WES now removed this option, and now this message doesn't pop up so you will not know it.. in my case, they did not inform me while I was adding the credential, and when the report came, it showed as a non-recognized institution. I paid more than 300 dollars for that.. can you suggest what can be done now? because the institute is recognized by the Indian government.
If you are sure that the university is recognized by UGC or AICTE you may try other ECA bodies like IQAS or CEC
